Their pizza is always so fresh and delicious. We get it to go when we are at the beach visiting our grandparents, and usually when you take something to blow you miss out on the intentional flavor, however I have never been disappointed and any pizza I have ever gone and taken home to eat. That’s is a lot about the quality of their product and their ingredients

Loved this place! Was staying in Rockaway, and asked some shop owners for pizza recommendation in the area, three said to drive up here so we did. Only 10 minutes or so and well worth it. Lovely place, very clean and well cared for, right on the river with outside seating in good weather. The menu is sensitive to vegetarian and vegan and gluten free! Lovely salad and thin crust was perfect. DELISH. Offers beer and wine and the deserts looked great, but was too full to indulge, this time. Definitely adding this place to my favs list for the north coast. Nehalem is quite charming.

I’ve eaten here twice and had take out once. A large selection of toppings, the option to build your own pizza, veggie options, thin or regular crust. Attentive staff. They do a great Pizza, but that’s not all, they also have a menu of Italian food and here’s the bonus — Ice cream, made on the premises ice cream. The interior is folksy with lots of plants, but outside is a wonderful deck where you can sit, eat and drink while looking at the river admiring the wildlife and watching the fisherman, boaters and kayakers going by. They also do delivery to Nehalem, Wheeler and Manzanita.

Very good! Service was a bit slow, but it was well worth the wait for pizza. Will have to return to try their pastas. Try to go here on a nice day, they have a full deck that looks over the river. You can enjoy your food and watch ducks or fishermen float by.

This was our first, but certainly not our last visit. We were greeted by very friendly and outgoing young woman(who’s name I forgot to get). I am a traditionalist when it comes to pizza, but she blew my mind when she said Philly cheese steak pizza. I figured, hey, it’s just one meal, right? Wow, what a pizza! Glad I had some to bring home. Hubby was pleased with his vegan special as well. I had to try the Marion berry cobbler, it was perfection! Not overly sweet, I really enjoyed the flavor. The customers we met were just as friendly as could be. There are many beautiful plants and big CLEAN windows to watch the birds, river and rain. We have a new favorite!

Amazing pizza and great service! I read the reviews before we came and was pleased that the prior great reviews were correct. The Pizza Garden is a quaint restaurant by the river with amazing pizza. We ordered a gluten free crust pizza and also had the option of vegan choices and dairy free cheese, a great find in a small town! My kids chowed on their half cheese and half pepperoni on the thicker regular crust. This better than a lot of pizzerias in Seattle! Will definitely come back!

This is my favorite place on the coast. The Greek pizza is amazing. The appetizers are great as well. I really love the breadsticks. I’ve had the lasagna before, too. Pretty much everything is fantastic.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been excited about a pizza place but this is not just a pizza place. They have homemade ice cream homemade soups and scratch ingredients which make for amazing flavor We prdered the Thai Pizza, which was excellent. Sampled the lentil sausage soup which was divine. You can tell that this food is made with love. If I’m ever back here I will definitely be going to this Garden Pizza 4 a meal. In badd form I did not have my phone with me as we had just spent an hour on a soaking wet rainy Beach so I don’t have any pictures to share. but I would give them 6 Stars if I could.

Great FIND! We had a great and relaxing dinner in Nehalem! I ordered the lasagna(the house special was hot chicken wing) and it was fantastic! The chicken was fresh and the flavoring was perfect! It was like hot chicken wings(to celebrate the super bowl) AND it was made with an alfredo base which matched perfectly for a great lasagna find. The house salad was fresh and homemade honey mustard dressing was great! The 10 inch four cheese pizza was GREAT! My husband considers himself an connoisseur of pizza and loved the pizza! The lasagna came with bread sticks that were fresh and I took my dessert home. I ordered a small portion of lasagna which was plenty! The pecan bar looks fantastic and smells wonderful. I ordered a glass of wine and received a FULL glass which was great! The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. The Pizza Garden was a great find!

This is a great find. They have fabulous pastas in addition to their pizza. Great service as well. We will only eat here when in the area.

We ate at this wonderful restaurant on a Friday night. We had the sausage pepperoni lasagna. It was FABULOUS. Had to go back Saturday and have it again. The service was friendly and efficient. We can’t wait to head back to the coast and have their sublime food.

Our server, Christina, was wonderful. She was happy, helpful and cheerfully went above and beyond the standard servers are expected to meet. South of the Border pizza is awesome! Beautiful view of the Nehalem River and outside seating. I enjoyed the tasty Marion Berry cobbler ala mode and my nephew devoured his brownie ala mode.

Pizza Garden is such a lovely place. Extremely friendly service. Affordable prices. Fresh Organic food that is not disgustingly heavy like most Italian restaurants. Humble patio with a beautiful view… I enjoyed watching one of the employees watering the plants and flowers. :)

On the Plus side : Great outside patio and views. Nice staff. Order the meatballs! Tasty and a good value! On the negative side: The Greek salad was not a good value at all! It was a shockingly small portion for $ 8…very little feta cheese and olives, a couple slivers of pepperoni peppers, no green/red peppers, no tomato, no cucumber and no bread. I also bought chicken breast to add to the salad for $ 2.50… I left hungry… Also, when the bill came in the«American Express check folder» we were told«we don’t accept American Express»! Why? Lazy? CHEAP?(It is laughable and it cheapens a place when A.E. Not accepted especially when A.E. gave the restaurant the check folder…)

OH. MY. GOD. I don’t scream for ice cream very much… but while doing a day trip to Manzanita, we really wanted a pizza place for dinner. With the local joint shut for the day(surprise, surprise)…we looked to Unilocal!for an answer. We found the Pizza Garden. I think I have found my new love for Oregon Pizza. We walked in and found a near empty restaurant(though I’m convinced that was a result of the time of year and time of day, not quality of product) and were seated immediately. Our waiter, who I want to say was named John(though I may be way off… and I apologize for that), was so accommodating, so friendly, and so congenial. I felt bad subjecting my fussy, hungry twin toddlers on him. We immediately ordered garlic bread so we could get some food into the boys and I heard him go back and call out for the order, asking for it to get up quickly to take care of some hungry boys. He returned immediately to get drink orders and our food. We ordered a regular crust large, half with sausage and pepperoni, the other half with pepperoni and pineapple. This is when it got interesting. Difficult Girlfriend: «Can I get, like, half of the half with goat cheese?» John: «Ummm…» Me: «So…I guess… like a quarter of the pepperoni and pineapple with it, I guess.» John: «Well…we usually do just halves…» DF: «It’d be nice to have something different… what?» Me: «:looking beleaguered… again:» DF: «What!?» Me: «It’ll just end up with goat cheese everywhere. But whatever…» John: «I can… do you want the half?» DF: «No…never mind.» Well, John came back about two minutes later and said, «I talked to the chef. She’ll work it out and throw on exactly a quarter’s worth of goat cheese on that section, and keep it from creeping over.» Not only did they do that, but they successfully kept it separated from the other bits That’s service. And(of course), the GF didn’t even eat any that night. But the garlic bread was awesome. The pizza was AMAZING. I didn’t experience any extended wait time that others have complained about, and always felt very well taken care of. I will gladly stop here for pizza anytime I am in that area, and would actually go out of my way to stop here, if possible. By far, this is one of my top three pizza joints in Oregon.

Great pizza! At first we walked in the door and felt really awkward. Standing there looking around waiting for something to happen. Eventually we were greeted and seated. Very accommodating to the toddler. After sitting down Frank Sinatra was followed by BB King on the overhead and I was ready to move in. I didn’t even look at the menu. I just lied, I was picking out my beer, but they only have like 3 to choose from. The wife chose our food, she said there were 3 sauces to choose from. A garlic sauce, a white sauce and a «rustica» sauce, if I recall the verbiage. The latter was a combination of the 2 prior. We ordered a pizza and a salad. The salad was a bit understated. I appreciate the spinach, as some places serve just iceberg and that’s it. There were hearts in the salad for texture but it lacked a little in effort. Some dried roasted tomatoes and some greek olives. The pizza came out eventually, but I wish they would have told us up front that they are made to order and thus it takes a bit longer because I would have saved myself so much anxious inner dialogue over what was about to happen on my plate and when. Normal pizza doesn’t take this long. But normal pizza is also not worth waiting for. First of all, my wife ordered the worlds smallest pizza. Her fault. The Guinness Book of World Records came and gave her a tiny ribbon. What pizza we did have was spectacular. Strong garlic flavor, and you could taste the spices. The first thing I noticed was that you could actually taste the fennel. It’s complex and robust. You can taste the quality of the individual ingredients. The place got 4 stars because the pizza sells itself. They deliver and I’d recommend that route for the same reasons they don’t get 5 stars. The entry to the facility isn’t inviting and it’s awkward without any signage asking you to wait to be seated or to seat yourself, as well as there not being a person to greet you. I would have been okay with a bell to ring, but standing there confused is unacceptable. The salad was meh. The beer menu looks like it was written in Utah where people don’t know what beer is for Oregonians who do. We got a rhubarb and peach cobbler for the road and it came in a paper boat like the ones they give you hotdogs in at the fair. It was mediocre and, like the pizza, very small. The pizza also came out searing hot. Another problem resolved with delivery. By the time it gets to your house, you no longer have to worry about the liquid hot cheese stuck to the roof of your mouth and boiling your brain through conduction heating. Your house also likely has a better beer selection, and if it doesn’t you have bigger problems than which pizza place to check out.

We visited this location in 2012, it was amazing. We were visiting family in Oregon, and took a scenic drive. We came across this place and decided to try it out. They had many options, and the Italian soda was fantastic, something you dont see everywhere. Service was fine, food came fast, view was fantastic, food was fabulous. They had so many options to chose from it was hard to make a choice because i wanted to have them all :) We are going to be driving up from Sacramento on our was to visit family again and will be stopping here on our way! I cant wait.
