Peeps, peeps, and more peeps! I am not a fan of anything marshmallow other than rice crispy treats and peeps! This store has very friendly staff, think Disney cast member. A great variety of sweets including hot tamales and Mike and Ike’s. I bought a marshmallow scented plush for my daughter along with some special edition flavored peeps. They threw in a free gift bag and a some large smiles!

Bottom Line: Wall-to-wall Peeps, Peeps paraphernalia and other candy manufactured by Just Born, Inc. I don’t like Peeps. There garish colors and pure sugar aren’t appetizing to me and I don’t even like blowing them up in the microwave. With that, I went into Peeps to see how an entire store dedicated to Peeps stays in business. Well, its apparent to me that this place is making plenty of money as it was wall to wall people buying Peeps, Peeps logo items and other candy manufactured by Just Born, Inc. like Mike and Ike’s and Hot Tamales. I’m glad I finally went in here and checked this place out but once was enough for me!

Come on every one loves to see peeps! Not sure about eating to many of them. But love the make your own buckets of Mike and Ikes /Hot Tamales. Bring them back for cheap refills. Keep the kids in a candy coma while the adults go out to the bars!

Full Disclosure: I dislike(hate is a strong word) Peeps. I dislike marshmallows in general. I hate the texture, the flavor(or lack thereof)…“just don’t do it” sums it up for me to a tee. On the other hand, I love mike and Ike’s! They are my absolute favorite non-chocolate candy. The mike and Ike section is where I spent the majority of my time, and let me tell you, they had every flavor I have ever tried and several new(at least to me) flavors that I was able to sample. I noticed many people just dumping mike and Ike’s into bags and eating them, then just leaving the store. I wonder how they account for those types but I guess you get those anywhere it’s «help yourself» style. Anyways… they have a lot of Peeps paraphanelia and lots of different flavors too. Make sure you snap a photo in front of the Peep mobile before you leave! These kinds of places are pure tourist traps, and given the location(National Harbor) expect it to be jam packed on the weekends. It’s at least worth visiting if you’re not a fan of either candy just to get a cute picture!

Fun place to check out if you have some time to kill. They had Choco marshmallow chocolates to sample. Dark Choco one was pretty good! They had snacks there for sale, toys, plushies, writing utensils like pencils pens erasers, even dog and cat toys! Had a bunch of Mike and Ike stuff too. Fun place, friendly people!

Peeps fans won’t be disappointed! This store offers every imaginable Peeps confection, as well as Mike and Ike self-serve bars. They usually have a bowl filled with chocolate samples so yummy that I’ve thought about donning a disguise to go back for seconds! :) The store sells lots of cute merchandise: tee shirts, plush dolls, etc. Prices are a little higher than what you’ll pay at the grocery or Wal-Mart, but the store offers much more variety and is fun to visit.

Very weird store and most people don’t like peeps and don’t know they also own mike and Ike. It’s all the candy they have except for a few gummies and jelly beans. Most can be bought at grocery stores. Why make it three stars then? Just lots of toys and shirts and memorabilia so the kids liked it. You could get some interesting takes on the two aforementioned candies too. Just wish there was a full candy store in the area since this is a popular spot for kids at national harbor.

Peeps and Company is your normal tourist candy store. The store focuses mainly on Peeps, Mike and Ikes, and Hot Tamales. There’s some interactive buttons and stuff along the walls. Everything you could imagine they have here. Surprisingly, the prices aren’t too inflated. It’s just a couple pennies more than a normal chain store. The staff are friendly as well. Pretty good candy stop if you’re at the National Harbor.

Quaint shop that has everything Peeps-related, and I don’t even eat Peeps, but do purchase them for others in the family. However, some of the merchandise is very clever, from t-shirts to toys for the pets.

I hate Peeps. This place is ridiculous but that’s kind of the point of theme candy stores like this, and at least it does ridiculous right.

Every flavor of mike and Ike’s u can ever imagine alone with marshmallows. The service is wonderful and the store itself is very nice and clean it even allows you to sample before buying which is always great. Also if you let them know you work in the area you get a discount.

This place reminds me of the M&M store. I enjoyed looking at all of the Peep stuff. It was a bit pricey but it is a specialty store so it’s expected. They have everything you could think of with peeps on them including peeps to eat! I didn’t buy anything, the long line was not worth standing in for a keychain. I will be back to browse different items according to season.

A bit pricey for peeps but helps if you get the discounted stuff. There was a peppermint, candy cane, flavored peep that didn’t work well with my taste buds but the red velvet sure did. Nom-nom. They also sale small round balls of chocolate marshmallows too, picked up some too. I went in late in the evenings, not much of a crowd inside or long lines. Friendly staff too.

Peeps are my peeps! And this is such a cute store! The bf and I stopped in to this store as we waited for our table to be ready at Rosa Mexicano, where we had dinner. The store is well-organized and is a great tribute to those delicious, marshmallow-y sweets you eat around Easter time. They have a nice collection of Peeps of different colors. And my bf bought me a packet of purple peeps(oh, he knows me well) and it was just $ 2. The entire experience was entertaining, and there’s even a Peeps mobile right outside the store. Of course, I had to stop and take a picture with it :) What a cute idea, located conveniently in National Harbor. You really can’t miss it.

I actually don’t like Peeps at all, but this is such a cute store! Looking at their merchandise was entertaining. My younger cousins were really excited to go in and look around, which I thought was adorable. This store offers lots of different Peeps flavors that you can’t find elsewhere, according to my younger cousins. I think this is a great place to take kids or to go into just to look at cute stuff.

Why didn’t I think of selling tourists puffed dyed sugar treats and related merchandise for outrageous prices? All year round? I’m ashamed to have gone inside. Pricey crap.

What the hell??? Am I actually at a peep store? Holy shit I didn’t even know this shit exists… FYI I hate peeps… I think they taste like little marshmallows of yucks… don’t even know how people like these things… This place sells anything that is peep related… Peeps cups… peeps figurine… peeps toys… etc… Everything was overpriced and people were actually in here shopping there asses off… I saw this peep art work… All peep candies pasted on cardboard for eight hundred bucks. omg there’s so much wrong with this… –First of all cardboard should not cost eight hundred bucks… –The peep candies were just glue on to the carboraded nothing super special or out of ordinarily… any amateur can make this pieces of «art»… Long lines at check out… There was actually more adults shopping here then kids…

I’m not a huge fan of Peeps, but I just had to check this store out while I was at the Harbor. It’s somewhat hard to find(walk down the stairs once you see Bond 45) and you can’t miss it… especially since there’s a yellow VW bug outside with a ginormous Peep on top! I’ve never seen so many Peep items in my life! Regular Peeps, chocolate covered ones, stuffed toy Peeps, clothing, gifts, things for your office. Loved the«Chicks love me» onesie!!! They also had a whole wall of Mike & Ike candy where you can mix and match your favorites. The buckets of Peanut Chews were also tempting. If you love Peeps, you’ll definitely love this store!

When playing at National Harbor without children, I’ve found I’ve had the check a certain amount of cynicism at the proverbial door. After all, a lot of the activities are aimed at children. But there’s one stop that’s so over the top on the cute scale that any protection from my years of being a jaded city dweller gets penetrated and I turn into a big ball of awww — Peeps & Company! Everywhere one turns is something so adorable that might make Negative Neds and Nancies want to explode like a peeps in a microwave around Easter. Everywhere the ear turns are stuffed Peeps bunnies and ducks in every color of the rainbow(plus pink). T-shirts line the walls with adorable graphics and sayings(like a row of different colored peeps with«we’re all the same on the inside» written underneath). And they can be all purchased for about the going rate for T-shirts. It’s a holiday gift smörgåsbord if one has candy lovers on their list. And, of course, one can’t forget the actual candy. Before I stepped in here, I never knew how many flavors of Mike & Ike(and heat levels of Hot Tamales) existed. There are multiple lemonade flavor for Ike’s sakes! And free samples are available of each for the customer to discover their favorite(and then buy a pound of them for around $ 10.00). Only Peeps, Mike & Ike’s, and Hot Tamales are available, so it’s not a full candy store. But I still felt like a kid in one. I found it nearly impossible to walk out of here without three things: a grin, a pound of candy, and a plush toy. And few places I’ve ever been have had that effect on me.
