H&R Block

Bad service!!! I set an appointment just to be seated and wait for an hour. Olga was the tax lady that was supposed to help me out. Got there in time for my appointment and she was finishing with another client. we were told to have a seat and wait she was almost done. She finish with that one client, then instead of calling us she call some other lady over and started gossiping about the next vacation trip there were going to take. We sat there for an hour watching this lady gossip about here bs. She obviously doesn’t give a shit about customer service. DO NOT GO HERE! you will regret it.

I would love to be able to review their services. However, I arrived to my appointment on time, waited for 45 minutes, and the CPA never showed up at all. I’m not interested in working with a company that so undervalues the time of their customers. That being said, the receptionist was lovely and apologetic and attentive.

Just wanted to say had been going to a person for 8 years and he started getting sloppy really messed my moms taxes up an eldery women the IRS said she owed 10,000 dollars took the forms to OLGA at speedy tax service wow she is very smart and friendly professional!!! She is going to amend it for us. SHE IS VERY HONEST AND NOT A RIP OFF my family will be going to her from now on!!! She just made us feel so comfortable!!! Thank you Mrs. Olga

When it comes to tax season, I admire CPAs and tax preparers because of the fact that they make bank on something EVERYONE in this country is required to do. I went into this H&R Block as a naïve little girl thinking I could get my taxes done, pay a little moolah and be on my way. But little did I know «a little moolah» amounted in $ 150. I can’t believe typing in numbers in a computer for 10 minutes costs $ 150. Am I in the wrong field?
With that said, there are way better options to consider. I went to a private CPA back home and he only charged me $ 70. For active duty military, you can use TurboTax for free. There’s also VitaTax. Or you can always do them yourself.
