Cool concept. The décor is fun and unique and I loved the animatronics, the rainforest sounds and the faux«rain». Much like its neighbor The Aquarium Restaurant, you will be paying a bit more for the experience. The food is not bad, but not quite worth the higher price(a meal for 4 people will usually run you close to $ 100). It’s definitely a cool place to experience at least once though, and I do recommend it.

I’ve been going to The Rainforest Café with my family since I was six and my Dad and I share the volcano dessert. Now that I’m an adult, anytime we’re near a Rainforest we get the volcano. This location in Nashville was awesome. Our server Shannon was bubbly and engaging and when she and Bethany heard about our tradition, they comped the volcano which was just going above and beyond. The customer service here is genuine and the employees really care about the people who come in. I love the Rainforest Café and I love this location! Southern hospitality at its finest.

This is my second time coming here. The first time for my kids. They were pretty freaked out when the rainforest«came to life.» We were seated right under the cheetahs! The service was good. The food was okay. However, those of us that had any type of meat ended up with sick stomachs for the next 24 hours! I’m sure I’ll come back with my kids one day, but we’re not in any hurry to. They really weren’t that impressed, but they had fun. Just an average, over-priced, touristy place.

Had a great time here celebrating a birthday with family. I think it is an awesome place for kids because of the décor and the ambiance. It is basically like having lunch/dinner in the jungle. The staff was very helpful and attentive as well, which is always appreciated. I would recommend making a reservation for larger parties although we did not have too many issues getting a table for 8 on a Sunday around noon without one. But the place filled up very quick after we got there and by the time we left, they had a waiting line. Go there for the ambiance(or to entertain some kids) and for the convenience of the location. The food is nothing spectacular but we all enjoyed our plates for what they were.

Food is awful :-(The atmosphere is fun for slightly older kids, but scary for our two year old.

For a family outing with a young child… this was a great choice. The animatronics and sounds made for an intestine meal for kids and parents alike. Service was pretty good and staff is very child friendly. Trade off from the profits going into the expensive atmosphere is the lack of high quality recipes. Kids food was the quality you would expect. The entrees(burger and Taste of the Islands) were a mixed bag. The meats were very well prepared and good. The sides.. fries.. «Caribbean rice» … and seasonal veggies were not all that. Taste profiles were off and the veggies were actually a little greasy…

We had a birthday party for my nephew who just turned 4 and we had a party of 16 with us and even though there was plenty of room they sat us at 2 separate tables. I think if they couldn’t accommodate that they should have told us previously. I completely understand that there are fire codes to go by but we were completely not in the way of anyone’s safety. The staff was rude when we asked if we could push our tables together so the family could be together to celebrate his birthday. You would figure since this a kid friendly atmosphere they would designate an area or at least try to accommodate a larger party considering the amount of money you are going to spend in this establishment. Not to mention this is an every year thing.

It took our server 15 mins to come and say hello and take our drink order. The food was mediocre and VERY over price!!! Neat atmosphere for kids but not worth the $ or wait.

While my children(2&4) loved this restaurant, I remain unimpressed. The food was good, not excellent, and the selection was odd. Not just rainforest themed or something like that. There was no apparent theme, just strange choices. Same with the music selection. Be aware, the«storm» that goes off ever 15 – 20 min. with the roaring animals scared my 2 year old quite a bit and it took some doing to get her to enjoy it. Also, they no longer put the sparkler in the volcano desert, which is very disappointing. Finally, be sure to make a reservation as wait can be quite long.

I absolutely adore ALL Rainforest Cafes. I have since I was a kiddo myselfie :) There is not a thing in that restaurant that will bore the eyes. Animated animals everywhere on the walls, fishies in tanks, & servers disguised as Safari guides. So much fun even just for a visit into the gift shop. I, myself, am partial to the queso cheese dip for appetizer & the Pastalaya for my Entrée. If you ever have a sweet tooth, treat yourself to their Chocolatey Caramely super fantastic Sparkling Volcano dessert. It is so so gud! :D The gift shop has nice items for everyone of all ages & very reasonable prices. I am a fan. Always will be. This place is tha bomb no matter where you visit :) This specific location was particularly very clean. The very very kind employees in the gift shop let my husband & I take all the time we needed to get our little girl the perfect souvenirs :)

We enjoyed 4th of July lunch here. The service was great, however the food was basic. I had a cheese burger w/no bun. It was nothing to really brag about but they did fix it med. well as requested. That’s a great win! However, the kids loved the rainforest scenery and our waiter was great. Will def vist again.

Service was ok could have gave waiter maybe 3 stars. But food was not good, shrimp was over cooked. Roast chicken was plain no flavor, green beans were raw. The tea was good and our app was pretty good, this was why they received the 2 stars. I always visited RFC when I visit a town or state that has one always been a fan, I think I will spend my money else were from now on.

Salmon was awesome. Tortellini was very good. Service was very good. Kind of pricey. But overall, would recommend it. Very entertaining with the«live animals» and the aquarium live fish also interesting.

We took the kids here today. Our service was excellent. Zach did everything right. The food was good, not great. $ 100 ticket for the four of us. Well worth the memories.

I give this place 5 stars on atmosphere! WOW! Very creative, pretty, adventuresome and fun! It’s a experience and my grandson was completely mesmerized! The food was just ok, it gets 3 stars. We had the Ruben, nachos, chicken kids meal and one lizard cup filled with a icey drink. My Ruben was better than the nachos. Our server Jaime was over the top great and made us feel very special. I would not go for the food but the experience and the look on Masons face will make me bring him again. Being in the mall, if you like malls is also a plus if you are wanting to shop. The mall is very nice with several good stores.

First. You better be a Landry Select Member or be ready to go to the food court to eat a snack while you wait. And be kid friendly if you eat or work there. And buy your new Coach merchandise first. You may not be able to afford it unless you use a credit card. But my grandson enjoyed himself. Only for a child’s entertainment would I go through the loud dinner we had. It’s a place for kids of all ages, but not for me.

My husband & I took my brother & his family to dinner here during our visit to Nashville, TN. My sister in-law suggested making a reservation since the wait is apparently long all of the time. She was right, 1 hour, 15 minutes. I would definitely make sure you have a reservation. Despite having a reservation, we still waited about 30 minutes for a seat. They don’t have the typical buzzing circles that alert you to your awaiting table, they text you. The nice thing is, they’re in the mall, so you can walk around a bit plus they have a very interactive store where you can shop around while you wait. Our table of six was seated at the back right of the restaurant between the kitchen entrance and the bathroom entrance next to the Tiger Family display. Not an idea place to sit. Every 1 – 3 minutes someone is coming out screaming ‘Volcano” or singing Happy Birthday to a guest. If possible, you might consider requesting another seat. The ordering process is easy enough. The waitress seemed to really know what was on the menu & was confident in her suggestions. The restaurant seemed to be out of at least one ingredient for every drink my husband tried to order. As a side note, their mixed drinks are quite week. Might be best to stick with beer/wine. It’s a very nice touch to get to keep the glass though! My husband and brother both got a rib meal that neither seemed to really enjoy. I had a primavera that wasn’t too great, just too much oil. My sister in-law had a turkey wrap which was good and the kids thoroughly enjoyed their meals. All in all, I would say it’s over priced for sure, but you pay for the experience I guess. The kids loved the animal & rainforest noises throughout dinner but they too hated sitting at the kitchen door hearing the staff scream ‘volcano’ every few minutes. We shopped in the store after dinner and took some photos. It was a nice time over all for us.

My husband and I were so excited to eat here and check out their beautiful fish! The fish are really cool, they’re the highlight of the restaurant. The décor is dated and dusty, the sound effects are loud and would scare me if I was a child. The worst part was the food. I ordered a wrap with grilled portabella, it was freezing cold, my husband’s steak was lukewarm and his mashed potatoes were disgusting at cold. I think they need to really amp up the quality of the food, it was SO bad. We were very disappointed and will absolutely never go back.

Come for the dusty décor but I can’t recommend staying for the food. Had the Amazon Feast that tasted like it was prepared 6 hours before we arrived. Chicken was dry and unflavorfull. Ribs were bland and over boiled.

I came here with my family last year and my husband this year. It’s so much fun to eat in here. The food is pretty good but it can be bland at times. Last year, I got the Pastalaya and it was spicy but had no flavor. I’ve been told it may have been an off day and I should try it again but it’s so expensive and we rarely come here so I probably won’t unless I find myself here a lot. We also got the Sparkling Volcano last year and it was delicious. Of course, the most entertaining part is screaming«Volcaaaaaanoooooooo» with everyone in the restaurant like they do every time they bring one out. This year my husband and I shared the Lava Nachos and the Rasta Pasta(with added sausage). Both were excellent and filling. My husband also got the Iceblaster Cherry and enjoyed it. It’s enjoyable to sit and watch the animals move whenever a «thunderstorm» comes through. Our waiter, Robert, was very good as well. My family will be back eventually. When we do I really want to try one of their coconut shrimp dishes next time I come. Favorite Things: Lava Nachos Sparkling Volcano Ok: Rasta Pasta Not as good: Pastalaya
