Pretty good for a drive thru burger place, I had the spicy fries and the fried pickles and my other had the gyro. Very inexpensive and served very hot! The fries were really good. Wasn’t a fan of the pickles. Lots of breading and not much pickle. Husband liked the gyro and for the money it was a good lunch. I would go again.

Stopped in this place while driving between Georgia and Kentucky based on Unilocal reviews. I am pretty sure it does live up to the claim of biggest burger in town. I did not have the super deluxe burger, only the deluxe. While this was a big burger it was not a world class burger. It could of had a bit more seasoning. Overall it was a good burger and well worth the price. The spicy fries were were a good side to the burger. The place only had two tables outside(it is a drive up place). That was plenty for a quick family lunch. The dining area was pretty clean for a drive up place as well. The experience was good, it was enjoyed by the whole family.

My father swears by this place. Good burgers and fries. Don’t let the run down exterior fool you. Friendly staff. The deluxe burger is in my opinion too big, try the smaller options. Spicy fries are good, but not as good as the onion rings. Menu includes milk shakes, chicken sandwiches, wings, cheese sticks, etc.

I enjoyed the fried catfish sandwich after it being recommended from a friend. The fish itself was huge and dry/slightly over cooked, but easily masked by having all the fixins on it. I enjoyed the spicy fries that weren’t spicy(boo). The employees were all very nice, but we did have to wait behind two cars, who apparently didn’t call ahead. My friends enjoyed burgers that they said were good, but nothing special. This is the perfect place to call ahead to have a hearty meal on the go or to take home. The price was super reasonable, we had three sandwiches and two fries for under 25 $.

3.5 Typically, I am not one for drive –thrus unless they’re throwbacks… or the only resort. I’m from Kentucky. In order to eat, at times, I’ve had to go places and do things it’s taken years of therapy from which to recover. So, yeah. Drive-thrus. As a rule, I don’t do ‘em. But, here’s the thing: it was getting on in the evening. I was tired. I was hungry. It was a Thursday. And, this joint looked like it had been here for years. It was, certainly, here before Inglewood started getting invaded by all sorts of non-Southerners. Taking a risk, I jumped in to see what I’d find. Not bad if not a touch overpriced for what you’re getting. I was pleased to note that I could get a turkey burger.* I don’t eat much beef. In fact, I avoid it when possible but sometimes you crave a burger and a veggie version just won’t do. Turkey burgers are the perfect gateway drug for transitioning meat eaters. Thing is, when I opened the ‘burger’ up, it was breaded like a chicken patty from my high school days. No me gusta. Opening packaging to find a disappointing substitution sucks as a kid on Christmas morning and it sucks as an adult on a chilly Thursday night. Even loaded up with toppings, we both knew(me and the sandwich) the same shame we shared. This and some fries ran me $ 8 and change. For what I received, I don’t think the value was there. I know expectations should be kept low when eating fast food from a drive thru but even for what it was, I couldn’t help but to be left wanting more… but probably not from Fat Mo’s. *I’m entirely open to the fact that beef eaters will have a better experience.

Their food just keeps getting worse. Have been going to moes for a while now. I went today and order two little moes combo the burgers where not all the way cooked they were still pink inside the bacon was horrible it was hard u couldnt even bite through it. The chicken tenders were nasty seem like it was frozen microwavable food,. Wont be returning there any more

The cashier was really friendly, but it couldn’t make up for the mediocre burger. I ordered a bacon cheese burger. The bacon might have been turkey bacon because it didn’t taste like pork and was hard to chew. My cheese wasn’t melted. I did enjoy the crispy fries though. The baklava was decent. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. **For the Lebanon location in Donelson**

I’ve been to a few of the Fat Mo’s locations now(pathetic, but true) and every one has had a very friendly staff. I personally don’t like the veggie burger, but the fried catfish sandwich is HUGE and yummy. Sure, it’s generally overcooked, hard to chew on the edges, and probably an easy 1300 calories in itself, but who doesn’t love that kind of thing occasionally? I order mine with every topping and I never regret it. Mustard, ketchup, mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, tarter sauce, hot sauce, and once with cheese. It sounds like a lot and I was sweating the first time I agreed to that combo, but it’s so good and somehow not dripping everywhere when you pick it up. I always order the spicy fries. Not remotely spicy(bummer), but SO tasty(not a bummer)! Really this is so much food that you can either have another meal later in the day or you can miserably stuff your face once and feel like actual Fat Mo himself.

I had always passed different locations of Fat Mo’s for years and never had the urge to stop by. The Gallatin Pike location intrigued me when I passed a few times and saw a line of cars. It’s definitely no frills. It’s a small shack with a drive thru which looks like it’s on both sides of the building. There was a large menu that I perused while waiting behind just one car. The employee came out to take my order and he was patient when I told him it was my first time at a Fat Mo’s. I ordered the Little Mo’s combo hold the mayo. He asked if I wanted regular or seasoned fries. No brainer that I would say seasoned. It wasn’t a long wait at all. I wasn’t even there 5 minutes. The employee was maybe a little overly friendly but he did give me a menu to take home which was a nice touch. The burger was good. Nothing special but good. I did add cheese which was needed. The little burger was just the right size with all of the fries I had. The seasoned fries were yummy too. I had read on Unilocal that they were spicy fries but they weren’t actually spicy. I’d take seasoned fries over regular any time.

Got the regular Mo’s burger and my dining companion got the deluxe. Burgers were huge! Spicy fries were not that spicy, more like a batter dipped seasoned fry. A solid choice for a legit drive thru burger and fries.

Amen best burgers and chicken sandwiches in town. Not good gyros but they can’t win them all. Drive up window service only but that’s fine with me. Guys work fat to ensure short wait times. Always friendly smiling faces. Love love love it

I saw them on some TV show and how they take the burger patty and dip it into some kind of marinade while cooking… I don’t think any other burger places do that, except for Fat Mo’s… So, after watching the burger show, I went ahead and decided to give it a try… A few of us went and ordered burgers, poppers, fried mushrooms, cheese sticks, fried pickles, shakes, fries and onion rings… Good variety to try different items from the menu. I wasn’t thrilled with all the extras, but my buddies were happy with them. It was more than enough food for the three of us. AND… they have a picnic table back behind the building with a roof for shade. We sat back there one evening, ate, chatted, watched all the people who drove up for food. They have steady business. Food was decent. Burger was ok. Service was great, friendly, economical, quick. I wouldn’t put the burger on my top 5 list, but… in a jam, it will do. When everything else is closed, they are open. Would I eat here again? If I was in a jam, yeah… but I would not go back just for the burger.

If you say you never have a craving for fast food, then you’re a big far liar! Almost as fat as Mo’s burgers.(See what I did there? Sorry.) Anyway, when that craving does in fact strike you and you hate the typical chains, Fat Mo’s is here to rescue you. Crazy good seasoned fries, burgers are always satisfying, and their milkshakes are made with Purity Ice Cream. The people are also really nice and kind of goofy. Go, go!

This was not was I’m used to when going to Fat Mo’s. I got the deluxe with bacon combo and was grossly disappointed. The bacon was turkey bacon. WTF! Who puts turkey bacon on a cheeseburger? Assholes that’s who. The burger was dry and crumbly and tasted of soy protein I shit you not. The fries were almost certainly cooked in old oil. They tasted off for sure. If I ever get the hankering for Fat Mo’s again I’m going to the one in Donelson it’s waaaay better. Hell, I’d drive to the one in Smyrna before going to this one again. At least you get the real Mo there.

Sometimes after a few dark and stormy’s on the porch someone says«I really fancy a Fat Mo», Pablo and Luisa headed off, we called it in and Ta Da 10 mins later Little Mos’s and fries were being scoffed on the porch. Thick juicy burger, old fashioned, yumalicious and cheap, all spent and ready for sleep. Thank you Mo!

If you want greasy fast food, this is the place. We got the Philly Cheesesteak, Deluxe Burger, spicy fries and jalapeño poppers. The cheesesteak was good. The meat, cheese and grilled onions/peppers were awesome. But the bread was just ok. The burger was huge. Everything tasted good except for the actual meat patties themselves– they didn’t have any flavor. The spicy fries were not spicy at all– but were still delicious. The poppers were ok– we could have definitely done without them. Ok food & prices. There’s nowhere to sit inside as it’s just a stand-alone building but there’s seating outside. We went through the drive through and waited no more than 5 minutes.

I really wanted to like this place. I love greasy food, love dives, and love hamburgers. Based on other reviews, I had high expectations. Meh is the perfect descriptor. When I saw them drop my burger into the fryer, I was pumped. Fried hamburgers? Yes, please. Sadly, it was dry and not particularly good, and the wings were just okay. Overall, high on charm, low on taste. On a plus side, the staff is friendly. Just because I don’t want to be a total hater.

Sunday morning, I get a text message that I am to deliver two, count them two cheeseburgers to some extremely hung over women in Madison. This mission’s difficulty might seem low, however as I’m a vegetarian and every restaurant I know of between my house and Madison that would have cheeseburgers of sufficient grease to soak up hangover juice has decided to close on Sundays(I’m looking at you Mixed Grill Café) I go through a list of various burger joints and this one comes up as open. I GPSed it, was getting into sketchier and sketchier area, and finally found this place and thought it was closed but pulled into the lot anyway. It was not closed, I just couldn’t see the cars on the other side of the place. I had 0 expectations of getting myself anything, but they had a veggie burger so I went with it. As I sat waiting for them to cook my food I watched a 17-foot u-haul pull across the street to a can recycling station where you get 30 cents a pound(I believe was the rate) and start unloading 60 gallon trash bags of cans into this thing. It was an interesting site. 3 boxes of food and fries were given to me, I think the total was around $ 17, the weight on the boxes was pretty darn heavy. I put those in my passenger seat’s foot area, headed down the road, hit a bump and lost a load of fries immediately. Note for future people, their boxes do not stack well. No biggie. Delivered greasy goods and sat down to my veggie burger. Fries were just about perfect. I think they might have been perfect 15 minutes before when I got them, but I do not know. Veggie burger, it was alright. not the greatest in the world, but man, it was a lot of food. It crumbled to pieces while eating it and had to be finished with a fork. I’m told the cheeseburgers were excellent. It looked like there was enough there to feed a couple of people. Anyway, the place looks closed, sketchy, but it’s not and the people were nice as I had no time to study the menu. When asked about several details of the preparation of the cheeseburgers, I was simply able to state«this is for two hungover chicks, inject it with grease, and beyond that do whatever needs to be done» It was cool… I’m not out in that particular area very much, but I will go again next time I am.
