Spankys Sports Bar and Grill

Awesome little sports bar. Very friendly environment. The owner’s have a zero tolerance for drama which is welcomed. Karaōke four nights a week and an open mic night for comedy each Tuesday night. Great prices on drinks and food as well.

WOW! I expected this place to be a dingy dirty dive bar. Turns out it’s a very clean place with nice décor! I was really surprised!
Had a burger, it was ok. Drank beer, it was cold as ice! Played the jukebox, made me a rock star. Played poker (Last Call Poker League?) and had a great time.
All said and done, I enjoyed my time here, really enjoyed the space, and will be back!

Stopped in at Spanky’s sports bar by my home… they are always busy but when we went in… a lot of older peeps sitting at the bar… drinking and smoking! As an area for a small band and several televisions… there are about 10 tables and 2 pool tables… and Wi-​Fi …they serve food too but normal bar fare… sort of dark in here with a radio .I never saw a jukebox… bathrooms small but clean and bartender was friendly
Back home this would be a HOLE!!! But cheap!!!

The only cloud over this being top of the heap is it’s a smoker’s bar. Has great HDTV’s and pool tables and nice social atmosphere. However, if you are a non-​smoker it smells a lot like you are in an ash tray despite being clean and well kept. Bartender, Robin seems nice and clearly knew the clientele.

— Sports Bar = 3ish Stars… give or take… mostly take.
— Music Venue = 1 Star.
— Games /​Slots (pool, a few slots, virtual PGA golf game, etc) = ???
My husband played this bar about 1.5 years ago, and I was one of 5 people in the place. The stage is SMALL, and the sound is pretty bad.
I’ve been back once since his show after a hoooot softball practice, and the beer was, cold which we all were thankful for — even if one bottled Miller Lite is $ 4.50. (Isn’t that a lot for a dive bar? And ps — they don’t have anything on tap… just bottles /​cans.) Also, as you can see from the photos I took — the food is all fried, bar food. No thanks. The only thing that sounded good were the onion rings, because they’re battered in Black and Tan beer. :)
Smoking IS allowed in this bar.
Overall, it served its purpose, but I am pretty sure we’ll go elsewhere from now on. Nothing special.

Lundy Lee (former ‘Bar Car’ bartender) found this location when it was a run-​down, forgotten neighborhood hole in the wall. and he completely renovated the place. It’s a beautiful sports bar with plenty of HD screens and good sound from the satellite tv, a decent jukebox, and a stage where they host the Tuesday night open mic stand-​up comedy show for
