Piggly Wiggly

This was my first time shopping at the pig. I needed razors and for some reason they only carry the cheap plastic handled disposables. This was a disappointment for sure, but they made up for it with a good selection of souvenir t-​shirts! Maybe the pig can expand it’s razor line to carry at least
one normal razor :-)

The parking lot here is awful, with an interior ambiance to match, but staff were friendly and the selection was solid — couldn’t head back without checking a PW out, though we copped out by just getting something better purchased elsewhere, some birch beer for $ 4.06.

When I moved to Nashville, I was introduced to the Piggly Wiggly («The Pig»).
The first thing that caught my eye was the Pick-​5 offers. Mainly for the meat department, but with select other items, the Pick-​5 for $ 19.95 is a great deal. They have some of the brands that I can’t find at Kroger. Plus they have $ 0.25 cans of soda available!
Throughout the year, they have truck sales where they have a ton of meat in a refrigerator truck at great deals.
The one thing I like the most is if you live around the neighborhood, they will let you rent a cart to help get your food home if you leave some form of collateral (an ID, EBT card, debit card).
I’ve become a fan of «The Pig». It has definitely become one of my primary grocery stores.

They have an excellent selection of frozen biscuits.
