5STARS! Way more selection than Men’s Warehouse, I choose this company after going to another tux rental place in New Braunfels. I also visited a Men’s Warehouse because they have locations all over Texas but their selection at Men’s Warehouse sucked only offering four options. At Celebrations they have every tux under the sun. From camo to vintage you will find what you want. The ladies there took great notes, sized me up quick and offered my six tux free for my wedding party. They have new grey shoes available which went great with our light and dark grey tuxes. During the process they would call and call my groomsmen reminding them to get their measurements in and pay on time. That was good because I didn’t have the time to micromanage my groomsmen. Their prices were cheaper than men’s warehouse by about 20%. If need be they can get last minute tuxes at their warehouse down the street which is good. WHY? Read on… They did such a great job with my wedding that I used them for a Christmas event the following week. I needed a tux last minute, a vintage style with coat tails and a top hat. I called them the day before, yikes! They got it to me that very next day by lunch time. WOW! But here’s the deal, I was running late for my event, I was the gate keeper at the Sights & Sounds of Christmas in San Marcos. I opted not to try it on because they got my measurements right for my wedding so I thought surely I was good. Oh Uh! The warehouse wrote down the wrong coat and vest measurements during the rush order. It didn’t fit! It was 2hrs before the event and I was already in San Marcos. I called Heather at Celebrations and told her the bad news. This was on a Wednesday at 4:30pm. She called her warehouse in Seguin and they hand delivered my right coat and vest to my event within one hour. WOW! Now that is service! I highly recommend Celebrations!

We live in San Antonio but drove the short drive out here to buy a prom dress. We went in on a Saturday during the beginning of prom season. They were very busy but accommodating. We wanted to be left alone and kind of do our own thing and the staff was obliging. They helped when we needed it but gave us plenty of space. It was near closing time but we did not feel hurried by them at all. They had a nice selection of prom dresses. Lots of modest choices. I would like to see them carry more of the fitted style dresses. We ended up finding a dress. High end dresses usually need length alterations. We made an appointment and came back to meet with their in house seamstress. If I remember correctly, she is not employed by the store, but her own business within the store. I think this helps the store protect themselves from unhappy clients holding them accountable if the seamstress makes a mistake. I believe this is standard practice. The seamstress pinned my daughters dress to the length it would be hemmed. I explained to her that I wanted it a little longer but she hemmed it right at floor level. She reassured me that she understood what I wanted. When I picked the dress up later she had hemmed it at the pinned length. I should have made her re pin it like my gut told me to. It looked okay but was not the length I had hoped for, so beware and make sure the seamstress understands exactly what you want. Because of my experience with the seamstress, the tight quarters of this very busy shop, I give them a 4 star. I will look there again for future prom dresses but go early in the«season» and possible a weekday.

I went to Celebrations looking for a prom dress because last year I found my dress there. DONOT go on Saturdays! The place is not that big and it was really crowded looking for a dress and trying on dresses. The staff is okay. I was never asked if I needed any help, but the store was pretty busy, so I guess that’s understandable. I didn’t think the prom dress selection was that great(last year I visited 3 times before I found my dress), so I left empty handed. For people living in the area, I would recommended stopping by for a look, but I would not encourage anyone to drive from out of town for this place.

I am having my wedding in New Braunfels this October but live out of town. On one of my visits, I decided to stop there and take a look at their jewelry and headpieces. The lady was kinda snooty when I walked in but once I told her what I was looking for, she was helpful. She took her time and answered all my questions. She did seem a little put out and it may have been that I didn’t make an appointment but I was on the way out of town and stopped on a whim. Long story short, I found some earrings and a headpiece/brooch that I ordered. I was able to order these pieces over the phone once I made up my mind about them. As soon as they came in, they called me. They were even going to ship them to me(of course at cost to me) but I was able to have my sister pick them up.(She lives in Canyon Lake). I’m satisfied with what I ordered and with the service there. I can’t speak for anything else though.

I had my heart set on a particular wedding dress and wanted to try it on, but many of the stores in my part of Texas did not have it. I called Celebrations to see if I could try on a similar dress just so I could get an idea of how it would look on me and if the silhouette would work. Knowing that I had another dress in mind, bridal consultant Heather was able to schedule me an appointment without any problems. I came in a bit early and waited until my appointment time and was immediately taken to the fitting room by Heather. Although she knew I wasn’t going to purchase the dress there, she was so nice and helpful and put me in a very similar dress by Casablanca. She pinned me into the dress and I was able to get a really good idea of how the other dress would look on me. I was really happy that she did not try to sway me in another direction or try to persuade me to purchase the dress I had on. Usually, in that situation, I feel as though the bridal consultants would really try to get you to buy from their store. I really appreciated the fact that she was not pushy, then again, I was upfront when I made the appointment about what I was coming there to do. Anyway, the dress I tried on was very beautiful. The price points of their wedding dresses seem very reasonable. According to their website, it says their dresses range from $ 500 — 1100. So if you are a budget conscious bride, I’d say this is the place to go! Minus one star for not carrying some higher end names. I really wish I could have tried on THE dress, but, I can order it with confidence because Heather was able to work with what they had in the store and put me in a similar gown. I just wish they had a few more luxurious gowns or at the very least a sample from a couple more designers because I found that I did not like the material of the dress I tried on. I recommend this store to others because the people here were so nice and helpful. I think the key to having a good experience is to be realistic and upfront about your expectations when you call to make your appointment. Though I am not buying my dress from this store, I would certainly consider getting bridesmaid dresses or tuxes from here.

So at first was really happy with the shop. I paid an extra $ 125 to have my dress shipped quickly. I was told six weeks. 12 weeks later I had a dress. I only had 8 days before my wedding. They could not do the alterations that quickly. I had to find another shop to do the alterations. When I went to pick up the dress the girls were not as friendly. I don’t know if it is because I called every week wondering where my dress was or they just now had the money so they don’t need to be friendly. I still love my dress and doubt I could find it for the same price anywhere else but I am unhappy with the customer service. I was told many times it was not their fault the dress was taking so long. It was because I had made customizations. It was the designer. Well, I only made those because I was told that they were no big deal. For all the stress not having a dress until 8 days before my wedding caused I would probably have not bought that dress. I would have probably continue to try on dresses. I also did not consider the fact that it take 3 hours total to get there from Austin. For all the fittings, etc you will have to do probably not work the great price. You will spend it in gas.
