Great staff. Good beer. Plenty of room. Relaxing setting. Will come back next time I am in Nashville.

We had a courtyard story telling and live blue grass party at our home early this autumn, and Little Harpeth Brewing catered our beer. Lager-style Chicken Scratch was perfect for this type of warm evening and light dinner. There were several people there who had swung on the original rope swings of the Harpeth(as depicted on the label) some home brewers, and a load of true connaisseurs of beer, local and international. Our guests had high standards for beer and they were very impressed by Little Harpeth. They plan to visit the Brewery to compare the the other types of ales and lagers. For our future parties, we will for sure have Little Harpeth on hand.

Refreshing, Outstanding & Delicious — And With Quite The View! SITREP There is this wonderful gem across the Cumberland River from Downtown Nashville, and it is called the Little Harpeth Brew. Now the view of downtown is impressive, and made even more impressive whilst sipping ales and taking selfies! So don’t let it’s rustic environment, and quasi-state of not-quite-up-to-code standards(«codes, schmodes», *spits*) dissuade you from the wondrous brews this place has! Plus the«Batman Building»(AT&T) towers nearby(sorta), in it’s «protective embrace»: THESETUP This was a rare treat to see a work-in-progress as the establishment is being built from the ground up(so to speak): * We got to see the areas where a planned restaurant & it’s kitchen were going to be built with the vision of the owner filling in the details * There were also be a long free-standing bar where the taps will be placed and the amber liquid of the gods will herald forth! THEBREWS Right now, Little Harpeth Brewing is featuring five(5) brews, and they include: (1) Chicken Scratch — a crisp American-style Pilsner made from malted barley, with a slight residual sweetness from the local corn. (2) Upstream — a San Francisco-style Lager that is amber colored with a flavor offset by Northern Brewer Hops. (3) High Water — a Dunkel Lager inspired by the traditional brown beers of Munich, Germany. (4) Stax — a Black Lager that gets it’s roasty flavor from black malts; and, (5) Double Paddle — a Doppelbock, brewed in the tradition of Franciscan Monks, it is a high gravity beer made with traditional German malts. I sampled most of them, but found myself attracted immediately to the extremes of the spectrum, settling on the Double Paddle for my first go-arounds(because I was hungry — go figure — and there’s nothing like«liquid bread»), then enjoying the light finish that the Chicken Scratch provided. But all the brews were delicious and it was incredible experience to be able to taste them right out of the barrels. THELOWDOWN A truly enjoyable & refreshing ale experience in Nashville!

Not open to the public just yet. Hit up the Brew Bus. Great local beer. They focus on a variety of lager style brews. Only available in their local county.
