Solar Eclipse Window Tinting

I would have to lower my rating after thinking about what really happened. The owner is cool bit the dude he has working for him sucks. If you go don’t be in a hurry. While I was getting my car done the worker took a total of 3 breaks!!! I’m all for worker rights but come on dude this got took a break before he even started working and he got there late to boot. He took two more breaks while doing just my car and he was in a hurry when doing the windows on my car. I watched him and noticed he was getting careless withe the razor blade when cleaning the window. Sure enough he cut into the weather stripping on the outside of the door. It wasn’t bad so I said nothing. Ian happy with how it came out but this dude is lame. I say the owner should find a new worker.

Great, great service. Very nice friendly people they took good care of my car and to top it off very understanding since I kept changing my mind on the shade. I loved the work they did very clean and he explained the care for the windows very well. I would 100% recommend people to go here. Thank you to everyone.

Great tinting, really love it. Staff was chill, i thought it looked pretty sus as first but then the after product looked brackin. My car is bangin bruh. I be stuntin on people quick. Pull up and skurttttt get in the ride, left hand is steering the other is grippin yo thigh. Gotta blap Don’t to that shit. My girl loves my car, she don’t love it more than me though, anyways all I gotta say is that this place is worth it. Had to make my review long cause Unilocal being silly.

Took my car to Damien yesterday. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome! Wanted my front windows tinted too and Damien explained to me the laws and how dark I could go. He’s very knowledgable. They had to take my door panels off to tint my windows and I have a difficult back window. Damien and his crew had my car in and out in less than 2 hours with all that work! Too good! Thanks guys! I’ll be back with my other cars!

This place is the premier shop to get your windows tinted. I made the call to set up an appointment and when I got there, I was immediately greeted and they took my car in. In less then 30 – 40 min, they were done and I examined the work. High attention to detail and friendly service.

I am looking for a good tint and of course a price that will not fully empty my wallet. I talked to one of the technician over the phone… Initially he gave me a price I mean the usual price but the discount I get for 2 cars is well appreciated and definitely will end up to a leverage situation… With my review of full 5 stars that will gain and attract more customers in the long run is something also other company should copy, «giving to gain more» I know this company for so many years and they still exist nevertheless it means they do good things.

I believe I been coming to solar eclipse since early 2000 or so. Ever since Damian has never let me down! He’s cut and dry, and straight to the point. He answers your question with a direct answer. Oh, and the best part is that he has always been cheaper than most shops, but his work isn’t cheap!
I never had to bring my car back to him for any of the window tinting he has done, or for any of the work he has done with any of my cars in the past. He’s a nice guy trying to make a living, doing what he loves to do. Now those are usually the people you want working on your car anyways right?

Cheap but very efficient! Great service! On time and quick. Very direct to the point no beating around the bush. Just what i like! I had got a fix it ticket for the tint on my two front windows so i called 2 hours before i came he charged me 30 bucks and got me out of there in 20 min!

I previously came here to get my 5 windows tinted (limo tint). I was warned that it was not legal but of course I do it anyways. A few months later I get popped with a fix it ticket. So I called for an appt to get my tint taken off the two front windows. I showed up today august 1^st 2014 at 1 pm. The gentleman at the front greeted me and took my keys. Boom! 15 min later and only 30 bucks and my tint was off. It was really hot outside too poor guy was puttin in some work! I’m happy with my service and how quickly and professionally they took care of me! I’ll definitely be back to re tint the front lol! Good job guys!

Tint job went extremely well. Took an hr and a half. Just make sure you follow their guidelines so that you don’t void the warranty.

Had my 2001 Accord tinted the back windows in 2001. All was fine. Now in 2012, i went in to talk with the shop about the peeling tint and other problems after 11 years of a «lifetime» job.
I still had the receipt (surprise!) and spoke with the owner about the situation, and let him see what he could do for me.
The story I was given he was only a part owner back then, couldn’t speak for the job done. The card I had for the tint was from Solar Guard, which they no longer use, so he said the warranty was with the film company, he couldn’t just do a warranty repair for film they are not a «authorized» dealer anymore. He took my info and promised to talk with Solar Guard and get back to me. Do you think he got back to me? Of course not. This is a classic «brush off» and an easy way to get out of a warranty claim, just change film brands every so often.
Based on all the things I know about this shop and talking with the owner, the long term customer is not a priority, most people sell a car before a warranty condition appears. I bought the tint from them, not Solar Guard, they should honor the warranty for the product they sold me.
Keep that in mind when you see the «Lifetime warranty» on their paperwork. There’s a line from the movie «Tommy Boy» about warranties, this place comes to mind.

1 year later tint is still looking good on both of my cars.
–1 small window developed bubbles. I took it in and they happily honored the warranty. I decided to get the 2 front windows done while I was there. I was done in a hour.
Good place to go.

Damien is a class act business owner. I had my Lexus windows done recently here, and his service, attention to detail is Top Notch. I also conveyed to him that I had brought my wife’s car there to have her windows tinted. This was prior to him being the full fledged owner. I told him that the tint was already coming off, and he said, bring it in, I will honor the lifetime warranty even thought it was performed under the previous owner. I told him «THANK YOU», Now I have plans to bring my wifes car back sometime soon.

My bf was able to take my prius down to get it tinted. Bless his heart. I specifically made the appointment and told them someone else was gonna bring it in. I got the appointment next day but they got backed up when the bf was over there for the appointment.
But the work was done right esp for the little windows i have and my car looks great just in time for summer (this was done in early june)

Solar Eclipse hooked me up AGAIN!
The first time was four years ago when I moved back to California from Florida. (I don’t know if you’ve ever been to Florida in the summertime but it’s wicked hot! Like living in a sauna). Anyway, my Jeep Liberty had windows with Florida tint which means they were completely blacked out.
It took the CHP about three months to pull me over and write me a fix-​it ticket to have the tint removed. A friend of mine suggested going to Solar Eclipse because he had both his and his wife’s car done there.
The guys did an excellent job of stripping the old tint and putting on the new ‘lighter’ California version.
Four years later, the windows still look great.
Last month my girlfriend bought a brand-​new Honda CRV. She told me she wanted to get a light tint on the windows, and asked if I knew of a place she could take her car to get the windows done.
I called Solar and made a Saturday morning appointment. After doing a little paperwork, they said the car would be ready in about three hours, so we took off to find some breakfast.
We had just finished eating and on the way out to my car we were trying to decide what to do until her car was ready… and her phone rang. It was the guys at Eclipse, letting her know her car was done. About one hour ahead of schedule.
They gave her a «cheat sheet» on how to care for her new tint job, in addition to a lifetime warranty.
All I can say is my experience with Solar Eclipse has been fantastic. Great work, great customer service, lifetime warranty… what’s not to love?

Just to let you know this place does a great job! I had two cars done, one on Thursday and the other on Satuday. All I can say is the job was fantastic. I was giving both printed and verbal information on how to take care of my window tint. I was also given information on where to go to have my tint repaired should I have a problem. Nation wide. They give you a true life time warranty.
I had a life time warranty on one of my older cars, but they went out of business, I guess the warranty meant for the life the business not my tint. By having options and other places I will never have to worry about that again.
I do want to point out that I made an appointment, and was given a time to pick up the car. As I was driving there to pick it up, at the scheduled time, Damien called to let me know they finished up a little early.
I love it when a place of business respects my time and makes the extra effort to call a customer!
