Great place to have a beer and meet locals and visitors alike. Small operation with good brews and a fun crew. Walk on in and enjoy the convo and a pint. Don forget your growler and fill it up.

Phenomenal service, staff is extremely friendly and knowledgable! They have great beers and good vibes! Go to two tarts first and get a peanut butter cookie then at the brewery get the dunkel and dunk away, it will blow your mind! They serve delicious sours as well – which are my fav!

Baby Brewery of Quality and Delight I’d like to say this is the perfect dive to spend some great relaxy escape time because this place has all the perfect elements of a comforting dive bar(cozy, welcoming, quaint nice and easy and fun as hell) but is decked out very nice and pretty so I’d call this a Posh Dive Bar Brewery. Yes 5stars of delicious suds. All top notch quality. Impress your friends or woo some opposite sex by taking them here for good times! All the beers I tasted I would buy in a store.

Excellent beer, and great service! Staff was extremely friendly and knowledgable: the epitome of Texas hospitality. Having been to so many craft breweries is the Austin/Hill Country/San Antonio region– I would have to say this is one of the best!

Downtown for pizza and dessert when we saw the sign for NBBC and glad we did. It’s a small taproom but nice with a super nice staff. I had the Erdeweiss( ) and liked it. It had a nice smoky flavor, excellent tan head, and was quite refreshing. I asked where the patio was and the taproom guy took me, my wife, and two kids out through the brew room. We talked a bit about the process, equipment, and philosophy of the brewer. It’s a small operation that focuses on wheat beers, sours, and barrel aging. Basically they want to make a line that isn’t readily available and they hit that one well. Everyone seems to be having fun, and who wouldn’t? Stop by for a beer, growler to go, or good beer conversation.

This place is a great place to grab a beer in New Braunfels! Great staff, cool downtown atmosphere, and excellent craft beers! Nothing beats the buzz of a pint of Shiva’s Tears! You’ve got to check it out and sample a flight of all their beers.

Almost dead center in the middle of downtown, New Braunfels Brewing is a great brewery with excellent beer and a nice taproom. The beer here is a little different. They want to be able to brew true Texas beer, using at least 85% Texas ingredients. Since there’s no barley in Texas, their beer is wheat-based. While I’m not a big fan of wheat beer, their beer is excellent. Their base beers are elementally themed — luft, feur, erde, wasser, and himmel. My favorite among these is the erdeweiss, a take on dunkelweizen — it’s dark and rich, much like a stout. There’s always something different on tap in the tap room, though. Shiva’s Tear, a coffee dunkel, has become popular enough where other bars are now requesting it. Hot Chld is infused with cucumbers and jalapenos; I wish they would bottle this one so I could take it to the beach. I’d have to back to my Untappd list to name all the different beers I’ve tried, so I’ll leave it off here. Last night, I tried Señor Sauced Feur — gjost pepper-infused Feurweiss. This was hot! But it’s the most drinkable and best tasting chile beer I’ve tried. I also had their taste batch of Otono, a spiced pumpkin wheat ale. Light, refreshing, and perfect for our warm falls here.

We had an accidental run in with this brewery. We happened to spot it as we were getting out of our vehicle on our way to another place. The open sign was calling us, and for it being past 8:00, finding a brewery open that late is unique. The tasting room is fairly small with a few bar stools and a bench in the brewing room. They invited me to go in the brew room to take pictures. These brewers are some of the nicest we’ve met so far. Great company and conversation. They even recommended some other local businesses, which I now have bookmarked. The beer: they specialize in wheat beer. That’s not typically the style of beer I enjoy, but I did find one called the«Hot Child” — a cucumber and jalapeño infused beer. We only had time to have one beer as their tasting room closes at 9:00. Currently their tasting room is open Thursday-Friday 5−9pm. I hope to see these guys at Wurstfest someday.
