Charles river crunch is the best flavor around! Always friendly service. Peppermint stick is also fantastic. Portions are huge so order accordingly.

I ordered an ice cream cake for my son’s birthday. I have bought many cakes from Lizzy’s but have never asked for a design before. They did a construction site design that was beautiful. I must admit I was shocked that they charged me $ 15 for the design on top of an already pretty expensive cake(especially since the book of pictures said $ 8 and showed a larger cake), but the the cake was delicious, my son was thrilled at the digger and front loader, and all guests were thoroughly impressed with everyone asking me where I got the cake. I’ll order another for him next year. The location of the shop is also perfect. The whole family often bikes over, get’s ice creams, and enjoys it on the town common.

Great ice cream conveniently located. The service is OK, but it’s just high school kids so you can’t expect much. Either way, I’ll be back. Usually weekly.

Take home ice cream and yogurt quarts are great. They are $ 7.75 which is the cheapest around for quarts and they are packed so well! Try the Strawberry Banana Yogurt!

They have so many flavors to choose from and it’s reasonably priced! They also have ice cream cakes premade. You can also preorder ice cream cakes 3 days in advance. They have cute designs and you can pick 2 flavors for any size(smallest is 6″ I believe). Wicked yummy flavors! Even ones for adults(I.e. rum raisin and Bailey’s)

Went to Lizzie’s the other day as I often do to pick up quart of choc chip yummy ice cream. They didn’t have any in the freezer so they hand packed it for an extra $ 2. I objected saying that if they had it in the freezer I would have happily bought it but they didn’t. The response to my gentle complaint was a very disinterested«company policy.» If I wanted a company policy I would have gone to a grocery store. My little ice cream shop shouldn’t have company policies. So they got my $ 2 and lost me as a customer. Too bad the ice cream was good.

We went there after dinner since it was closer than our usual JP Licks. That won’t happen again. The price was ridiculous for 4 frozen yogurts. The guy behind the counter was not particularly friendly. Then we got home and had our yogurts-yuck. My son threw it out. Too bad because we love to support local businesses but it’s back to JP Licks.

Good Ice Cream, but the price is outrageous and the service is rather plain. The shop is rather bland. However, if you are willing to pay high prices for that amazing cone of chocolate ice cream this is the place for you!!! Everything said m, this is one of the best ice cream shops of the few in Needham.

I really enjoy the ice cream here, chocolate cookie dough? Yes please! The chocolate dipped waffle cone are also really tasty. My one complaint would be that they use the TINY chocolate chips in their mint coco chip ice cream, they get stuck in my teeth and are annoying to chew.

I would say better than average ice cream… try the«chocolate orgy» if you like chocolate! The girls working there not the friendliest when we went… but otherwise a good little place — when I grew up in needham, this used to be Baskin-Robbins! So I would say a step up from that.

Hmm. I like the Waltham one better, which means I’m psycho, because it must be the same ice cream, no? Got an icy batch. Not good. No little glass dishes. Maybe that’s it. Oh well, like I need more ice cream. Will save my dairy indulgences for Abbott’s.

Old fashioned ice cream on the town common in summer — doesn’t get any better!
