The Cosmetic Market may not have the selection that larger stores offer, but the customer service more than makes up for it. I’m kind of… challenged when it comes to applying eye makeup, and the sales associates are always patient and helpful. They don’t mind showing you how to apply a certain product. They’ve even done my makeup for me on a few special occasions at no charge. Also, they don’t try to push product on you. If you come in to buy a tube of lipgloss, they won’t try to sell you a million other things. Can’t recommend this place enough, and I hope to check out their Green Hills location soon!

I am still giving mad mad love to The Cosmetic Market because I always seem to find exactly what I am looking for and at great prices! Today’s visit was instigated by the fact that I ran out of the Bare Minerals powder foundation but I ended up walking away with a bag full of goodies that were 50% off too! I love that they carry brands that do animal testing such as Bare Minderals, Tarte, Cargo, and more, I scored my BM foundation powder, Cargo lipgloss, 4 metallic Cargo eyeliners, and a BM6 piece trial kit all for around $ 50. So needless to say… I am a happy camper. The sales associates are always super friendly too. I love Sephora just as much as the next girl but it’s so easy to support a locally owned business that carries some of the same products at fair prices!

Are you the type of person who loves to enter a cosmetic store, ooh and ahhh, and try samples of products? Well I am! And the Cosmetic Market is the place I was able to fondle all sorts of merchandise! Last night I ventured into the Cosmetic Market boutique location in Hillsboro Village, don’t shy away from the term boutique, because lack of room dimension does not correlate with lack of product selection. In fact, at the Cosmetic Market it was quite the opposite! They carried many of the most popular brands you’d find at other cosmetic havens such as bare minerals, philosophy, Bliss, and OPI. They also carry perfume, body washes, shampoos, and gift sets. Best of all, the prices were generally fair! The ladies who were working last night facilitated engaging conversation about cosmetics and Nashville alike so I never felt the pressure to buy anything from them; I did that on my own! If you are in or live in Hillsboro Village and need to replenish your arsenal of goodies, I’d check them out again!
