Big dance floor, line dancing lessons, live music, good drinks, and a good time overall. There is a reasonable cover charge and a bathroom attendant who is sweet as pie so take some dollars with you to the potty.

Imagine Chuck E. Cheese except the mechanical animal band is replaced by human beings. I have never been in a «bar» that had so many kids running around acting a fool. I can’t imagine the band being enthused to see a troop of 8 year olds playing slip and slide on the dance floor. Perhaps the blame should be placed on their parents who were shotgunning Bud Lights on the sideline, but then again, what kind of «bar» allows you to roll in with a half dozen 4th graders per adult. Needless to say, I couldn’t even give this place a fair shot as I was dodging out of control kids running around while I tried to walk around. I guess the décor was cool, except my focus was on the wild pack of hyenas running around…

What a fun place! We stopped in here just to check it out while we were walking around Nashville. The atmosphere is great, and the décor is very unique. We didn’t order anything, so we will definitely need to do that next time we are here. It is a fun place to dance and hang out, but is a fun stop for families too. When saw several people with there children eating and dancing while we were there. I’m glad we stopped in to check out this very popular Nashville destination, and I can’t wait to go back and experience some of the food the next time we are in town!

Food was mediocre. 5−7pm was filled with too many kids. Running and horsing around on the dance floor. I’m sure it’s probably better later at night.

Great place to go in Nashville and learn to line dance. Made a fun night because everyone can dance without feeling self conscience. Cover charge was worth it once you get in a lot to do from playing pool, to dancing,

Def didn’t spend too much time here but from the 3 hours I was there, I have no complaints. Live music, billiard and like dancing lessons… doesn’t get much better than that! Gran a drink in a boot and keep the glass boot! Cheers

They have a schedule for«line dance lessons» so while we were there we learned a dance at 5:00 and another dance at 6:09. We also got in some foozeball and pool on the third floor, which overlooks the lower two floors and has upside down horses hanging from its ceilings. Paid a dollar or two extra to get our drinks in glass boots which we are keeping as our Nashville souvenirs.

Let me start with the bathroom lady Barbara, she was so sweet and attending. I didn’t have singles to tip her, so I had to back to the bar to get change. She was an absolute sweetheart! The place was pretty empty for a Saturday night. They had a really good band playing called the Broseph E Lee, who had a pretty good crowd dancing. The beers were $ 6 which is not so bad. Everyone seemed so friendly and fun. It was a good time. Plus, they had these horses around the place that look pretty cool.

Came here for a conference. We had the whole place to ourselves. It was awesome. Good food, music, and beer. What is better than that!!!

We went there for lunch. We are new to the area from California and this place was exactly what we were looking for. Great southern food and fast service. The host girl was very friendly and welcomed us. Our server was nice and attentive. They have kids menu, too. Food was big and very good. Place is huge. They have pool tables on the 3rd floor which we played with our kids since up stairs wasn’t busy yet.(I am guessing it gets busy at night so no children allowed then) Nice experience.

Freaking love this place. Massive club with a lounge feel which doesn’t make sense but if you go and sit at a table at one of their bars with some friends, you’ll find yourself at some point looking up into a horse head and over to the big ass dance floor and you’ll say to yourself«oh yeah! I’m in a massive dance club!». Great staff and drink selection too. Go get lost in this place next time you’re in Nashville!

Great service. Love the atmosphere. Is very clean and good drinks. Didn’t try the food because we had already eaten but the«Nashville Hot» Fried Pickles sound amazing. Plan to try these!

The stage &3 story building was cool but $ 6 cover(unless you’re staying at a Mariott, then it’s free). Our first waiter was rude but we moved tables & everyone else was very friendly. Kale salad with chicken was delish. The band was meh — old songs with a pop hit thrown in here & there. They also faked a journey song with piped in guitar & voice backup. The line dance lesson was less than 10 min & one slow simple dance. All in all we were glad to have given it a try but once was enough.

The food was good but the service was lacking. I had the ribs with pimento Mac and cheese. Nice dinner. Also has the pickles as an app. Also good. When we arrived their wasn’t a hostess for about 5 minutes so we were just hanging out at the stand. Then once we finally got seated it took another 10 minutes to get our drink order taken. This timely service continued for our whole meal.

We came here for our first honky-tonk experience with the kids. Because we stayed at a Marriott hotel we were able to get in for free on a Thursday night.($ 6/adult cover). Large dance floor with lots of seats and bar areas surrounding. 2 stories of views. Large stage. Live music and line dancing lessons. We didn’t have any food so we can’t comment on that.

It holds its promise. Very nice venue, fast service, Line dancing and great bbq. We had the brisket, cheeseburger, chicken tender and grilles cheese. Just great. And our waitress was really nice. We also had the famous fried pickle in apps. Really gwood:)

It’s probably been at least a decade since I’ve been to Wildhorse. Even though it’s more of a tourist attraction than a local hangout, I was willing to accompany my mom and my aunt when they came to town for a visit. I think this place has gone downhill in a lot of ways. It was Friday night at peak time and there was nary a soul on the second or third floors. Half of the tables on the main level were empty too. At about 10:15pm they closed the bar we were sitting next to because«it wasn’t busy enough.» We were forced to open a tab at the main bar on the other side of the building, which was super annoying. Tonight’s entertainment was provided by Two Way Crossing. They were ok, but I wouldn’t exactly call them a «country» band. The dance floor seems considerably smaller than I remember it. They took away half of the original dance floor to put in more tables, except they were half empty so I’m not sure what the point was. It’s nearly impossible to two-step or even slow dance out there, since the limited square footage is covered with drunk college girls and starry-eyed bachelorettes attempting to line dance(even during the regular non-teaching music portions of the evening). FYI, despite the fact that Tennessee is an open-carry state, there are no firearms allowed at Wildhorse. I wish they had that information listed on their website so I wouldn’t have had to walk my pistol back to my truck. It must be run by Democrats or something. Even at $ 6.00, this place isn’t worth the cover charge.

My second trip to Wildhorse was just as fun as I remembered. It is my favorite music venue in the downtown area for several reasons. One, it has the largest dance floor and the dance instructor, Chance, makes sure you have fun. Even if you don’t dance, it is fun to watch. Second, the food is much better than typical bar food. I am a fried pickle addict and they have some of the best. The platter combo with choice of meats and sides is enough to share. Three, the bands are quality. We saw David Oakleaf and band. Four, the place is clean. Really clean. The bathroom attendant was cleaning every time I went in and she was so friendly. Five, No Smoke! I could actually breathe while I ate. If you go before 6, there is no cover charge. But don’t complain about a cover. many bars pass the tip jar every hour so you end up paying far more than the Wildhorse cover.
