Very cool spot. Very friendly owner and customers. Nice spartan feel. Very reasonably priced draft beer and sticks. Just wish the ventilation could be upgraded.

Glad I found a place close to Nashville without having to drive to Cool Springs or survive the«honkey tonk tourist crowd» downtown. First time in every one in the place greeted me as a regular. Great prices on a large selection of cigars. Nice seating area to hang out in.

Sadly they don’t have a store custom blend like some cigar lounges do. The beer I was recommended by the bartender was spot on! Local crowd, as an out-of-towner I felt a little silly, but this could easily be attributed to my shyness. The dog who works here is sweet.

Best way to be greeted at your local bar… Blaze the dog! Husband is a cigar enthusiast and so we thought we’d check this place out after work on a Friday. Obviously it’s pretty smokey in there, because it’s a cigar bar(duh!), so don’t go expecting anything else. We really enjoyed the on-tap Jackalope and the friendly bartender… and the dog. The place had a real«Cheers-y”/ everyone knows your name type of vibe… And we liked it!

I live in the neighborhood and have dropped in a few times to pick up a few cigars. This is a cool place to hangout and has a large selection or cigars. Very welcoming atmosphere.

Tobacco Road is hands down my favorite cigar store. Sure, it’s basically walking distance from my house and they have local craft beer on draft for 4 dollars, but what sets them apart is the genuine friendly nature of the owner, his dog, and the other patrons. I try to get here at least a couple of times a month with one of my good friends to share a few beers, a cigar, and excellent company.

This is a really great place to stop and smoke a cigar after work. It’s not the best smoke shop I’ve ever been to, but it’s on up there. Let me just start out with the bad(i.e., why I only gave it four stars instead of five). First of all, the cigar selection isn’t huge. You’ll find a few varieties of the more popular brands like CAO and Montecristo, but the humidor is really not big enough to contain a huge variety of cigars. Maybe if they added a few more shelves, it would be. Also, because this shop is pretty small, it can get a bit too smoky if it gets crowded. Now on to the good stuff. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. I feel bad for not remembering his name(yeah, I’m one of those people who’s bad at remembering names) after being a semi-regular, but I do remember the dog’s name! He has a big old dog named Blaze that always hangs around the shop and adds a nice aura of friendliness to the place. There’s a nice, comfy couch and leather chair with a flat screen TV to chill out in. There are also a few small tables and a bar to sit at. There’s also a picnic table outside if you prefer smoking outdoors. Tobacco Road also has regular beer specials. Weekdays from 4−7pm is happy hour, which means $ 2 Readings and discounts on other beers as well. I love that he serves Shiner Bock… the best beer in the history of humanity! But even the Reading is pretty dang good for only two bucks. And after happy hour is over, Reading is still the cheapest beer at only $ 2.50. Honestly though, I think my favorite thing about this smoke shop is just the laid back, friendly atmosphere. The posted closing time is 10:00PM, but what he really means is that if nobody is there at 10:00PM, he closes up. If there are still people there enjoying themselves, he’ll stay open. I’ve been to one too many smoke shops where they tell you to hurry up and get out before they close, or just go smoke outside if you have to. Tobacco Road is not like that at all. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the FOODTRUCKS! Food trucks come by periodically during happy hour. There’s one consistent one though. A Thai food truck called DegThai comes by every Thursday night, and it’s pretty epic. Cigars, beer, and thai food actually go together surprisingly well! Honestly, I just have to give props to the owner here. He’s the owner, operator, cashier, and everything in between. He does this all on his own. And although this shop may not be the perfect smoke shop, it’s pretty darn impressive for a one-man company. This is the true epitome of a successful small(or should I say tiny) business.

This is a great cigar shop. They have a ton of premium cigars and several beers and even coffee to drink while you are chilling watching a Predators game or just enjoying your day. A lot of times Mike has his dog Blaze in the shop with him! He is a lot of fun to play with being that he’s probably bigger than most patrons. Blaze is a mix between a German shepherd and a Great Dane and he loves playing with empty beer kegs! So much fun. They often times will have a food truck parked out front for dinner, which makes for an even more enjoyable evening. If you are looking for a great, all-inclusive cigar shop– look no further.

My friend and I were planning to hit up a Thai restaurant for dinner. As I drive home to meet up with him, I noticed the Deg Thai Food Truck in front of Tobacco Road. So we decided to try two places at once! Once we had our food, we walked in to Tobacco Road to order a beer and enjoy our meal. We were greeted by the owner’s dog, Blaze, a German Shepard/Great Dane mix. Yes, a large dog, but very well mannered. He quietly sniffed my knee as to say hello, then went back to minding his own business. Being a smoke shop, smoking IS permitted indoors. Although, the only smell upon entering was the sweet smell of cigars. In addition to a humidor room, the shop has multiple high tops, two bars, and couches with two TV’s on opposing walls. The owner, Michael, was very welcoming and immediately offered to get us a drink. He has two beers on draft with a choice of 12 or 16 ounce glasses, and a selection of bottled beer. Since we had ordered food from the truck out front, we qualified for $ 1.00 off of the Sam Adams Seasonal draft. He’s currently serving their Summer Ale, and it tasted really good with our Thai dishes. After three, 12 ounce beers, and our $ 3.00 discount, our tab was less than $ 8.00. Yeah baby! By the end of our visit, I was playing tug of war with Blaze and his rope toy.

Good cigars, beer, sodas, and coffee. Relaxed atmosphere. Kick back and relax. Food trucks come by from time to time for good eats.
