Of all the ER’s I have ever been to this was the most amazing experience. The nurses and my doctor were so friendly and professional. They took the time to really listen to me and were very thorough in their exam/procedure. They genuinely seemed like they cared and I was treated with respect. I will always go back here if I have any kind of emergency.

BEWARE!!! I took my husband to the ER at Resolute Hospital on opening day. Eleven months after the visit we received the EOB from the insurance company showing that I owe $ 6890 to the hospital. I have also received a bill from the physician that was on duty stating I owe $ 898. My max out of pocket is $ 2500 with my insurance. I work for the insurance company, and fully understand my benefits and how they work. The problem is that the hospital lied to me stating that they were in network with Cigna. The were NOT. The hospital keeps giving me the run around and keeps reassuring me that they were in network. I have been going back and forth with the hospital and billing for over a month now with no resolution. They continue to promise to look into the matter and call me back, but never do. The website for the hospital now states they are working through getting credentials with the insurance companies. The credentials and network contracts should have been in place before they opened their doors, or they should have provided correct information regarding their network status.

Our lack of epic travel plans for Fourth of July weekend led to a last minute decision to load up our bikes and head to Texas Hill Country for four days of riding. Eight miles into day one, I flew over my handlebars on a downhill and tore off a substantial chunk of my knee. My friend dragged me to the car, put me inside, told me NOT to look down at my knee and(much to my protest) informed me that we were going straight to urgent care. There was a two hour wait at the first clinic where we stopped — apparently a lot of people get injured on holidays; imagine that. Just when I’d started to convince my friend that he could probably clean the wounds up for me, we saw a sign for Resolute Health and pulled in. I hobbled through the door and three people immediately greeted me with smiles and put me in a wheelchair. I told them that I didn’t have my insurance card and they waved it off and said I’d be billed later. After taking my vitals, they wheeled me to a room and helped me into the bed. Four more people, including the doctor, came to see me within minutes, all of them friendly, funny, and sympathetic. They overheard us expressing mutual distress over missing the World Cup game and put it on TV for us as they fixed me up. They then gave me a tetanus shot, showed us how to change the dressing on my knee, prescribed pain killers, and even gave me gauze, sterile water, and bandages to take home. Resolute Health is not your typical urgent care clinic(and I’m slightly accident prone so I’ve been to a few). They went above and beyond in providing fast and friendly service. Turns out that they’d just opened ten days prior, but everything ran so smoothly you’d think they had been practicing for years. Thank you for the excellent experience!
