I liked this place. It is authentic and family run. Not sure what i was eating but it was fresh and tasted great. Minimal items on the menu which, I think, is a good thing. Location is a little different but the place is clean and has plenty of breathing room. Will return to try some of their other selection. Desserts are homemade and great tasting too. Another very authentic restaurant. I think is Greek or Bosnian.

Went by Euro Grill yesterday for lunch and the place was shutdown with chains and barrels blocking entrance.

Never got to try it. 99% sure the place is shut down. Empty inside and phone is disconnected. Too bad, looked good!

Stopped in on a Saturday at 1:15pm and they were closed. All the reviews looked good but they were strangely closed during reports open hours, and what works seem to be a normal time to get lunch.

Excellent cevapi! The owner is very friendly and service was quick. I would recommend for anyone to try it and I will be coming back for sure. There are plenty of big screen tvs to catch a game but I would have like a little bit of music.

Excellent, if not unique, Mediterranean option, inspired by the owner’s Bosnian roots. The food is hearty and delicious. I ordered the beef Cevapi(pronounced cha-vopy) and it was excellent. It’s plenty filling, but a little sparse, so it goes well with the red pepper spread. Support Nashville’s international community and enjoy a delicious meal while you’re at it! Highly recommend!

First time trying out this place and my boyfriend and I loved it I ordered Burek with feta cheese and he ordered Pljeskavica. They were both delicious! The Burek was light and the cheese went well with the bread. It was a nice appetizer. We were the only one in the restaurant when we came so the service was not bad. Too bad it closes at 4PM on weekdays or else we would come more often after work.

The parking lot isnt large enough for a bobtail yet there are many nearby businesses you can beg a short stay of long enough to eat here. Its well worth the effort of a short hike. The owners are so nice and cheerfully packed my large order for the road«to go»

Absolutely AMAZING eastern European cousine. THIS place is the real deal. When you think of Nashville, you think country music, Hot fried chicken, barbeque, various middle eastern/Mediterranean foods. But authentic Bosnian cousine? This I gotta see for myself. First on that list was Café Bosna, surpassed all expectations(already reviewed). Then I hear of Euro Grill and I’m like hummm… Antioch? Really? Let’s go! I drove past this place three times when I was looking for it. Finally got my bearings and pulled in. Upon entering you feel that rustic European ambience; it’s a mixture of southern France/Tuscan dive and not quite eastern. But once you order than fresh-baked spinach bürek and chase it with a Chevapi, you know this place means business. The bürek is a nice healthy portion, I’d recommend sharing one as an appetizer. Keep in mind it’s got strong feta cheese in there so it’s rich! Now, the Chevapi. What a frigging sandwich! The lapenja bread is baked fresh everyday, buttered, and stuffed with these mini Bosnian sausages and fresh diced onions. Simple, fragrant, delicious, filling. Those little sausages are so packed with flavor they literally kick you square in the jaw upon first bite. It’s like nothing you have ever tasted before. Order it. Seriously. The owner is super awesome, very friendly and won’t mind chatting with you about the mother-land and hearing about his past is fascinating. So my fellow Nashvillians, head on over to Euro Grill, share a bürek, toss back a lager and chow down on a chevap. It is a meal worth driving out to Antioch for on a daily.

Stopped here for lunch on the way to drop some people off at the airport. It’s a bit unexpected and a tiny bit off the beaten path on a residential street just behind a business district. I chose the vegetarian plate and a Greek salad. The salad was the absolute best I’ve ever had. The cheese was absolutely fresh, the vegetables were fresh and chopped just for the salad, and the dressing and seasoning was perfect. The salad was quite large on its own and could easily make a light lunch by itself. The vegetarian plate came along with their fresh pita-like bread that is baked fresh every morning, seasoned, pan fried vegetables, rice, and a tzatziki-like sauce drizzled on top. The flavors were astounding, and despite a lack of desire to stuff myself silly, I did anyway. Plenty of food for lunch and very reasonably priced.

Recommend. We showed up late and they were having a private party. The owners made us welcome, sat us and fed us well. Even though I think they were closed:) Enjoyed the food. Recommend

I just returned from a trip to the Balkans that included a stop in Bosnia and was eager to see if anywhere in Nashville had any of the foods I was able to try there. Euro Grill definitely delivered. The cheese burek was the same type you could get in Sarajevo, and though the cevapi was not grilled the way it is in Bosnia(which the waitress pointed out), the flavors were very similar. The bread was identical; it is almost-but-not-quite pita and was perfectly toasted. I wish I had asked for ajvar, though. Service was friendly though as others have noted it was a bit European in style – infrequent checks the table, and you pay for water(not a problem for me as the food was abundant and menu prices were quite low). The restaurant is well maintained, attractive and clean and has a nice patio out back. The waitress, Nadja, has lived here for 18 years but is from Sarajevo and was very pleased that I had gone there as a tourist. She kindly said that if I went back I should look up her family and get a meal for free! It’s so wonderful to live in a city that offers such a diversity of cuisine. If you are looking for good value, friendly service and something a little bit different, give this place a try. I will definitely be back.

This place is awesome. The food is so simple. yet delicious. Everything is fresh, and it really feels more like eating someone’s home cooking than it does eating restaurant food. The gyros and the pljeskavica are fantastic, and they actually serve some of the best french fries I’ve ever had in a restaurant. The few times I’ve gone it’s been the same woman cooking and serving, and she is always incredibly friendly. Just make sure you’re keeping an eye out for this place; it’s so low key that it’s easy to drive right past if you aren’t paying attention. You should also note that if you ask for water, you will receive bottled water, so if your goal is to not pay for a drink, you may wish to specify tap water.

Been here a number of times for lunch with coworkers. It’s a little place hidden away on Antioch pike, with a singular waiter/cashier. One quick point — they don’t take American Express, and also, if you ask for water they will give you bottled water and charge you for it. A little annoying, but just ask specifically and you should be fine. First time I came though I kind of didn’t appreciate it… Anyways, the food itself is pretty tasty, and they have a cheap lunch menu that comes out to a little over 5 bucks with tax, which has a satisfying amount of food, and again, is quite delicious food. Really very good food and very good price for lunch. I don’t mind coming here at all.

Impressive Turkish Breakfast! Turkish, Bosnian, Yugoslavian Influenced Food! The Bureck is INCREDIBLE!!! Potato, Minced Beef, Spinach or Feta Cheese, wrapped in a Filo-like Dough! Yum!!! It is so nice having a Girlfriend who likes Mediterranean Food, she is part Turkish so that helps, every time we go somewhere she can translate! The Guy working here understood most of what I said in English and told me he did not understand when he was not sure what I was saying. The other Entrée was a Delicious Bread(not Pita, thicker and«airy» yet not with a pocket) served with Fantastic tasting long Sausages, Sliced: Tomatoes, Onions and Mustard! Dessert for Breakfast? Of Course!!! Baklava! !! !!!

as far as eastern European restaurants go, this is the best I’ve had!(OK, full disclosure makes me tell you this is the only one I’ve had) but still! the outside is deceiving and they have upgraded the inside, neat, clean home like. the menu isn’t very large, but who needs 100s of choices? good with the recommended dishes. not spicy or overly flavorful, just right. HUGE too!

Given all the other reviews, I was expecting to have trouble finding the place, but with GPS, it was actually incredibly easy to find. And parking(in back) was good too. Certainly much easier to enter and exit than many other places around town. I actually thought the interior décor was quite nice with several large modern flat-screen TVs. The tables, chairs and other interior décor looked new and in good shape. The food was quite good! My dining companion and I had the following dishes: — Spinach burek — huge, flaky, light, delicious, much bigger than it looks in the menu picture, great deal for $ 4 — Chevapi — The menu says ‘minced meat’, but it’s actually a bunch of little sausages in between two pitas. I thought it was quite tasty. The waitress recommended it as an authentic Bosnian dish. This is also quite a large dish of food. I ate ¾, was stuffed, and took the rest home for tomorrow’s lunch. Also, be sure to ask for the roasted pepper sauce/spread. The waitress brought me some half way through the meal and I thought it definitely complemented the meat nicely. By the way, I wasn’t at all sure how to eat this dish — cut it? pick it up? I ended up eating pieces by hand, cutting some and finally rolling up some of the sausages in the pita bread. Improvise! — Pljeskavica — Like an enormous thin hamburger patty. The menus says beef or lamb. My companion did not specify and I think she got lamb. I’d say that’s the better choice. Very tasty and different than a standard burger. Wanted to try the baklava, especially given the quality of the dough used in the burek and the chevapi dishes, but they were sold out! :(I’ll call ahead next time to make sure it’s available before I come. In fact, they were sold out of all their desserts. There must have been a hungry mob of sweet-toothed bandits that came through and cleaned them out. A number of the other customers were speaking what I assume is Bosnian, which I’d say(as other Unilocalers have pointed out) probably speaks well for the authenticity of the place. Incidentally, Euro Grill is very authentically European in the sense that you are expected to order a beverage. Asking for water in most Nashville restaurants will get you a glass of tap water. Asking for water here will get you a little bottle of water that you will be expected to pay for. Personally I ordered an Orangina( – when’s the last time you saw that on a restaurant menu!) and it was delicious, but I think it was probably almost as expensive as the burek. Overall, it’s a bit more pricey than a meat-and-three or some of the Asian and Latin restaurants around town. My meal was $ 16+ including tax and tip. But I still thought it was a really good meal and a lot of fresh, high-quality food for the money. Lunch and dinner menu prices are the same, so while it might be a little expensive for lunch, it’s actually rather affordable for dinner. I hope Nashvillians will support Euro Grill. I know I’ll be back to try the greek salad, maybe some soup and that elusive baklava.

Absolute hidden gem! This restaurant is in a lttle yellow house on the edge of an industrial area of Antioch Pike north of Harding. It’s tucked away on the left two or three buildings up from the motel — it’s easy to miss. I’ve driven by it for almost two years every time we went to lunch at Siam Café and I always wondered about it because of the location and it never looked busy. But today I discovered the trick, there is parking around back and that seems to be where everyone parks. Inside is clean and neat with a gallery of photos by a local photographer for your enjoyment or purchase. There is a deck out back but I did not venture out to investigate it this trip. First let me say this place was neat and clean — they scored a perfect 100 on their Metro Health Inspection! The owners are very friendly. I talked with them to get their story. He has been baking since he was in his teens and in fact, his bakery back in Bosnia is still going strong. They moved here 10 years ago and like most people from that region, they always tell you how appreciative they are for this country and the opportunities they have had here. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to try first. She had a Chevapi plate that she had prepared in the past for another customer that she thought I might like it — it was fiveor six pieces of chevapi with a sauce on top of vegetables and rice with a piece of homemade pita bread. I also couldn’t resist the cheese filled burak as I have had a Russian dish that was similar at Taste of Russia and miss it now that they are closed. She brought the burek out first along with ShangriLa tea — I had it somewhere the other day but don’t remember it being this good. I only ate about a third wanting to save room for my chevapi plate. It is wonderful. The cheese is rolled up in a sort of phyllo or layered dough and then baked. The outside is crispy, the inside dough chewy and the cheese wonderful. Next came the chevapi plate. Chevapi is a minced meat/sausage like food from Bosnia. Everything on the plate ws wonderful including the homemade pita that is a cross between the traditional pocket pita and the more breadlike pocketless pita. Knowing that he was a baker, I had to try the baklava and it was some of the best I have had without a doubt and it was a nice large serving(almost too much considering how rich baklava is) and fresh. And to balance it out, I had a cup of Turkish coffee that was a perfect way to balance out the richness of the baklava. This is so close to work that I will be a regular here. The prices are good and serving sizes good for the price. I can’t wait to try several other things on the menu. They have chicken livers and rice. She told me to call ahead so that they can make sure they have fresh liver when I want to come try them. And they have gyro and Euro burgers both your choice of beef or lamb. She highly recommended their tiramisu. And the bowls of soup looked nice and hearty. Beside the pastry case is another case with a small but interesting selection of imported food items. They also had various sausages vacuum packaged for sale also.
