It just okay. It is not made on site. It is purchased and resold from a vendor. It is super pricey and the shop has no seating for families. The owner is friendly. Your better off going to HEB and buying bluebell.

Eh, gets one stars because it gelato. Gets one star because it’s good gelato. And looses two stars for not being homemade gelato/exclusive gelato. Nothing oMGinal about this place Not much more to talk about.

I love small business but not small portions. The first red flag was watching them serve the customer in front of me. Their cups are comparable, but whereas most gelato places will mound the deliciousness on top, this place LEVELS it out. Not cool. Second red flag… price point. I have never seen what amounts to a small round scoop of ice cream be $ 4.75, but thats where their smalls start. A large is close to $ 7 but even that portion is more like a medium at other places. They use cuvee coffee and serve afagato which is my favorite way to eat gelato. So i was excited at $ 6.50 after tax i figured the afagato portion with expesso would be on par. NOT! The expresso machine is clearly not cleaned between uses and there is a single shot with a small level cup of gelato to make a $ 7 afagato, YIKES! I feel it is a bit pretentious to use a small gelato cup just to measure out an amount then transfer it to a large gelato cup and throw the first one away. WASTE! Cant you be a little more flexable? Im pretty sure $ 7 will cover it. The decore was minimal and customer service slight. So if your desparate, which you may well be as this is the only gelato shop in a 2 town radius, consider yourself informed. Peace

Nothing is better in the hot Texas sun than a little bit of ice cream. Unless there’s gelato, which rates second-highest on my list of frozen milk-based desserts(the top spot goes to the frozen custard of the Midwest). OMGelato isn’t particularly fancy, instead choosing only to focus on the gelato and maybe a little bit of coffee. This rendition of pistachio was among the best I’ve had if only because the amount of nuts was exceedingly generous. Continuing with the nut theme, the butter pecan had some kind of caramel swirl and a nice roasted flavor to the nuts that I thoroughly enjoyed. I can’t imagine owning a gelateria is difficult work because you’d have to be some kind of monster to not like ice cream, but in any case OMGelato is a surefire hit when you’re hanging out in New Braunfels.

Great great flavors & the manger is so kind. A little pricey. I think it’s like $ 4 for a little cup. But it is locally owned. :) Great atmosphere!

Yummy, yummy but only 9 flavors of gelato and 4 soebetto. Such friendly service and a lot of free tastes. We can recommend chocolate and coconut, salted caramel, and the mascarpone and berries. Cute little place.

Great gelato and customer service but needs to be consistent with hours of operation. The last few times I have tried to go in there with my family they have been closed when their hour say they should be open. I appreciate the mission of bringing more family friendly things to the circle but if you want to continue you have to be consistent in those families knowing you will be there.

So, so happy this place has opened in downtown New Braunfels. We need more family oriented places downtown besides bars. Don’t get me wrong, I love the bar scene downtown but in the daytime this is a great place. 2Tarts is open and now another dessert alternative. Gelato is wonderful and so many varieties: pistachio, cookies and cream, regular and newer flavored that change often. My favs are their sorbets! They will even do a half and half or lemon and raspberry! Michelle is wonderful! They don’t accept tips but I wish they would. She deserves them tenfold. Support small businesses!

I love gelato and this place did not disappoint. It just opened up in downtown New Braunfels, so parking can be a bit of a hassle but it’s totally worth it! The flavors range from classic to unique and even include a few sorbet options as well. Service was spot-on and the shop’s interior is amazing! I had a small cup of one scoop each of salted caramel and Nutella, and it was PERFECT! The shop owner let me try a few samples until I found the right combo which is a plus because I can be quite indecisive. I’ll definitely be back!
