I contracted with this company to do a few small handyman chores around my office (hanging things, etc.) I was assured by the owner in writing he thought two of his guys «can knock this work out within a few hours.» I was told to «budget for 4 – 8 hours» so I could get the approval from my COO. The crew was 45 minutes late with no phone call, worked slowly, did not do the all the assigned work, nor all of it properly, and did not clean up after themselves in the work areas/​desk areas. I called for them to rectify the situation, which they did the following day, again, not cleaning up after themselves. They billed us for 11.5 hours despite the fact our office manager said they told her they were going on a lunch break. My dispute proved unfruitful and we were only credited 45 minutes. While the work was eventually done, and properly, this company has a lot of work to do on multiple professional practices, including the owner who misrepresented his company and then tried to add me as a friend on Facebook!
