First off Letme just say that Unilocal help me find this place. I determine whether I go to place based on the reviews. So I was reading the reviews for NCM and people had nothing but good things to say about em.
So I went almost closing time on a Friday, for a tire change and chain lube. Customer service was ok. He said it was a simple job, quick tire change and chain lube so I was cool. Since its my only means of transportation I was ecstatic to hear «quick» job. But to my surprise he said «sorry man I have to do it tomorrow». I was thinking what the hell, you just said it’s a quick job. I didn’t have time in advance to tell nobody to pick me up. But it was alright. Left the bike waited out front for a minute.
Fast forward to next day, I called em to see what’s up with the bike. Talked to a guy named rod or Rob, and he said that something came up and my bike was next inline to get worked on. So I told him to call me when it was finished. Saturday passed with no call, needless to say I was a little pissed.
So Monday rolled through, called em up and they said it was finished Saturday. I was like are you kidding me? Had to borrow a car to use to work, just for them to tell me that it’s been finished? Come on now.
The only reason why I didn’t give this place a 1 star is because when I picked up the bike mike, took 20 minutes of his time to letme know of a few things about my bike. What needed to be done, what things are critical and price and work time. Which was surprising to me. Needless to say that I won’t be visiting this place again for future repairs. If a simple and quick job can take a few days, I can only imagine what a hard and complicated repair will take. Scary to think about it actually.

National City Motorcycle is Amazing! I have been to other motorcycle shops in San Diego but the guys here far out shine any other place. There is a genuine sincerity that each employee has for their customers. They care about you and will take the time to make you feel welcomed.

I’ve been coming here for all my bikes: GSXR 600, MV Agusta F3 (tires and simple issues), R6, and now HD Dyna Street Bob. From getting great deals on parts and awesome service in the service department, you can’t go wrong with NCM. All of the staff is friendly and attentive to detail.
Thank you Rob, Richard, John, Justin and the rest of the guys for your continued assistance with all my bikes. For anyone in the South Bay this is the spot to go to for all your bike needs.

Moved here from Chicago recently and needed to get my 2013 Ninja serviced. I called AAA to get them to tow it here without me being with the bike. Mike, one of the owners, is who I spoke to on the phone and he assured me he would take care of the bike and get it running again (dead battery + standard maint), since it hadn’t been ridden in over 8 months. I was in no rush for the bike since I had no way of getting down there until the weekend. I had to call to confirm they received the bike and follow-​up on the status over the course of 3 days, but they got it done and within the requested time frame, plus, the price was right.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Got me in barely before closing time and had me riding off in no time. Customer service is top-​notch and pricing is great! My go-​to bike shop from now on.

A good place to buy tires. Super friendly service, and nice low prices for name brand tires. I will never go to a Harley dealer again. National City motorcycle has my business for life.

Most of everything that everyone loves about this place, I experienced for myself personally. I brought my first motorcycle in for its first maintenance (600 miles). They did a fantastic job. I also just came in today to get a new tire because I had just gotten a nail in mine. They got it done in 20 minutes. Pretty wild.
You can always come here and never feel bad for asking a question. They will invest their time into making sure you understand. I am a first time rider and I do not feel dumb asking these guys questions. Top notch guest service.
Even though I’ll be learning how to service my bike by myself to save money, NCM will definitely see me again in case I ever need anything because I know they provide TOP QUALITY service!

I don’t write a lot of reviews just off of one or two visits to an establishment, unless it was over the top great customer service or lower then dirt, scumbag customer service, and I know because I’ve worked in retail for 5 years. So please read.
First time I heard of this place (through Unilocal) I decided to check it out for myself. Entrance is by the alley, so don’t try to go in thru the main street entrance. I first went there to get an oil change on my bike, and the guys there greeted me with much respect. The atmosphere is great there and the staff know exactly what they are doing. Pricing on labor is fairly cheaper than most places in the south bay area. As far as purchasing parts, etc, from them, they usually order stock! Don’t go in thinking they will give you aftermarket cheap items. Understand they’re working on vehicles that can ultimately lead to your death, any vital loose screw, any misfiring, almost anything that can go wrong because of an aftermarket defect can get you in an accident or killed, and they do not want that burden. That’s your job and your risk to take and search for anything aftermarket.
I got into an accident on April 4^th, 2015 and I took my bike in to get repairs, and these guys are helping me get through it by taking very good care of my motorcycle, every time I call to check on the status (weekly) they’re always happy to update me and honest, and every time I go visit to check on it, they always ask me how I’m feeling. Overall great place. Would highly recommend you come and check the shop out.

Always straight forward. Great customer service! Taken my 99 zx6r here a few years back and now my cbr1000. They care about the costumer and do there very best to satisfy my needs. I will always come here. Only complaint is that they are so good they’re always busy.

Went in today due to bike not running good. I think his name is Rob listen and took bike for a ride and spent 15 minutes checking and adjusted a few things said OK your good. I said what do I owe you anything he said no if we can fix it fas we will no charge.

Went in to get new tires installed. The mechanics are all very friendly and knowledgable. Loved that they gave me a quick lesson on bike maintenance (This is my first bike but I have some mechanical knowledge). I felt they were very honest; they showed/​told me WHY things needed to be done etc. Bike maintenance isn’t cheap and I feel like NCM keeps it pretty fair without nickel and diming you. They are def my new motorcycle service shop of choice!

Honest work, great service. Mike tracked down several hard to find parts for my ’79 Honda CT90 and got it running great.

I love this place, it’s quality work by great set of guys who know what they’re doing, they work hard and put the best effort. The owner is Mike, co-​owner is Rob, a guy named Justin, young dude named Jay, and some other guys too. I don’t like to take my bike anywhere else to get serviced, they also got a better price than anyone else. Best thing is to leave the bike here and pick it up in a few days since they are always busy, but talk to them and try to get a one day turn around.

Took my motorcycle there to get all of my coils changed since one went out. brake fluid changed, oil changed, upper fairing cover replaced, brakes checked, coolant changed, chain lubed and my bike came out brand spanking new! Dropped it off on a Saturday at 4:30pm and by Monday at 11am I received a call from them saying that my bike was ready to be picked up. They did everything I asked them too and best of all was the price! Definitely taking my bike back to ncm for its next service

Walked in to get my tire plugged and even though the guys were super busy with other bikes they still got me in right away. I was able to go walk a few blocks down, sit down to have a bite to eat and by the time I walked back the guys were done and I was ready to go. Super quick, super friendly guys, and excellent service. Will def be my go to bike shop for now one.

Mike, Rob, John, and Richard together make this place a home for motorcyclists. Mike and Rob’s vast experience with a multitude of machines make their expertise and wisdom absolutely untouchable. Above it all, their dedication and respect to their customers is what sold me on being a regular to their shop. John’s encyclopedia brain of parts is unnatural, and he knows where to find it all.
Overall, the way I and my family were treated and respected here at this establishment was like a good, functional family. I certainly wish all small businesses would follow their model of integrity, respect, and professionalism that NCM consistently displays.

whoa, not sure if I ever posted this. It is now April 2014 and NCM is still the best is SD.

National City Motorcycle gives top level service. At NCM the staff is very knowledgeable, and friendly. They’ve had a quick turnaround time for the service they’ve performed on my ninja 300. And, they offer a wide selection of parts and accessories.
I went in for a rear tire expecting to order and wait. Instead, they had an OEM replacement in stock and were able to install it on the spot.
Very happy NCM customer here.
