This review is for the Starbucks inside target, it was worst service ever in a Starbucks I ordered to begin 2 venti Carmel frap with extra caramel and they tell me they can’t give me extra Carmel because they where running out of caramel and can’t give me all of it, second they had no sleeves and I order apple spice hot I had to ask for a sleeve and they gave me attitude for it, the service was super slow, the fraps came out really watered down it was horrible this is the first and last visit to this Starbucks!

This location is located inside of target. Downstairs and away from the busy food court. It’s also hit or miss in regards to how busy they are, but most days they aren’t as busy as the upstairs location. The coffee, teas, drinks, food, and pastries are all the same. You get what you order at any other Starbucks. I have never received something I didn’t like, and whether it’s a hot or cold drink, the temperature has been on point. This location has plenty of seating and tables, and a window view looking into the mall. The service is ok, nothing special. I’ve come here many times and nothing stands out to be great or terrible. Just in the middle. The cleanliness of this place is also ok. Sometimes the tables need to be wiped down and other times they are spotless. Prices are also the same as any other location, average. Starbucks for me is a quick average drink, if u want good coffee, go somewhere else.

My group decided to meet in the mall since it was raining outside and I was happy to see Starbucks open when the rest of the mall was closed. With only a few mall walkers in sight, this location let me down big time. When there is only one customer there is no reason to get the order wrong. I mean, you have one job to do and that is to make one coffee. I ordered a soy caramel latte and silly me for not checking. I don’t order drinks with soy because I like to sound like a cool urban hipster. I order soy because I am lactose-freakin’ intolerant. So, thirty minutes later I began to realize my coffee was wrong when I was giving the porcelain god a blessing. Nothing says I am enjoying this meeting more by leaving half-way through it cause your stomach is on a roller coaster ride.

This is for the one inside of Target. It was early in the morning so I only saw one person making drinks and taking orders, but I didn’t have to wait long. I like extra caramel because the tiny drizzle is not enough for me but sometimes Starbucks baristas take it to the extreme. I could barely taste any of the drink and what I did taste was not that great. Another downside was, even though they don’t offer a Salted Caramel Frappuccino anymore, they offer a Salted Mocha, but they didn’t have salt. This is the first time I’ve asked about salt at this location but the same thing has happened a few times at other ones. Overall, the location is convenient, but my drink wasn’t the greatest.

Personally, I love Starbucks, and most of the locations I visit have great and fast service, but this is not one of them. There are literally 20 people waiting in line and the barista is taking all the time in the world to take the order, and just to top it off, the extra barista is cleaning the wall, where there are no stains, just so that they wouldn’t have to be taking the orders. So I really couldn’t stand going back there, it would take at least 15 minutes to get your order placed, and then another few to actually get your drink. really don’t recommend it):

Garbage. The employees here are not properly trained, this is apparent first hand. The person placing our order was either really stoned or a little«slow» because our order was simple but we had to repeat it at least three times so she understood. The only reaction we had was, «really? Did this just happen or is this some sort of prank??» I suggest going elsewhere and where’s a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf when you need one?

There were three people in front of me in line, yet somehow it took like ten minutes for me to get to the front. When I finally got there, I was ignored by the barista. I know cleaning the tables around the Starbucks kiosk is probably westfield’s rather than Starbucks employee’s, but the area had trash everywhere. My drink had like five ice cubes and no caramel drizzle. Worst Starbucks experience since one I was at in a gas station in Kansas.

Dirty! Tables are filthy and trash on the floor. They out of 5 different coffees and entirely out of all frappuccinos. My first, second and third choices were not available, so I did not purchase anything. Other people said that items are out if stock a lot too. Seems to be a management and/or proprietor issue.

There is significant difference in quality between the Starbucks employees inside Target, as opposed to the stand alone shops. The distinction was all too obvious a couple of weeks back. I decided to take my cousin for a Frappucino– she wanted a «Cotton Candy Frap» which happened to be on the secret menu, so felt there would be no issue in ordering that. Turns out that(I’m seriously shaking my head in disbelief at the moment) I was reprimanded for referring to it as a Cotton Candy Frap. The faux barista literally snapped, claiming that it was called something else and it needed to be referred to that specific term. Geez. It’s just funny now that I think of it– I was probably the first one to greet the«barista.» I would have otherwise just gotten a blank stare from her had I not said anything. So I’m waiting there with my cousin for our drinks, and not surprisingly, the workers botched the order of the lady in front of us. Her and I gave eachother confused and irritated looks. It was irritating to say the least. I am one to treat those in the service industry with the utmost respect, and am admirable for all the bs they have to put up with on a daily basis. However on that particular Sunday afternoon, something inside me was compelled not to say thank you, and to not greet them with a smile. Target should strongly reconsider who and how they hire faux baristas. At the MINIMUM, at least hire those with an ounce of interpersonal skills!

I’ve been to this Starbucks a few times. But yesterday was my recent visit so I am writing a review about that experience. I went to this Starbucks because there was a line at the one in the mall. I walked in Target and phew! No line. I waited there while the young lady saw me but obviously was goofying around with other employees. I waited a good 3 minutes before she even acknowledged me. By then two other people were in line. I literally started tapping my nails lol. I think the manager needs to stop by more often. Maybe then the employees would be more productive and work. The barista even said«your distracting me» to other employee, too much playing around. Disappointed that there are still jobs out there where kids can just stand around and talk instead of pay attention to customers. There wifi was alright. A little better then the malls at least.

Every time I attempt to go to this Starbucks location, it never seems to be operating properly. Something is always broken or they are always out of stock of products. I understand that this is not a full Starbucks because it is in a Target. But to not have any coffee or brewed teas available on a constant basis is absurd. The service at this location could use some work as well. I never have any issues with service at any other Starbucks locations I visit. Baristas as this location are a bit rude and quick tempered.
