Fossil Store

Overall, not a bad spot to select a watch. I was not really even watch shopping when my wife and I strolled in to peruse the store last Saturday.
They have literally hundreds of watches, styles, colors, bands, sizes, etc. available to look at, choose from, and purchase. They will let you try on any that you are interested in and will custom fit ones with links in them for your wrist if that’s what you choose.
It’s been a while since I’ve been watch shopping (or even worn one regularly, for that matter), but I found 3 – 4 I was very interested in quickly. After trying on several, I settled on a particular choice that both my wife and I really liked. While shopping and trying on watches, we realized that the extra 10% off coupon was on the entire purchase, not just 1 item, so we decided to get my wife a watch and I even found a slick pair of sunglasses I really like (which is rare… I’m picky about my shades). Overall, we got 2 really nice watches and a (relatively) expensive pair of sunglasses for less than the regular price of just 1 watch!
**Note to self — around Memorial day, they offer ½ off the entire store, and even had an EXTRA 10% off coupon on top of the 50% off!**
The associates were nice enough, but as the sale was so good, the store was flooded with customers and getting a little hectic to shop, maneuver, and peruse comfortably. Once I had decided on my watch, it was like the associate got excited they were making a sale and kept asking when I was ready to check out. Given that my wife wanted a watch and I was still looking at the sunglasses, we were not ready to check out just yet. I know they were just busy, but I don’t like to be rushed when shopping. Other than that, it was a great experience!

I recently purchased a Fossil watch (Fossil Defender) from the store in the Green Hills mall, which has gone out of business. I immediately began having problems with the time and the date. I took it back and the store made a quick repair. Within a few days, the crown (knob that adjust time and date) popped off.
Due to a lack of time and patience to haggle with constant repairs for a what was obviously a poorly manufactured item, I asked about having it replaced with another type. I spoke with three different representatives, two of which seemed uneducated and were rude, who all were adamant that I had to have the watch break and be repaired THREE TIMES before I am eligible for another model.
Please beware of poorly assembled products with even poorer customer relations before purchasing. Personally, I will never purchase from Fossil again and discourage others from doing so.
