This is a very friendly staff that makes you feel as though you’re a part of an extended family. I started going to this Smart Style Salon after moving from home to go to college about three years ago and found this one to be my favorite place to go for a good cut!
They’re attentive to your needs and recommend what you need to get the do that you’re shooting for.
Recently, I decided to go for a modern pompadour. (Something I’ve never done before, and note that my hair hasn’t been more than 2 inches long for almost a decade.) The pompadour included the undercut which makes it pretty extreme and definite (you can google it); however, my stylist talked me out of it and encouraged her method of blending and other techniques. I couldn’t have been more thankful for her words of wisdom. She nailed the look I was cooking up in my mind. She explained that with my hair type, cow-​lick, and style preferences that this was the way to go. She couldn’t have been more right!
Some words of wisdom of my own are to try all the stylists there at least once. Each of them have their own style and ways of doing things which can match your tastes in particular. Then you can be sure to know which one you like best to do your do.
In conclusion (you can tell I’m in college), I highly recommend giving this salon a go. Friendly staff, excellent services, and walking out with some confidence — what else do you need?
