Great job. Got a basic hair cut. She took her time and it looked good.

If your in the market for an upscale barber shop that shampoos hair, performs stylish haircuts, and uses high end designer hair care products, then DONOT come here! If you are looking for a no-nonsense haircut done right, then the the fine folks at Harbinson’s Barber Shop are here to service your needs! This place, pure and simple, is a no frills, low budget, Filipino owned barber shop. Because of my profession, I perfer to maintain short hair that is also low maintenance and easy to care for and thats exactly what Harbison Barber Shop specializes in. The service I have experienced here has always been great and most importantly I have never recieved a bad haircut by any of the staff working there. One minus tho, is the fact that they have raised thier prices to $ 10 for a haircut. Oh, how I miss the days of $ 5 haircuts! In general, when your looking for a fast, simple haircut done right, remember these three words… Harbinson’s Barber Shop!

No frills barber shop. One of the best shops for fade cuts… I usually like mine at a zero, and they get the cut down to the stubble. The only other shops in town I can think of that do fades equally are Hoa’s a few miles away and Superior cuts in Chula Vista. I can say honestly, expect this to be your typical Filipino barbershop with TFC playing on the TV and the plastic lawn chairs sprawled out for seats. I had an interesting story here one time where my barber(the old guy with glasses) and some other barber(another old guy with slicked back hair) were duking it out and straight up fighting while I was in the middle of a haircut. It was funny and a bit awkward @ the same time… I said to myself I should probably not get my haircut here anymore… but then I realized, this is one of the few spots in town that gets the fade down and clean… and here I am every few weeks again.

i wanted to shave my head, but i don’t own clippers. i came here. this is a barber shop, and is a very specialized service. they basically do 2(maybe 3) types of haircuts and that’s it. they will shave your head. a military style cut.(e.g., crew cut or high and tight). the regular — which looks eerily like a military cut. think leave it to beaver 50’s hairstyle. if you’re looking to get something else, you will be sadly disappointed. this is a filipino owned business, and everyone who cuts hair here is filipino. meaning that wowee will most likely be playing on the filipino channel.

when im not cutting my own hair, im sitting ina white plastic lawn chair at harbison’s. i remember when the price for a regular cut was $ 4. now its $ 10 but id gladly pay this new inflated ass price cause i love filipino businesses who blast TFC and waft of filipino food. the dudes definitely know how to line up a good fade. just dont go there with a 6inch fro n tell em to take off a few, theyll seriously tell you to GTFO in tagalog n remind you where the door is. its clean, its fast, theyregood, they really are it!
