Peabody Park is a really well-maintained little spot with a good view of the dancing nudes sculpture near Music Row. It’s about one block in size, with very green grass(thanks to the sprinkler system), a sculpture of a pianist, a circular walkway made of fancy brickwork, and some expensive-looking shrubbery. I’m pretty sure this park is owned by one of the businesses nearby, so it’s probably the most manicured and least sketchy park in Nashville. But don’t worry, it is open to the public. I shared the park with a sunbather and a photographer, but there were plenty of benches(and a trash can for each bench, which seemed excessive to me) for everyone. The periphery of the park is lined with magnolia trees, which provide shade and serve as a buffer between you an all the traffic going by on Demonbreun. Peabody Park is a pleasant, centrally located, very clean bit of green space to go and read a book or have a picnic.
