Just had to get out of the hotel room. To old for the bar scene. This place is thoroughly adult. Nice décor, custom cigars sold here that are made exclusively for the bar, but they don’t mind if you bring your own. Nice quiet spot. I will make this my place when I visit Nashville!

Nice cigar spot. First time here on visit to Nashville. It’s a hidden gem for cigar smokers. Located on the Music strip with many LOUD bars, but this place is quiet and relaxing. Knowledgeable staff and good TV coverage, music and pool tables. I will certainly be a regular when I come to Nashville.

Welcome addition to the neighborhood. Generally personable staff, laid back atmosphere. They have enough variety on the menu to satisfy anyone’s drink preferences. Hopefully the crowd from the neighboring bars does not start spilling over.

Went out for a friend’s bachelor party night and went to a few bars on Demonbreun — most all of which are about the same. State Room stood out to us as it wasn’t very packed, wasn’t blaring music, and looked like a nicer establishment than those around it — it definitely was. We weren’t looking for a rowdy time, so this was perfect. We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted by the bartender, Melanie. She was very personable, and offered suggestions for drinks and cigars. We got smokes and drinks, and it was a nice, laid back evening. Music was not pounding and lighting was nice — had a great ambience. I’m not the typical bar-goer, because they’re all loud and kind of dirty. State Room was a little pricier than the surrounding places, but that was fine for a better atmosphere. I’m definitely going to go back to The State Room though, as it was a very cool place to have a drink, a smoke, and chill out!
