Unless you are looking for party central from breakfast until bedtime don’t take your family here or expect any peace and quiet at all! There were a group of campers who set up huge party speakers with very heavy bass sound. They came in on Thursday and Monday they are still going strong with music so loud we could hear it and feel it through our RV where we were in the next camp! Their management did nothing about it. Made our Labor Day a miserable experience. Never again!

Booked a site weeks in advance and had to cancel a couple of days later. They charged me $ 40 to do so knowing full well that they had plenty of time to get the site re-booked. I paid the price, now their paying with one star.

We stayed here over the Easter weekend with some friends(they had an RV… and that’s the only way I want to camp from now on). The campgrounds are simple, with water and electric hookups(I would have given the campground 4 stars but there were no sewer hookups). Our site was right on the river, and we were provided with a picnic table, fire pit and firewood for $ 5 a cord. The campsite has bathrooms with showers, but be warned: take a shower early, or be prepared for a long wait. Jot water costs 50 cents for 7 minutes, too. Our RV had a shower and toilet but with the aforementioned lack of sewage hookups, we couldn’t use them. The bathrooms did get a little raunchy as the day progressed and there was no toilet paper after 8 pm. Other than that, it was quiet, well-maintained(campsite garbage pickup) and clean. It costs around $ 60/night(they charge per person — there were 6 of us) and they allow pets. We will definitely be back in the summer!
