We had a fantastic time at Kayne Prime. They parked the car and attended to everything perfectly. We arrived on time for our reservation, checked and proceeded to the bar. Just after we received our drinks, the hosts approached us and lead us to our table. Our waiter and his assistant were very attentive. We started with the black kale salad. It is enough for two so we split one and it was perfect. My wife had the Wagyu filet and I went with the NY Strip. Both were perfect. We tried the Risotto Tater Tots and they were amazing. The charred broccoli was just ok. The chocolate bomb dessert was the perfect way to complete the meal. At the end of the evening, our car was retrieved instantly. Thanks for a perfect anniversary experience.

The atmosphere and the staff are always great! The cotton candy bacon and the lobster popcorn appetizers are also extremely good and definitely worth the value. The Wagyu Filet was extremely salty and I was not a fan at all. The second time I went to Kayne Prime, I ordered the NY strip and it was very tough. Both experiences with their steak was not good. The appetizers and sides were wonderful though!

Hands down, the best meal I have ever eaten. If you stop in Nashville, eat here. This meal is going to affect your wallet but the food is worth it. EVERYTHINGWASMAGIC. Now I’m hungry.

My now boyfriend and I went here for our first date. It is definitely pricey, but it’s also definitely delicious. The server was very attentive and gave a good recommendation on wine. I had the pinot noir, belle glos. It went perfect with my steak, which is probably one of the best steaks I’ve had, ever. I ordered the wagyu filet… sooo gooood! My boyfriend ordered the strip, which was good but not worth the price in comparison. The server recommended potatoes aligot as a side. I’m honestly not a potato person but also the best I’ve had. The bruleed corn was delicious. There was literally nothing I didn’t like. If you’re prepared to spend a lot for a great meal, it’s definitely worth it! Parking is valet only. I believe it was free excluding the tip.

Stopped in last Thursday night by myself for a quick bite to eat prior my flight out later that night. While they were busy, I easily found a seat at the bar in front of a TV, and literally 5 bartenders. Given the number of people behind the bar, i thought I would have been pleasantly greeted immediately… but interestingly enough I had to flag down someone to wait on me. Regardless, I ordered a drink and let the bartender know I was going to eat. Ordered the house made bacon and a filet… both showed up quickly and were good but not great. As I was getting ready to order another glass of wine I was greeted with my check, so I just cashed out. Truth be told, nice atmosphere and good food but very pricey — I’ve had better steaks at a better price in Nashville.

Here at a conference and this place was recommended. Boy am I glad we came! The Waygu beef is fantastic. The potatoes gratin is so good. Mushrooms. Everything was good. The house made bacon with cotton candy on top was a treat. Great service. Price is what you expect at a great steakhouse. Would return for sure!

This is our favorite restaurant out of all others! Every meal we have is always consistently amazing with great service. The Waygu is my favorite, my husband likes the USDA cuts the best. I think the sampler is the perfect way to try everything. The sides are like heaven on a plate. The creamed spinach is my favorite — it’s a rich creamy concoction topped with a fried egg We’ve been to every steakhouse in Nashville and plenty of others in big cities all over but Kayne Prime is always impossible to beat!

I have the best steak I ever had at Kayne Prime Steakhouse. We also had the roasted bone marrow, the cream corn brulee and the Risotto tater tots. This place is amazing.

Best place in Nashville. I have been living in here for a few years. It is nice to see some restaurants like this in this town.

We celebrated our anniversary at Kayne because it came highly recommended. The steaks were good and corn brûlée. Service was excellent, atmosphere very nice, wine menu was nice also… Specialty and martini drinks limited. I always get nervous when the bartender says«I can make anything», anyone can make anything whether it’s good is another story. If it’s not on the menu I don’t order and my husband and I travel quite a lot. Dinner was nice, well priced but the desert menu was extremely lacking. Hoping to enjoy some southern deserts such as Bourban pecan pie, southern cheesecake, or deep dish apple, those items were not there… just 3 cookies. I’ve had better and I’ve had worse, but nothing special here other than the celebrity clientele.

The service was amazing. We had Alex as our server and he was super helpful and had a great personality. We got the bacon as instructed and the wagyu strip was very good and flavorful. We loved the vibe of this place and food was incredible, we will be back for sure. The service was what sent it above and beyond. Seasonal cocktail was incredible and the place was not pretentious at all, very welcoming. Give this place a try if you are in Nashville!

2nd visit in 6 yrs. Ordered the 8oz wagyu strip steak with a side of creamed spinach, and two glasses of wine. Impeccable service, outstanding delivery, delicious meat. Outstanding. I would come here more often if I could afford wagyu beef, weekly!

I don’t even know where to begin. Everything was amazing. The service, the drinks, the food, the atmosphere. We started off with the popcorn buttered lobster. Phenomenal. The lobster melted in your mouth. I ordered the Wagyu Filet and husband had the progression of strip. We both had bone marrow butter on top. The steaks were seared to perfection. The filet was amazing. Of the three strips, my husband liked the Australian Wagyu the best. We also ordered the macaroni with jalapeños and bacon and the cream corn brûlée. We didn’t love the brûlée, but really enjoyed the macaroni. We decided on whiskey and the chocolate pistachio mousse for dessert. Everything was so delicious and we can’t wait to go back. Very expensive but I would pay twice over for the food!

I did a lot of research before picking a place to take my mom for her birthday and I wasn’t disappointed with Kayne Prime. The service was top notch: my mom dropped her napkin and I got up to pick it up for her. Before I could even finish standing up to hand the napkin back to her, someone had already brought her a new one. I was also very impressed that my glass never got less than ¾th full before someone was coming over to refill it. One of our main objectives was for a top notch steak on this special day. Kayne Prime is one of the few Nashville steakhouses that does world famous Japanese beef. We tried it and I am pretty sure that we will be ruined for all other steak forever. The sides were also delicious and easily shareable. Everything from the appetizers to the dessert was wonderful. They even gave mom a complimentary dessert with a candle to blow out for her birthday. Other tips: people were in jeans and shirts so it was still pretty causal despite having a dress code(no shorts, tank tops, or open toed shoes on men). They also offer complimentary valet service. The only draw back was quite a few stairs to get up, so if you are with someone with limited mobility, keep that in mind. If you are looking for a great place for special occasions, this place should be on your list. It is expensive but worth the money for a fabulous treat for yourself or someone you love.

Fantastic steak house that would be welcome in NY(the home of the steakhouse) or any big city. A real fine dining experience with creative sides(creamed corn brûlée!) and desserts and a good wine & cocktail selection. Service excellent and the brioche-ilk popovers very nice. Having seen a preference locally of too much salt to our taste, they were very accommodating about giving us all«low salt» preparations.

I’ve never gone to a steakhouse and woken up angry. Until this morning. Reservations at 8:30. Arrived at 8:20. «Head to the bar and we’ll get you when your table is ready.» Perfect. Ordered a drink. Then noticed a remix of Troye Sivan’s YOUTH being played. Seriously Kayne, wtf is that? I forget the song that came on after but it was not what I expected from Nashville’s «top» steakhouse. The bar was reminiscent of those Bill Brasky SNL skits; a bunch of middle aged men getting shitfaced and yelling at each other. Right next to the bar I see a table being prepared and I pray that table isn’t for us. It is. Our server comes over and begins listing the specials but pauses, looks over his shoulder at the bar and states«some people think this is a sports bar.» When it’s all said and done, my steak was overcooked and slightly oversalted but still pretty good. One of my co-worker’s steaks was prepared incorrectly so he had to wait another 15 minutes or so for a new one. The sides, which were portioned to share, were underwhelming in both size and taste. Overall, the food wasn’t bad. It’s just overhyped and not worth the price.

Don’t say anything nice unless you have something nice to say… right? Nope, it’s been 5 years since I’ve written a review and I’m back to write another not-so-positive one. Still reppin’ the West coast as if 2pac were alive. Well, there’s a few good things to say… 1. Creamed corn brulee w/roasted jalapenos(no seeds) was delicious — enough to feed 2 – 3 as a side dish. 2. The complimentary pastry was delicious. 3. Service is on point. THEBADSTUFF I came in with the expectation of spending close to $ 100(after taxes + tip) and this meal does not warrant the price tag… not one bit. This is a poor representation of quality beef. I’ve grilled USDA prime(no seasoning) at Japenese BBQ restaurants that had much more depth and flavor than the wagyu here. I ordered the Progression of NY Strip which includes USDA Prime, American Wagyu, and Australian Wagyu. I patiently waited ~40 minutes for my meal and the steaks came out COLD. I’m not one to complain, but damn, this plate costs $ 59! The server was very nice and allowed me to replace my steaks for the Australian Wagyu. The one piece of USA Prime I had was bleh. The Australian Wagyu came out warm but was fairly dry, a bit tough, and lacked flavor. Wait… wagyu cooked medium rare that’s tough!!! Yup :( I enjoyed Peg Leg Porker and Otaku much more at a fraction of the price. Was really looking forward to this meal on a Friday evening after working my ass off the entire week. Sincerely, –Asian dude that had to remove his hat inside because he only looked at pictures of the meat online(drooled at them) and totally disregarded the attire. P. S. Unilocal elite me. WESTSIDE.

Here on a business trip a group of us was told this was the place to go. A must try when in Nashville. One of our business associates made the reservations. Reservations: they don’t open till 5 pm. You leave a message on an answering machine and they call you back. When we got the answering machine we left a message and didn’t think we would get a call back. We went online to RSVP and we’re told they would not have anything till two weeks out. Well, a few minutes later we get a call that we can’t do 6pm but they could fit us in at 530 pm. Score. 1st impression: we walk in to this dark area and beautiful red crystal Chandlers hanging from the ceiling. They were very friendly and got us to out table quickly. Service: We were greeted by one server who started our drinks and informed us that we had several choices in water. Sprinkling water, Voss, or regular tab water fliter. Next a waiter who took our appetizer order and who informed us of how Thier facilities worked. Appetizers: oysters are 4.50 a piece and and very salty. Provided two sauces. Then we had the cheese platter there wasn’t much on the plate would have been good for 1 person. Then we had the cotton candy bacon. They stated big enough to share but not really l. It was delicious. We bypass the salad. Dinner: steaks we over salted, cold. But they we tender. The sides the potatoes we great the mushrooms and pepperoni were awesome and the broccoli was a little over cooked. My bill for me was 68.00, my teammates 100, 89, 45, 70. Great for a first time but I won’t be coming back. They seated us in the bar which got very packed.

As a typical female, my high expectations for Valentine’s Day rarely line up with reality. Well, this past weekend, my husband scored major Valentine points by planning a romantic and delicious surprise dinner at Kayne Prime! Little does he know, this may need to become a tradition because I am pretty sure it was the best meal I’ve had here in Nashville! We got the bacon appetizer to begin because how can you not order bacon with cotton candy if that is an option? To wash down our delicious bacon, I had a basil strawberry cocktail. My husband had a whiskey cocktail called the coup. Clearly our drink preferences are quit opposite, but we were both impressed! For $ 10(which is now the going rate for ANY cocktail in Nashville), I thought it exceeded expectations. So much so that we talked about returning to the bar just for a cocktail one night in the future. For dinner, I got the Wagyu filet mignon and my husband got the progression, which included 3 oz servings of three different types of NY strip. Both were amazing and literally seemed to felt in your mouth! He enjoyed getting to learn a little history about where each meat came from. His dish also came with salt, pepper, and garlic on the side. I appreciated the simplicity. With such great cuts of meat, you don’t need a lot fancy seasoning or sauce to accompany them. As impressed as I was with the steak, I was even more impressed with the sides! With a nice steak house like Kayne Prime, I usually expect the steak to be better than the sides. But the brussels and cream corn brulee that our server recommended were extraordinary! Even the rolls were amazing! We ended the meal with another drink and the night’s speciality chocolate and berry dessert. Overall, the dining experience at Kayne Prime was top notch! Our waiters, Scott & Jason, were fabulous and went above and beyond to make our night memorable.

As soon as we walked in it felt like the place to be. Atmosphere was buzzing and everyone looked like they were enjoying themselves. We had a reservation but it was mistakenly entered for the following day. We were sat within 20 minutes, after being reassured by the hostess that they would take care of us in a very positive attitude. We shared Kayne’s signature«bacon» with cotton candy appetizer. It was very savory but reminded me more of pulled pork(they shred it table side) than«bacon». We also shared bone marrow for the first time and was surprised that i really like it. I had the 24 ounce Ribeye with the gratin potatoes. The cheese in those things are a heart attack waiting to happen. My steak was medium rare on the inside and chard to a crisp on the outside just how i like it! BYFARBESTMEALOF2015!!!

My first time in Nashville my boyfriend brought me to many different restaurants across town and Kayne Prime was by far the best. Popcorn buttered lobster was probably the best appetizer I’ve ever had in my life. Lobster was delicious and perfect. I almost want to fly back to Nashville from Chicago just for that. Filet was great and flavorful. Our server was friendly and very knowledgeable. Drinks were pretty good and strong. If anyone is in the area I HIGHLY recommend!!! Yummmmy!

Had a great dinner with my wife here last night. My wife had an Amaretto Sour. She says it’s the best she has ever had. I believe her, she barely drinks and ended up having 3! As our appetizer we had the Duck Tacos. The textures and flavors work so well together. I absolutely love the Grape Tomato Salsa they us on them. For our main course we ordered the New York Strip, Lobster Tail, Cream Corn Brûlée, and Potato Gratin. The steak was a perfect medium rare and seasoned perfectly. Our waiter told us about the special process they use to cook the lobster tail. It was so good, it had a slight sweet flavor. You seriously have to try it. The Cream Corn Brûlée has a sugar top that the server cracks for you and the dish is just awesome. We order it every single time we go. The potatoes were loaded with cheese and just great! We always get Nate as our waiter. He is absolutely the best. He is informative and overall a really good guy! Ask for him, you won’t regret it!
