The shopping experience was fine with friendly staff. However, the quality of furniture I purchased was terrible. I bought a Palmer Dining table, which wasn’t cheep. After we put a couple glasses on it, the finish literally started flacking off all around where the glass had been. So the table is dark with three bare wood patches(not water marks) the size of my hand. I called customer service and they said that the table isn’t made to have dishes, cups or glasses placed on it. If I wanted to use it as a dining room table I should use a table cloth at all times. Additionally, where the laminate comes together on the corner of the table is already pealing apart. The customer service manager was not helpful at all and said I’d just have to deal with it. After many conversations on the phone, he proposed showing pictures of the table top to their supplier. Their supplier confirmed that the table top was defective and agreed to send a new one to BI. BI then promptly replace the table top. Hope the new one holds up better.

Last fall I went and used their interior services. I had two«young» designers come out and draw up a plan for me. They were energetic and polite and I had great hopes. But their design was so sad I smiled and never went back. Not only was all the furniture excessively expensive.(I had a 2K budget and that got me a couch and a iron bed frame with head board) the design was almost worse than something I could have done myself. Suggesting that the couch be placed sort of sideways in the room but also in the middle of the room. It was really quite bad.

We purchased nearly all of our furniture from this store. The process was quick, and Elizabeth, the salesperson with whom we worked was knowledgable and had a keen eye for design. We have now had the furniture in our home for two weeks and we love it more than when we saw it in the show room. Delivery was quick. We purchased everything on a Sunday and had it in our house the following Friday. Wonderful experience.

Friendly, no-pressure service. Our purchase was in stock. Delivery within a week. Excellent experience! Hubs and I were dreading couch shopping. We purchased several pieces from Ashley Furniture in Texas in 2009 and it was a headache. We did some research on Boston Interiors’ website, which was easy to navigate and we appreciated the«Couches under $ 999» section. We had a couple specific pieces we wanted to check out. The associate, Sarah, was able to show us a couple more that were similar. I happened to stumble upon one more(it was clear she was about to suggest it, but I mentioned I saw it and liked it). We ended up with that one. We weren’t sure which size we wanted. Sarah printed out a sheet that broke down the price, including delivery and tax, for each of two potential sizes. We called the next day with our selection and she emailed an invoice right away. We ordered on Monday and delivery is expected for Friday.
