Wow Julie glad to hear you had such a great experience because we had just the OPPOSITE with Safe Home Construction. In fact Gerry started with us in JUNE, came for a couple of weeks and disappeared. Yes, after numerous text message he gave us enough assurances that we let most of his excuses slide by. We had the same problems you had this past winter. Ice dams and damage to the outside and inside of our house. The crew removed all gutters and replaced with trim but the work was shoddy and incomplete. They never cleaned up after the days they were here at our house. Gerry supposedly had a family tragedy in early July and gave that as the reason why his workers couldn’t be at our house, apparently that didn’t stop his crew from being at your house. We had a list of projects for him besides replacing gutters and rotted wood but as of this date September 14 nothing else has been done and he has made NO attempt to finish what he started. The outside should have taken 2 – 3 weeks and now it’s been 2 –3 months. We have secured another contractor to finish the work.
Gerry’s company is the horror story you hear about bad construction companies. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND HIS COMPANY to anyone.

I was referred to Gerry Kenny from a friend who spoke highly of his work. I had water damage from this last winters storm, and needed someone urgently as water was dripping into my home.
Gerry came to assess the damage, and discuss the plan the very next day. I have had horrible experiences with contractors in the past, and I was very nervous about the amount of work that needed to be done, and how much of a mess my home would be.
From the very beginning, Gerry promptly answered all of my calls and texts within minutes. Work on my home began promptly and Gerry and his crew were nothing but kind, courteous and hard working. The most important and impressive effort was that at the end of each day a good hour was spent on cleaning. Not just removing debris or sweeping– but actually mopping, and putting all of my furniture back in the original space (as allowed) so my home was livable each evening after they left. I can’t say enough about how thorough the cleaning was, and how much this meant to me.
Gerry and his crew were in my home almost every day (even weekends) for over 2 months, Of course unless I told them I needed a break LOL. This meant Gerry and his crew were in my home even when I wasn’t there. Trust was never an issue, Gerry had the key to my home and worked around my schedule and needs.
I can’t possible say enough about the quality of work, the cleanliness, and the communication of this business. I did not know that contractors like this even existed!!! Gerry is very helpful with design choice, product selection, and a great resource for literally ANYTHING you need in your home– even snow removal. Which after last winter, he will be my first call!
