Another halal location here in the Antioch area. Halal certified meats have been inhumanely killed, barbaric 7th century practices. I will not eat at halal restaurants.

Ordered Greek salad with lamb. Always fresh and tender. Fresh pita bread and fabulous service. The sign says Best Gyro but i believe this used to be Gyro International. Highly recommended.

The best gyros and chicken plates around. Always fresh. My kids love it, too.

It took me a minute to realize this was the place I was looking for, it’s now«Best Gyros» and it’s everything I look for when I decide it’s gyro time. Cheap, big, sooooooo delicious. My husband and I went in on new years day when weren’t feeling so… ehem…good. We walked in and ordered right away. The ladies behind the counter were so nice and cracking jokes, we really liked them. We both got regular gyros mine with a HEAPING order of rice and my husband got the fries. He was happy to feel no judgement from them then when he ordered a very«Americanized» gyro. They happily make it however you want it. I was able to get two meals out of mine. It was so good and reasonable and it’s right down the street, Can’t wait to come back for more!

This place is ok, nothing to rave about, nothing to complain about. I can’t consciously say anything negative about the food, everything tastes fine. There’s simply nothing that differentiates this place from the millions of other gyro establishments popping up around town. Their prices are fairly inexpensive(gyro plate and drink come to about $ 8) and the portions are huge. The menu has pretty much the standard options for a gyro joint. You’ll leave full and reasonably satisfied… just not wowed. I’d also like to note that the shabby décor is deceiving; it’s actually spotlessly clean in there. Bottom line: if you’re in the area and in need of a gyro fix, this place will do the trick, but I wouldn’t necessarily go out of my way to grub there.

I eat here at least 2x a week. I always get the gyro plate, no onions and cucumber sauce on the side and feta cheese on top. Yum yummy! The workers are very friendly. They recognize their repeat customers and always pile the food on high. Also, a must try are the baclawva(I know I spelled that wrong but if you ask for it they will know what it is). Ask if they are fresh(they are best the same day). Get the square ones and you will not be disappointed!

I believe this place changed management. The restaurant is called«Best Gyros» now. The store is very clean and like most gyros places, it’s always empty because most people get the food to go. I had the Gyro salad to-go(salad, gyros, pita bread, and ranch sauce). Salad was fresh and served in a big portion. I never had bad gyro before but the gyro here was a big disappointment. The gyro had no flavor whatsoever. How can a place called«Best Gyros» has the worst gyro ever! The pita bread was on the tough side. I bit one small piece and threw the rest away. I had gyro salads many time before and never had to use the ranch unless it was really bad. «May be the ranch sauce will save this!», I thought… Nope. Ranch sauce was watered down so much, it tasted nothing like ranch. I was starving after gym but I gotta admit this was the worst salad in my life! Although the portion was big and the price was cheap, I don’t think I would return. Try Kouzina Gyros down the road(nears Electronic Express), they have the BESTGYROS! 2013/#87

Nice flavor and service was above average. Price was more then reasonable on a combo. I would return

This place was really good! It is in a strip mall but don’t let the location scare you off. The food is reasonably priced and plentiful! I was working in the area for the week and ate here a couple of times. I would definitely recommend it! I got the gyro sandwich and seasoned fries both times… because they were so good the first time!

Tried the Gyro pocket, was not a fan. Came here looking for a cheaper alternative to Blue Fig, did not find it here. It is cheaper, but I’d rather just pay more. Nothing specifically wrong i can put my finger on, I just didn’t care for the flavor of the food and décor.

This place gives you HUGE portions of food for like $ 6. It’s crazy. I get the gyro plate and it comes with rice, veggies, and an enormous pile of lamb or chicken. We are talking at least 3 meals worth. And it’s good! Really tasty Greek food.

This place has great gyros, great combo plates, great Philly cheesesteaks, and burgers. All the food here is good stuff. You can eat in a manner that is good for your body or not… it’s all good. The ambiance is lame but the food is great and the place is clean.

Small… and seemed a little to open and unsanitary for my tastes. I wanted to get a large order packaged for a party(e.g. a big dish of gyros meat, a plate of pita, a dish of sauce)…they seem baffled by this idea. I ended up going to Kalamatas in Brentwood, btw.
