We used Chefs Ali and PJ to cater our wedding dinner, and I gotta say, it was one of the best decisions(next to saying yes to my husband) that I made for our wedding. We were able to hand pick our menu including the kinds of herbs used, how local our food was, whether our steaks were grass fed… the works. They talked to us about what kinds of flavors we were looking for(some of our family members are sensitive to spicy foods, for example, so we wanted to make sure everybody could enjoy everything), how we wanted the food presented(whether things were passed, plated) and went over every detail to make sure we got EXACTLY what we wanted, and when we wanted some of their creative influence they gave us great ideas for food we could serve(which ended up being some of the foods that people were raving about at the dinner). They looked for the most quality products they could find at a reasonable price, and kept us in the loop the whole way through. They were even able to tell us which farm every piece of produce came from!(It was very important to us that everything was as locally sourced as possible) We did a final check a week before the wedding and went over every detail, and they made it very clear that they were happy to do what it took to make our dinner absolutely perfect. During the meal, they were beyond professional, everything was set up beautifully and DELICIOUS! My family is the kind of family that will talk to whoever is cooking and they were absolutely delightful; they were able to keep up a conversation while continuing to put out a phenomenal meal. For our appetizer buffet, they made sure there was plenty of food and nothing ever ran out. People would not stop raving about how delicious and fresh everything was!(not to mention it all looked GREAT!) We had a sit down meal for our salads and steaks, and they provided phenomenal table side service. The plating was beautiful, the steaks were perfectly cooked, and even so, they made a point to let everyone know if anyone needed their steaks to be cooked more or less that they would be more than happy to do it, which they didn’t need to. Everyone was more than satisfied with dinner. It was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and Ali and PJ were super professional and accommodating the whole way through. They left our kitchen cleaner than it was when they got there, and packed our leftovers for us to enjoy afterwards. I’m telling you, if you’re looking for locally sourced, delicious food, you have to use Ali and PJ to cater your event, they’re going to get you exactly what you want, they are the sweetest couple and they make some gosh darn good food!

Super fresh and delicious. It was really hard to chose from their menu options because everything sounded great. They seem to have a lot of South American inspiration going on in their dishes, which I really enjoy. Eventually I decided on the corvina ceviche with tostones, and it was fantastic! The ceviche was super refreshing & paired really nicely with the fried plantains. It was a perfect lunch!

Phenomenal! That’s the only word for it. Easily some of the freshest food I’ve had in Nashville in a while, and I grew up here! Chefs P.J. And Ali are blending fresh local veggies and gorgeously seasoned meats to create delightful Latin influenced street style cuisine. And the best part? It’s affordable! I had a rice bowl with all kinds of sautéed veggies topped with a perfectly over easy egg, which was loaded with simmered black beans, and the thing was around 7 bucks! I also tried the gnocchi-achos, a plate of nachos made with handmade gnocchi instead of chips. House infused cilantro and jalapeño(which the chefs grow personally) sour cream, red onion, tomato, and loads of other fresh ingredients(I was too busy stuffing my face to remember all of what’s in there) made for a fantastic plate! You have to go, you have to try it, and you won’t believe how hard it is to get that taste out of your mind. Can’t wait for a brick and mortar restaurant for Two Goats Garden so I can spend all my money there! Don’t deprive yourself of this treat. You gotta check it out!
