Decent adult food. Prices are decent except for charging $ 3 for fountain soda. Service was decent. My only gripe is with kids meals. DONOTORDER the Mac-n-cheese from kids menu. For $ 4 you get about 15¢ worth of Kraft macaroni(the stuff that is a buck a box at the supermarket and isn’t all that tasty).

This used to be our favorite Thursday night restaurant. Now gunna look elsewhere. Now they limit how much ranch to dip your wings in(small cup for about every 15 wings) and servers are getting worse each trip. Quality of food has also gone downhill(used to get wings covered with sauce. Good luck if half the wings get sauce on them) Watch out for Lynn. We ate here a lot with no problems taking our uneaten wings home till we ran into Lynn who said we weren’t allowed to. Can understand if we reordered several orders but it was 3 wings and some fries. Enjoy that tip Lynn.

I have been here many times over the years. Gone downhill a lot. It is easy to understand the bankruptcy. 3 easy ways to ruin your restaurant. 1. Cost reduce your food. Buy cheaper ingredients. 2. Cost reduce your food. Smaller portions. 3. Constantly change and switch up your menu. And when you do, raise your prices.

Disappointed with both meals I’ve eaten here. Was really hoping this place would be better.

This place is so much better than you would expect. I was not from the area and found this place on Unilocal, and it turned out to be very good!

First time eating here. I would give more stars but the service was awful! As a previous server and current bar tender, Our server, «princess» aka Abby, was the absolute worst. The moment you ask for something, she would turn around and forget, grab her coffee cup, or come back from around the corner with a mouth full of food. I will come back because the wings are good but I’ll make sure to definitely not sit any where near her section. As a matter of fact, she should be fired! I think I’ll tell the manager of this horrible service.

Came here for lunch with my family. First time here. Fast service. Hospital clean establishment. Welcoming staff. Perfectly cooked meals. Good was quality. Salad was perfect. Beer selection encompasses light medium and dark beers. I’ll be back. !!

Two visits. Both were enjoyable. Good food, good service. Would recommend for families. Would return. Liked the burgers and the fish tacos! Only detractor was that I paid for an upgrade of onion rings and only got 3 rings, I probably didn’t need them anyway.

Had a bad experience at Quaker steak and lube a few weeks ago. I wrote a review and was contacted by management. They offered a gift however we did not accept. We decided to give them another chance. Wished we hadn’t. We actually did get a beer, but then waited to order. When we left, while our original bartender wss eating we paid the bill and went to leave only to have a new bartender tell us that after 30 minutes of us finishing our last beer(they were to lazy to update our bill) so embarrassing us in front of other customers she said we owed for 2 more beers. again I wish we could give a negative rating WILLNEVERGOBACK

Really nice people, decent food, and a good variety of wings’ sauces including«dusted», which I thoroughly enjoy compared to messy sauces. During numerous lunch and dinner services I’ve had genuinely happy helpful servers. Why? The place has many special shindigs to bring in bikers, sport fans, and car buffs whom I believe tip better than your normal chain and Wisconsin customers. Food wise, what matters most is that it’s better than BW3s in the wing chain war. Eat on Tuesday or Thursday currently if want them at a better price. I also think it’s more consistent than other casual dinning chains, not that Tumbleweed which located at this spot was bad(and had cheaper huge beers). Hopefully this place survives instead of becoming an Applebee’s. Much prefer Quaker’s steamed broccoli side.

Gf surprised me and took me here(even though I drove) for dinner. She knew I wanted to go here. We started with the Pretzel Apps that came with a really good sauce(forgot the name). I had a mac n cheese burger which was outstanding! Fries were fries but the gf really enjoyed the wings she got. We joined their club and will probably go there every so often. It just sucks that that’s the closest location to us. They should open one up in MKE!

I’m pretty impressed. I thought it would be a typical wing type of joint but the menu has more options. I had a wrap and it was great. The kids had wings and pizza and they had a ball looking at all the stuff on the walls and tvs. It’s a little loud but no more than any other type of restaurant. The price was right, the food was good and the kids were happy. Not much else you can ask for.

Have you ever had an impromptu lunch totally predicated on the«telephone game»? Let me explain– My buddy and I were knocking out a few rounds of disc golf at nearby Valley View Park when we worked up quite a thirst. We decided to grab some drinks at the gas station next to Quaker Steak. As we are walking out, my buddy asked if I’ve ever ate there. I told him I hadn’t, but I had some friends who said the wings were good. Well he told me he had some friends who didn’t like the wings but they liked the burgers, so from that we decided to have a burger lunch here. My initial impression walking in the door was that Larry the Cable Guy decided to get in the restaurant business and couldn’t decide if he liked BW3’s or Steak ‘n Shake more, so he combined the two and decorated it like his man cave. I promise, that’s the last mention of Larry the Cable Guy I’ll ever make on Unilocal(fingers crossed). Since I have the tendency to throw my discs into the swamps of Valley View Park rather than the fairways they belong in, I wanted to wash up. I enter the bathroom, which just so happens to be lined with pictures of scantily clad women strewed all across the walls. This peaked my interest right away, until I remembered that this place has«Lube» in its name, and then I recoil in terror thinking about what could be going on in that bathroom. I washed my hands a second time and opened the door with my foot. Okay, enough funny(or not so funny) business, let’s get down to brass tacks. My buddy asks the hostess if we could get a to go order, since we just wanted to scarf down a couple burgers in the car and get back to throwing. She tells us «Sure, just go up to the bar and make your order there.» Cool. We walk up to the bar, the lady tending asks us if we want a drink. We say no, we just want to make a to go order. She says«Okay, just give me a minute to serve these customers». She grabs three beers and we don’t see her for ten minutes. I manage to wrangle up a couple menus for us in the meantime and she finally comes back and takes our order. I ask her if I can get a Q burger with no fries or sides, she says no. Okay, it’s really no big deal, but when I tell her I only want a single patty on my burger, it’s like she doesn’t believe me. I’m trying not to overeat lady! Have you seen the conditions of the porter potties at a disc golf course? I finally get my order pushed through, and hey, here’s another 15 minutes of waiting… I’ll say this, the price is right, but I’ll gladly pay more for a better burger. Or quicker service even. I get my Q Burger, and from the vague description, I’m guessing it was supposed to be something like a Big Mac with the special sauce but it ended up being like a school cafeteria cheeseburger with no flavor and no charming lunch lady in a hairnet. The fries tasted like undercooked store brand fries that were cooked in an oven. Speaking of undercooked, my buddy got a Lube Burger and in an absolute first, I seen someone pull bacon off a burger. It wasn’t crispy and as a matter of fact, it was barely brown. How do you mess up cooking bacon? The patio is nice if you like scenic views of big box stores, strip malls and major interstates. I should have just read Unilocal before walking in…

I am always very satisfied with the wings.(Boom Boom sauce FTW) On occasion I find them a little over sauced. I might start just ordering my sauce options on the side. Always a menu of fun drinks. Service never seems very personal. Which isn’t very fun for a dining experience. They never offer water. If your guests are eating wings they may need a glass of water to chase them down. The summer is always nice to sit at the bar when they open the garage doors.

I live near by and feel lucky I do. It almost feels like a franchise because it’s like a well oiled machine. It’s very clean but comfortable. Food is consistently great. The atmosphere is always cool. The service is above average. It is a well managed place. Keep up the good work guys!

Quaker Steak and Lube is a unique, car themed restaurant chain. I have been here a few times, and have always had a good experience. The staff is pleasant and makes sure you’re taken care of. The restaurant is spacious, especially in the bar area. There is a lot of neat car memoribillia on the walls, and there’s even a car that’s up on a rack in the dining room! Quaker Steak and Lube is known for their chicken wings(which are excellent), but they also have lots of other things to choose from. Burgers, ribs, seafood, steak and more: there’s plenty to choose from. I have always enjoyed the food here. My personal favorite are the boneless wings. You can order your wings with one of their many sauces on them. They range in spiciness from mild all the way up to atomic, with many flavors to choose from. They also have a list of wheat and gluten free options that they offer. I think this is very thoughtful of them to do.

Stopped in while staying next door. I’ve been to this restaurant before so I knew what I was walking into however the two regulars«discretely» discussing how the bartender really needed a spanking was not quite what I remembered but I digress. Opted for a lighter menu option in the Asian Chicken Bowl and went for the Thai’R’Cracker for a spicier sauce. It was tasty; full of broccoli, carrots and rice. The grilled chicken was a nice change of pace from the deep fried wings. According to the Internet, which never lies, it’s only about 670 calories. I would recommend it, sauces are similar but slightly different from BDubbs but could fall under the same slogan«Wings, Beer, Sports» and add car puns to everything on the menu.

Descriptive phrase: unique outdoor patio happy hour. We stopped in around 4PM on a Friday afternoon for a quick happy hour drink at Quaker Steak & Lube. They have a few garage doors that open up onto their parking lot with a bar and seating inside. It’s nicer than it sounds. Our happy hour specials knocked our pints of Sam Adam’s Summer Ales down about $ 0.75 each to $ 5, and we ordered some Lube Chips($ 3.50) as well. We got a sizable portion of crispy and thick pub chips with a small cup of what was supposed to be Guinness beer cheese. The cheese wasn’t bad but was obviously microwaved, and there was’t enough. Not a bad place to stop for a drink. And I have to mention that our server, Jill, was fantastic.
