Wow, Im glad this corner of Plaza Bonita is finally getting some good business since this corner of the mall goes through much turnover with businesses. OK cut this short, Potato Corner is a chain from the Philippines according to my mom. And they have great values on just fries, or go with fries, 4 chicken strips and a big soda for 9 bucks with tax. I did the BBQ for the fries and Garlic Paramasean for the chicken. Honestly the chicken would’ve been fine by itself. And why this place always have a line? The food is made completely freshly cooked and fried. That’s just how fast their food goes. And you know what, fresh made fries and chicken strips just taste damn good. Next time i’ll try some chips or tater tots!

I love this place so much. I eat here so often that the workers memorize my order lol. Every worker is always so kind and friendly! My top three favorite flavors are: 1. BBQ2. Cheddar 3. Chili BBQ If anyone complains about the fries being too bland or anything, you can always ask for extra seasoning free of charge. Soooo yummy. I could seriously eat the Giga(large) size BBQ fries every day lol.

Potato Corner’s website indicates that they have baked potatoes. The menu on the wall at this location did not list baked potatoes, so I asked if they had them. The kid behind the counter asked«What do you mean?» That’s right, the child had never heard of a baked potato.

I love the tater tots! The cashier recommended we tried the chicken being our first time eating there. Not such a big fan of the chicken though, they put this«bbq» seasoning on it that makes it taste super weird(really disappointed since I really wanted some chicken strips) it seams like you’re just eating the seasoning and not the actual chicken.

Love potato corner. The BBQ fries and Chili BBQ fries are amazing. I prefer the original cut fries, but they do offer options of loopy fries, waffle cut, and a few others. The price is a little steep for fries, but its the only place around that specializes in fries. They do serve chicken and drinks also. The location is good if you live in the southbay area as its located in the mall food court.

Hmm, how have I not reviewed this place yet, considering I was the Duchess many moons ago? I love Potato Corner(or as I affectionately refer to it as, Potato C) as much as I love fries, period. Trust — that’s a lot. You seriously can never go wrong sharing a big ol’ giga fries with your best bud or boo. I go for the typical straight fries, tater tots, or if I’m feeling fancy/guilty: sweet potato fries. I always mix 2 flavors and one of them is always chili bbq. The other is typically cheddar or sour cream. I just come for the fries, as the chicken tenders seem a bit too starchy for my taste. I really wish I could somehow buy the flavor powders off of them, but that may lead to a dangerous addiction. Thanks for the tasty memories.

Some of the best tasting chicken in San Diego and not many people know about this place! It’s located in Plaza Bonita in the food court. It’s called Potato Corner because they sell a lot French fries & tater tots, but I just get the chicken. What makes these fried wings delicious are the seasonings you can get on them such as bbq, cheddar, garlic & parmesan, and my favorite chili bbq! Your order how many you want, they fry them up and then shake them in a container with your chosen seasoning! It’s seriously finger licking good and will have you thinking about it for a few days!

I love fries. So when I read about this place, it intrigued me. When I finally got to try it out, there were issues with my order. I asked about menu, but I’m not sure the person at the register knew what she was talking about, as her colleague(who was moving items in and out of the space) had to clarify things to me. After all that we went over with the prices and sizes, she still got it wrong and overcharged me with a bigger portion than I wanted. By that point I didn’t want to bother wasting another minute with a line forming behind me, so I paid and waited. The product did end up having a good flavor to it, even though it’s just a mix of seasonings shaken up(I got the sour cream and barbecue as others have recommended). The fries are okay, but I wouldn’t rave about them. If it weren’t for the communication problems, I would have considered going back, but I still haven’t. They get cool points though for having Hunt’s ketchup packets, which is a brand I prefer over the more widely distributed competitor ketchup brand.

I love love , I like the cheese tater totts, or spicy bbq fries. they over fill your bowl which I like because other food stands usually jip you. The line can get long but it moves fast and the mall gets very crowded with teenagers so go on a weekday or during daytime. My favorite snack place!

$ 3 something for their smallest size of regular fries, comparable to the small McDonald’s size with a little more. I got bbq flavor which reminds me of instant noodle flavoring packages. It’s okay tasting not worth the price though. I honestly don’t understand the hype. I rather purchase in n out fries: p which come out fresh unlike these fries that sit under a light until their batch runs out then they fry up more which seems to be frozen. Service is pretty slow there is only one person making the orders and one taking orders.

Ohhhhh yess, soo happy to have found this place. The fries themselves are good, crispy and long enough, but I do think they would be maybe better, a little thicker. The waffle cut and straight cuts are good staples tho. I tried the chilli bbq, and the vendor suggested I tried it with a touch of ranch, delicious! I will definitely return. To try more flavors! This is a french fry lovers dream!

Love this place! Great selection of flavors, great customer service, everybody is always so friendly. The food is always delicious. I’ve been here multiple times & they’ve never let me down! Only downside is that there’s only one person making the food, so it takes quite a while for our order to be ready. It’s a small kitchen but two people in the kitchen can definitely get the line moving!

My friend wanted to try this place out since she heard it was good. We got to try the different seasonings they had before making our final decision. The chili BBQ was the best one since it was the only spicy flavor they had. The medium size was pretty big and they were cooked to order! Slightly crispy and full of flavor. The fries were so addicting and gave us energy to shop till we dropped! We ended up shopping for five hours!

I remember walking around the mall with my sister and friend before this place opened. There was a big sign saying how Potato Corner was coming soon! My friend honestly freaked out and ran up to the area where it was going to be located in order to read the details. My sister and I thought he was crazy. Then Potato Corner finally opened, and I decided to go try some fries to see what the commotion was about. My friend ordered BBQ curly fries, and I got the sour cream and onion regular cut fries. Oh. My. Goodness. SO delicious and flavorful! Every single fry was made to perfection. I’ve also tried the chicken. The seasoning tastes just like the fries. The chicken is good, but it could be better. The pricing is kind of high, but the taste is worth it. Check this place out, for sure! Now I’m craving some of their fries. That’s how good it is.

The BEST addition to the food court! I love the spicy BBQ flavor! :) So you pick your type of fries(wedge, regular, etc) and then you pick your flavor, I think there is like 5 different ones? And then your size and then you wait. They are made to order so they are ALWAYS fresh and take about 7 minutes to be done… aaaaah they are soooo BOMB!!!
