I came in at 3:30 with 3 people in front of me. By the time I got my food it was 3:50. There were 5 people working but only one was serving food and in no hurry to move the line along. Then I made the mistake of ordering the teriyaki chicken. I was told they were out of sauce and by the looks of the pan they had been for some time. I said I would wait. Almost 5 minutes later, with my food sitting on the counter getting cold, they finally brought out the sauce. As I sit here and eat, the pace doesn’t seem to change, as the line continues to grow.

I could give better rating based on the actual food, but I’m rating them a lot lower because both this location and the one on Bway-Chula Vista, they run out of food items all the time. I would imagine this happens at all locations because it does get hectic and they dont seem to have a designated person to check on which items are getting low. True story: Arrived at Chula Vista location and noticed beef broccoli was almost gone but got in line anyway and they did get some out but by the time it was my turn, they still had beef broccoli but the last of the FRIEDRICE was gone! Yes they ran out of fried rice!!! That would never happen at a REAL Chinese Restaurant!!!

I had an online order I went and picked up the food when I got back to my house half of my order was missing. I went back and asked for them to redo the whole order they did and were very polite. They went over the order with me before I left. When I got home the portions were very small and the food was not fresh. the most upsetting part was I ordered a medium honey walnut shrimp for almost $ 10 and the box was barely half full. I will not be returning to this Panda Express.

Big big NONO! The food was as always good, but I hate to say that the employees need training on proper sanitary procedures. The girl at the cash register was trying to finish serving my chicken after she just finished touching the money from the person before me. With out washing her hands before touching my food. I HADTOASKHER to wash her hands. She was very nice and washed them but there should be no need for me to ask you to wash your hands before touching my food and handling money. After she finished serving my stuff I handed her my cash money in which she proceeded with her tasks touching the other persons food with out washing them AGAIN. If your a food handler at any location you should wash your hands ABSOLUTELYEVERYSINGLETIMEYOUTOUCHMONEY! No customer should have to tell you to do so, it should be done. Again, the service was nice but that grossed me out and I won’t come back unless the employees receive a full training on sanitary procedures. Hate to write a bad review but NO!

Avoid coming during the first 30 minutes of the day. They are very slow getting food ready for service.

Very clean and cool lid cover holders. My panda bowl(Orange chicken and chow mein) was delicious. I received fast service and the place is very clean. I really appreciated the lid cover case which only allows you to handle one lid at a time.

Great atmosphere, awesome employees. Jesus was an exceptional employee. Very courteous. After sitting down, he came over and offered us condiments.

Normally Panda Express is something I’m happy to see however the food is the only thing I can smile at in this location. I’ve been to this newly opened location a few times and the staff don’t seem to be too friendly on all but one occasion. The space is small which should mean it’s easier to maintain, definitely not the case here. The tables are constantly filthy as is the drink station. Take-out only!!!

This is a recently opened location, in South Bay Plaza. The place definitely has an open, modern, airy look, with the two exterior walls floor-to-ceiling glass. The downside is that both walls face westerly, and when the sun is low, the glare is high. Best to face East at a table, or bring your SPF lotion and Ray-Bans. Along with late afternoon and early evening glare, the noise level is quite is high, with all surfaces being hard, except the ceiling tiles which, mercifully were of the acoustic variety. There were no unruly kids, but the noise level, caused by normal conversation, chairs moving, etc. is more than disruptive. I imagine the tables turn pretty quickly here. Ordering is done via a cafeteria-style line, in which you choose your entrée(s), side(s), and drink(s). It moves along pretty quickly, so you better be prepared to bark out your selections to the servers. The servers are well trained and very accommodating, a must for any new business location. Prices are very moderate, $ 6.80 for two entrees and one side, $ 1.60 for a soft drink. Surprisingly, an egg roll counts as an entrée. Most of the entrees are battered and deep fried, but one can find several that aren’t. Sides include noodles and three kinds of rice, fried, brown or white. It’s fast food, but the taste is about what you would expect, and the two-entrée/one side selection is very filling. It is what it is. Chinese fast food, Americanized to be sure, but A-OK.

I finally got to come ! And as a first impression, I love the open space feeling, the big windows and the overall décor. Very clean, and by standing from the door you can see the all the way back to where people are cooking. Really like that! As far as service, OMG. The first greeter/server was Incredible! His name is Victor. Really outgoing, communicates well and very social! Just the way I like to be treated! He also stop by the table to see if we needed anything else. The food was nice and hot and overall a great experience!

First time coming to this location and my experience was bad !!! First I pass by and all the chairs were up on the tables like if the place was closed. I got down from my car to check what time they closed and they were open for another 45 mins.(They close at 10) I go in to order my food and they didn’t have fried rice so I asked they if they could make some and the lady said no because they were closing in a few mins. It was 9:15pm and they hours sign says they close at 10pm. She finally agreed to make it after I told her their closing hour was at 10. Their food options were minimal and they were cleaning.

I always love eating at Panda Express, the food is always hot and delicious. I’m sure most of us have been waiting months for this one to open and now it is! This Panda Express closer to me than the one in Plaza Bonita. I usually only get the chow mien and orange chicken!(:
