I bought a house and took over the security system (Duncan Securities). This year I found a better option for home security and called to cancel my service with them. They told me to send an e-​mail for the cancellation. I did, and asked for a response in the e-​mail. After a few days of no response, I called to find out the status of my cancellation and a pro-​rated refund for the year that I had pre-​paid. I was told that it was being processed. Three days later I finally got a call and was told that according to my contract, I was supposed to stay with them for another two years. So they said that they would not issue a refund for the remaining year, and that luckily for me, they would not be pursuing the second year’s money. I wholeheartedly would not recommend them. All they care about is sucking as much money from you as they can.
