I’m not gluten free– but this is one of the best bakeries out there. Period. That its all natural and can accommodate any allergy is just icing on the cake :)

Had a lemon and poppyseed muffin with a lemon glaze on top. It was so moist and flavorful but not too heavy or sweet. So delicious! I’ll definitely be back.

Being gluten-free sucks. *However* — sometimes you find a little hole-in-the-wall gem like the The Wild Muffin that makes life with celiac a little more bearable. Like everyone else has said, Antoinette is kind, knowledgeable(and arguably most importantly) a phenomenal baker! The apple cinnamon donut was my personal favorites, but her muffins are incredible. The only reason I give four, and not 5 stars is that there is no place to sit and enjoy your treats! It’s to-go only. Also, the prices are a little steep($ 4−5/muffin) but that comes with the gluten-free territory. I’ll definitely be back!

OMG! We are from Chicago and we were celebrating my sister’s 40th Birthday in Nashville. I placed a telephone call to Antoinette at The Wild Muffin in Nashville and asked her if it would be possible for her to make my sister a 40th Birthday Cake. My sister is not only allergic to gluten, but she is also allergic to dairy, nut, soy, cherry and pineapple. Antoinette completely outdid herself and what a great person she is. We had the most beautifully decorated, tastiest birthday cake with a strawberry and banana filling and frosting to die for, but the great taste did not end with the birthday cake. We also enjoyed, brownies, muffins, bread, cookies and moon pies that were absolutely out of this world!!! No matter what you get from The Wild Muffin in Nashville, you will not be disappointed. The Wild Muffin will be getting future orders from us to be delivered back here to Chicago. Thank you for the tastiest bakery goods ever. Whether you are gluten/vegan or have food allergies, you absolutely won’t find a better bakery anywhere! Debbie C.

This is my favorite bakery in Nashville. All of their food is delicious and is gluten free. Not only is the food delicious but the people that work there are the nicest people you’ll ever meet. They truly care about what they are making and you can tell they put a lot of passion in to their work. My moms birthday was a couple of weeks ago and she is a regular customer there. So I went in and asked what they thought she would like, they gave me suggestions and helped me so much! They said the cake would be ready by noon on Saturday but I got an email saying it was ready early. Definitely check this place out if you are interested in a delicious treat! You will leave with a happy belly and a smile on your face! I have posted a picture of the cake– cinnamon walnut with buttercream icing!(I added the colorful candles :))

A bit bummed… My husband and I used to frequent this place and/or would buy it at Whole Foods; however, we bought two muffins today and at $ 5.69 a piece we won’t be buying them any longer. $ 12 for 2 muffins is steep… The product overall is good, but I can’t in good conscious spend almost $ 6 on a muffin.

Stopped in for a sweet treat. Bought a «2 good for u» muffin and it was deeeeeliciouuuuus. Super moist. Not too sweet. It was like carrot cake with lots of walnuts and raisins. And it didn’t have any added sugar! We also sampled the oatmeal pattie cookie which was also tasty. Very nice lady there too. She knows her stuff. I recommend this place.

No joke the chocolate cupcake is so good that I almost cried. This little store is a must before checking out the record store a few doors down!

I love this bakery! Not only is it gluten free, but they have a number of dairy free items. The staff is super friendly and are happy to offer samples, recommendations, and advice for storing your treats(don’t refrigerate or it will dry your treats out, but you can freeze them). Everything I’ve had has been simply delicious! It isn’t a question of if I’ll go back, only a matter of when.

Stopped in for a quick snack and found my new favorite bakery in Nashville. The woman helping me was extremely nice and offered me a couple samples of different items. The chocolate cake with butter cream frosting was absolutely amazing. Very reasonable prices. I wish the selection was bigger but then I also was there at the end of the day. I will definitely be back.

This sweet little gluten free bakery outpost near the Charlotte Pike exit off of i-40 has friendly staff and management and a variety of gluten free treats, including muffins, cupcakes and quick bread style loaves and slices. My favorite is hands down the plain brownie. Special orders can be placed for anything they usually make and/or whole pies and cakes. Also special orders can be made sugar free and it is virtually impossible to find a sugar free wheat free baked treats anywhere else in Nashville. You can find products around town… Turnip Truck, Urban Juicer, etc… but if you have a chance to stop by the main location it is fun to see their operation at work. Oh… and it smells so good in there.

I’ve seen these treats at various coffee shops around the Metro Nashville area, and often ignored them. On the way to work, however, I happened to see this quant building holding the operations of The Wild Muffin. I was incredibly tired and short, but the owner treated me incredibly well. I settled for a fresh berry muffin and a trail mix one(for later). This muffin was divine. Gluten free. I didn’t ask about specific ingredients, but the berries were so rich, and the bread tastes like the most perfect and soft cornbread. I will say that my trail mix muffin stuck to the paper a little bit, but it was a day old, and this is to be expected. It came from the discounted muffin shelf, so this makes sense. I hope to have the pleasure to come here again! I’m glad they focus on muffins and nothing else. Some drinks in there you can pick up, simple hot coffee you pair with your muffin. So much love for this place though. If you already pick these up from coffee stores, make the journey to their store at least once.

The Wild Muffin is AMAZING!!! As a visitor from the Northwest, land of the organic and health conscious, I found this place to provide my vegan palate a delicious array of vegan AND gluten-free treats! This little bakery has such a wonderful and friendly staff and packs a LOT of flavor into their baked goods. I love the Gluten-Free Cinnamon Walnut muffin and the GF Pumpkin Cheesecake. I even took some home with me!!! Nashville is very fortunate to have this bakery. Not sure where Pb(other reviewer) went but they must have gone to the wrong place. All of the ingredients are listed on each item. Healthy people make healthy choices and I chose The Wild Muffin!!!

The Wild Muffin isn’t as healthy as it once was. In 2012, the muffins had nuts, fruits, and high-protein, high-fiber ingredients. Now, more of the muffins and products are high-sugar, high-fat. Additionally, the price per muffin has increased from less than three dollars to almost five. The ingredients list include ingredients such as «low-fat honey,» so the qualifier there indicates an assumption that consumers are uninformed about honey and other basic ingredients. I hope the Wild Muffin brings back some of its high quality products again, or renames itself to indicate that the whole business now has a different mission. There’s nothing wrong with bakeries that sell unhealthy sweets — many exist and bring pleasure to all of us! But, the Wild Muffin advertises itself as having«healthy» ingredients and products, and this simply is not really accurate.
