What a gem! This store is a new favorite. I’ve been looking at lamps for what seems like forever. I’ve just not found anything that I really like. I went to Recreations and found THE perfect lamp yesterday. The lamp absolutely changes the tone of the room. Lauren, thank you! You’re the best!

I enjoyed the selection of unique furniture and accessories here. It is sensory overload like Robin said earlier. But I love looking at all the choices and getting inspired. Their prices are pretty reasonable because there is always a sale.

Holy sensory overload. Talk about being overwhelmed. I admittedly do not have a very good eye for design, and just a walk through here proves that. This old house is chock full of furniture, artwork, silk (though very real looking) flowers, rugs, and «knick knacks». I didn’t even know what to focus on!
ReCreations does have designers on staff to help out, and I would most definitely need someone to take the reigns. There are beautiful pieces of furniture, exquisite lighting choices, and art that I’m sure is fabulous (again, I don’t posses an eye for art!).
If you like to decorate, or are a designer, I’m sure you would not feel as completely overwhelmed as I do in this place. It’s also right down the street from several other «design houses», so if you’re going to spend a day shopping for this sort of thing, make this a stop!
