The summer rolls were delicious with the peanut sauce, which was a little runnier than I prefer. According to those who had the other dishes: The golden noodle dish with beef was excellent. The Pad Kingh was quite good, and the fried rice was good. Nice atmosphere and we will be back! Wish we had a Thai place this good in San Marcos!

Pad Thai is gaining in popularity, but with newer places attempting to add it to their menu, you find a wide range of quality. Pad Thai is one of my comfort foods, and I’ll make it if I have to, but there is nothing more gratifying than finding a place who makes decent pad thai(to go) so I can go home and try to game while eating pad thai with chopsticks. Food I don’t have to make! Yay! I got the chicken pad thai and I was quite pleased. This was some of the best pad thai I have had in quite sometime. I walked in and ordered take out on a whim, and the wait was not long at all. There was quite a bit of food. This is always good. But there was quite a bit of food that DIDN’T SUCK, which makes it awesome. Bonus? Decent boba tea. I will be back, and boringly predictable, I will be ordering the chicken pad thai.

My girlfriend worked there six days until the first paycheck. Do not tip here because the wait staff does not get the tips. They are paid a flat rate of $ 70 a day if at all. This is even if the tips reach over $ 70 each which is consistanty well over that. The wait staff is essentially paying the restaurant to work.

First impression: the restaurant is dirty. I lived in Asia for many years and I’m not bothered by dirty restaurants, while I guess I prob should be. The carpet is badly stained. But that’s prob the worst thing and it has a slight funk smell. Other than that it’s just not first date kind of place. Second thing, i ordered it to go. I ordered Pad Thai and it seemed a tad pricy. So why four stars? Because this pad Thai was the shit! Omfg! The portions were huge but that dsnt matter. What matters is how freakin awesome their food was/is. Oh, just one thing; I asked for it to be spicy, it wasn’t at all. I promise if you really know and like Thai food, you won’t be sorry.

Strives for mediocrity and solidly achieves it. Ordered soup for take out. Took 20 mins which is a lot for Thai soup. Entire 20 minutes spent being annoyed by owners severely under disciplined son while he fly a toy airplane around pi$$ing off a majority of the 6 couples in the place. Had a tantrum. The kid, not me, and was allowed to kick the walls, the server and whoever the old white dude was schlepping food. Won’t be in the monthly rotation…

The food is really good. They are understaffed for sure. I will NEVER eat in again. They have a child in there and he runs around the whole place screaming and yelling. He bangs on the doors and has major temper tantrums in the place. That is not how I want to spend a date night with my husband!!!

I’ve eaten here three times and each time has been phenomenal. My mouth literally waters for Thai Racha. The staff are very friendly and try their best to get you a dish that suits your needs(vegetarians, people who aren’t into spicy, first time Thai eaters, etc). I’ve always had Pad Thai and love it so much. Service is also very prompt. It’s also a lovely place to dine whether you are with a large group of friends or are alone. Try Thai Racha! Yum!

This place has decent food, not the best I’ve had, not the worst. Our family eats a lot of vegetarian /vegan dishes and this place accommodates us. We enjoy the noodle dishes, summer rolls, and Tom Kah. Curries are decent as well — good spice. What kills this place is the service. Regardless if we eat in, or take out. Expect a wait, expect mistakes. If they tell you your order will be ready in 20 minutes, comes in 60 minutes so you only wait 10 more minutes! Yes, I’m serious. We have even gotten the wrong food a number of times. Check your order. Just tonight, we ordered some noodles as soon as we walked in the door for the kiddos, so they would have food ASAP. Told the other waiter the same thing. Nothing. The adults got their food, still no noodles. Balls… 3 stars because the food is decent 100% of the time 50% of the time — the service is dependably poor 100% of the time. :-)

I don’t leave bad reviews unless it is really bad. Food tastes like it was cooked sometime this week… not at al fresh. I have two stars instead of one because the service was fast and friendly.

Worst… Thai… Ever Bad service, bland food, bland atmosphere. If you think this is good Thai this is probably the only Thai you have ever had.

My daughter and a couple of friends recommended this place, so we came by on a Wednesday night. Atmosphere: rather tacky, including glasses with ads on them. That and ads on the tablecloths always turn me off. Service: The one girl serving tables and cashiering was working her butt off. She really needed some help but did the best she could. Food: We started with the spring rolls with pork — they bring you a ton of these tasty rolls. I had the beef dish with cucumbers and my wife had a curry dish. Both were good, though my dish was a little on the sweet side for me. We also split a bowl of the tom yum gai soup, which was excellent. It was one of the cold nights when everyone’s allergies were acting up and the soup was just what we needed to clear up our heads. While I didn’t care for the atmosphere, the soup was good enough my wife picked up some on the way home the next evening — both the tom yum gai and the version with the coconut milk. The soup just wasn’t as good the second night, with large chunks of inedible lemongrass and roots. And they charged a lot more for carryout — not sure if they made a mistake or the price is different. On the menu, a large soup was somewhere around $ 10, but we got charged $ 14 for each one. I’ve heard from other people since that Thai Racha is very inconsistent. It’s the only place in New Braunfels but since we live in Schertz, there are other places just as close for us that are more consistent.

Food was OK. Service was OK. Not the most professionally run place. Might come back, might not.

We ordered shrimp tom yum, which came out cold so we had to wait until the burner heated up the soup. It would have been better if the soup was already warmed up. The soup tasted sour at first, but later it turned bitter. A little weird, I thought. We also ordered yellow curry(it was okay), chicken red curry(also okay), fried fish on spicy sauce(seemed like they used old oil to fry the fish), and papaya salad(special order, not on the menu). I enjoyed the papaya salad the most. Overall, the food wasn’t bad, but I have eaten better Thai food.
