Street Santa Claus of Bellevue stands in front of Home Depot gaily greeting the shopper as you drive in. Luther is not your average homeless paper hawker. He’s more positive than most. For me it’s worth the small donation for the paper because of his smile and«Merry Christmas» greeting, even if I don’t get around to actually reading the paper. Since this is the Home Depot closest to my home I shop here a few times a year mainly for Marigolds and other pretties to arrange in my flower beds. Today I was here for holiday shopping for my guy ~~ an assorted ratchet set for around $ 20, but he’s worth it. I also like the Bellevue Home Depot for its Glidden paint prices. Glidden has a good Consumer Reports rating and the paint people here have always mixed my colors accurately and given me free stirring sticks. The only caveat is that there’s a wait at certain times but it’s worth it. Luther the Street Santa of Bellevue told he’ll be out at the front drive most days until Christmas, and Santa is an annual holiday tradition for him. He’s one more reason I shop at the Bellevue Home Depot.

Waiting over twenty minutes to get help with multiple associates simply walking away. When inquiring about a replacement part no effort was made to find out where I could procure the part, simply they didn’t have it, despite the fact they are a verified Toro replacement part provider. I may be switching full time to Ace. At least they are helpful to their customers.

The store is clean and well organized, and the employees are always very helpful and friendly. I come here often for general home improvement projects, and I will occasionally order ship-to-store items online. Unlike the local Lowe’s, which has screwed up every online order I’ve made, Home Depot gets it right each time. I’m giving this location three stars for one reason: They regularly have employees trying to hawk screen porches and other things. I find this really rude.

Everyone is always super helpful here, and the store is always clean. Look for special deals, or special offerings like no interest purchases, it helped me a lot when I first bought my house and had lots of purchases all at once.

The Home Depot In Bellevue TN leaves a lot to be desired in customer service. I had seen a TV commercial where they are dancing to the song bare footin which was for decks and concrete. So I went to the local Home Depot and the told the girl working in the paint dept that I wanted the stuff I had seen on the commercial so she took me to a product called Restore. I told her I thought the can looked different and that I didn’t think it was the right product. She didn’t bother top show me anything else and insisted this was what I was talking about. So I bought the product and paid a painter 200 dollars to apply it on my concrete porch. It was awful. The worst product I had ever seen. That same night I happened to see the commercial again. The correct product was Deck Over for decks and concrete. Now home depot did give me a refund and the new product but I was already out 200 dollars. I couldn’t afford to hire the painter again and pay another 200 dollars. So My husband and I got stuck doing it. All because an employee could not show me the rest of the products they had for concrete. If she would have shown me the Deck Over product I would have recognized it right away. So because of her incompetence my back is killing me so is my husbands. We can barely move. Were not young anymore. If we wanted to paint I wouldn’t have hired someone to paint for us. You have questions ask Sherwin Williams not Home Depot. Think I will start going to Lowes and see how they do. It’s so nice to be a veterans and get treated like this. I think Home Depot should have paid the painter to come and do what he would have done the first time if we had been sold the right product. I am glad the painter was with me at the store so he heard her insist this was the right product. Now on to post on Facebook about how we were treated at Home Depot. Two-Point-Take: 1. Know what you need or have a purpose for your trip there. 2. Don’t be afraid to ask for help, they’re nice and knowledgeable! Just as you shouldn’t go grocery shopping hungry, you definitely shouldn’t go to Home Depot without a list or items in mind. Why? Because if you don’t, it’s very likely you’ll walk the big store, see all their great ideas and offerings and want to redo your whole house! Perhaps it doesn’t have that big of an effect on you, but I’m the daughter of an architect so home improvement things are fun to me! So far at this Home Depot(a large and well stocked one indeed), I’ve come across some very helpful people. My main goal was to get some gardening help and the lady there was patient and available. When it comes to stores like this, my best advice for not feeling overwhelmed and lost is to not be afraid to ask the employees for some help and direction! That’s what they’re there for. Now, it’s time to go dig me up some weeds in mah’ garden!

Stop number 57 on my «Repair the House» world tour, I stopped in for some doorstops. After some confusing directions around the store, we found what we were looking for. We continued looking around for some Kitchen Storage items, but despite the sign to the contrary, we could never find anything. I’m sure these REALLY big stores suffer from the fact that they are REALLYBIG but as «The New Guy» when it comes to this Home Repair and Improvement stuff it all seems unnecessarily daunting. They need a better system to get me what I am looking for. Though perhaps the entire point is that I have to wander past everything else I’m NOT looking for on my way around the store in some elaborate scavenger hunt.
