Pure an Organic Salon

My first experience at Pure yesterday was in one word — blissful
The salon itself is snuggled in marathon village and parking is free across the street. As you wall down the hall you can sense and notice the history of the building.
The receptionist was welcoming and clever. It’s something I never knew was lacking in my last salon until now.
My appointment was with the hairstylist Ray. I found her warm and inviting before even sitting in her chair. Her professional, and tranquil composure put my nerves at ease. (I just left my hairdresser of 4 years and found Pure online). Ray really listened to me and was honest on what would work with my face type. She gave my head a wonderful massage while washing my hair, and never pushed conversation.

My experience at Pure was nothing short of amazing! I’m a super picky client but Sarah far exceeded all of my expectations and then some. From the initial offer of High Garden tea to the arm and hand massage after shampooing I was blown away. This is all in addition to the quality of my cut and color of course which is out of the park! I couldn’t be more pleased and I will be recommending Pure to all of my friends as I know they will love it as much as I do. So glad I found this unbelievable gem!

Absolutely love this salon! Pure did all of the hair and make-​up for my wedding party of Nov 7, 2015. Everyone looked INCREDIBLE! They have fabulous organic products that smell amazing and held up for the entire day. All of my girls looked beautiful! Sarah did my hair and Caitlin did my make-​up. they are both so talented and perfected my look! All of the girls received so many compliments! The best part is that the team was so sweet and so much fun to work with! I would highly recommend their services!

Pure is a great salon. You’re welcomed by a nice receptionist who greats you with a smile and tea. Ray highlighted my hair and it turned out great! She was so friendly and thorough. I have blonde hair and find it difficult to find someone who can give me a blonde look without the roots sticking out after a few weeks. She did a great job picking out the right highlight and lowlight tones that worked for me. I would recommend her to anyone!

I adore this clean, beautiful space! The salon and spa are both awesome but this review is for the skin therapist Sarah C. I have done several facials with Sarah and she is absolutely AMAZING! She has the most fantastic, tranquil vibes and is always so calming and relaxing. I have also seen her for body treatments, waxing, and my favorite– reiki. She knows exactly what my skin needs (mostly more water) and is always ready with tons of answers to my questions.

I love Pure! I’ve only had my hair done by a particular stylist, Amanda Foster, who is AMAZING! Amanda is so sweet and seems very down to earth! She is very good at communicating with her clients, which I find to be really important in this profession, especially as the client. Amanda loves hair and she loves people and she loves when people love their hair. Personally, that’s my kind of stylist. :)
All of the stylists at Pure are so friendly and you can see they love what they do while also giving their clients the best care, which is very cool (for me) to see. The atmosphere is very calming and their products, of course, are amazing! Nothing but love for this salon!

I don’t think I can put it into words how obsessed I am with Sarah at pure! She makes you feel very comfortable and super relaxed! I walk out feeling amazing after every facial! Beautiful location and it always smells delicious!

What a great salon. Seriously, its actually really awesome.
I am not a ‘salon’ type girl. I tend to skip haircuts (long hair) and if pampering myself, I get a massage. But this place makes me want to get facials, haircuts, and blowouts. I have been here two times, and both times they have been absolutely amazing. The staff is kind, friendly and extremely talented. The atmosphere is relaxing but really awesome. Glass of wine before your haircut, why not? Not your thing, have some tea, coffee or chilled water. They also use all vegan products, which is amazing because they get better results with my long hair then any other place who doesn’t use vegan products.
If you want a place to get a little pampering at a good price, or just get your regular haircut or eyebrow wax, go here. Even my manly husband loved his eyebrow wax. He felt pampered when she put a haircut gown over him to just cut a little of his eyebrows. Wow — what attention to detail!
Cant wait to go back. For a salon in Nashville, this is the place.

I found out about this place because they had left some cards at the Shakti yoga studio on Music Row. I never pick up stuff like that so I’m not sure why I did this time, but I’m really glad I did! I booked an appointment on a whim for a Brow sculpt the next day. Sarah did an excellent job. I fought the urge to tell her specifically what to do with my eyebrows. Sometimes it’s best to just leave it to the pro… My brows have never looked better! I’m looking forward to returning for a facial.

I loved my color service Ethan Tapp provided. He turned my «brassy» blonde into a cool ash blonde. I also received a Malibu treatment and was at first hesitant about if it would work, but as soon as i was done i immediately noticed a difference. My hair felt softer, cleaner, and even looked brighter. So happy to finally find my permanent salon with a great stylist. Thank you Ethan!

I really enjoyed my time at Pure. This was my first visit, and i plan on going back. I was drawn to this salon because of there line of their cruelty free products. I had also just had my last bad experience at other salons. Now that I have found pure, I do not plan on going back to any other place. I had a Malibu treatment done by Ethan, and i would recommend it to anyone that once a boost in hair confidence. Its a treatment that leaves your hair feel really really smooth and healthier. Ethan was especially attentive, and made sure that i was 100 percent comfortable the entire time, something that is often lacking in a salon.
I also had a facial from Sarah who was also very friendly and attentive, it was very relaxing and well worth the money I felt welcomed by everyone, even when I called to book the appointment I was treated so well. Everyone was nice, and I am looking forward to my next visit.

Loved my first visit to Pure! Sarah did my facial, and the whole process was extremely refreshing and relaxing. She was very knowledgable about the skincare products and the techniques she used and is a true advocate for organic care. She also confidently helped me hone in on the areas that give me the most trouble. My face felt much more radiant afterwards. I need to make sure that I leave time to visit Pure again the next time I’m in Nashville!
