Another bookmarked checked. I had about a few hours to spare in my day and decided to head over here to check out the NM Café for a quick bite after shopping at Sephora. Majority of the menu items looked very appetizing. You’re served a warm popover with strawberry butter that is heavenly along with a miniature mug of chicken broth. I ordered the crab cake salad that came with 2 perfectly seasoned crab cakes, sliced avocados, hard boiled eggs, cherry tomatoes, lettuce, and peppers all tossed in a light dressing. It was absolutely delicious. The salad was cool and flavorful with the warm crab cakes placed on top made each forkful literally melt in my mouth. I absolutely love being able to dine here and enjoy delicious food for a reasonable price because I’m so not a food court eating type of gal. Other notes: –Service was very friendly and attentive. –Seating seems to fill fast. I went around 1pm and the café was pretty much full by the time I finished eating. — Wine list– No Riesling available. — Located on the second floor.

I perused Open Table to find a lunch place in, our near the Natick mall and the NM Café popped up. They are open until 5pm and we arrived for lunch around 1pm. Lovely hostess showed us to the table and our waitress promptly came over to greet us a tell us about the menu. For a small place, they had a very diverse menu. Lunch date and I had a couple soups(mmmm good) and salads(delish) and had seltzer to drink. Gluten free options were plentiful. A complimentary cup of broth came over after we ordered and then the warm popover with strawberry butter appeared. I’m in love. We finished with some coffees and the grand total with tip came to $ 72. Not cheap, but really good and the best part of this hidden gem is the wine list! Looking forward to coming back with the ladies for an extended lunch.
