Arlans Market

Went there this weekend and grabbed some chicken breast when I got home I opened it and the smell almost knocked me down. Package said it expired 33 days from the day I purchased it. I called them to express my consern so no one would eat and get sick by their rancid meat. Not ever going there again

Arlans is like a step back in time way before big supermarket giants like HEB and Walmart existed. Even the building looks like it’s from the 50’s, but step into Arlan’s and you find a good choice of produce that has got to be the best price in town. Yes, something’s are much more than you would pay compared to the big chains– it’s all about knowing your prices. But you can find a Deli with Boars head meats & cheeses, along with a small wine selection. The have a small bakery case with pan dulce (my fav). Arlans is by Sclitterbahn and Landa Park so if you forgot a few things you can pick them up here and get out quicker than you would any market.
