David A Schwartz, MD

I started to see Dr. David Schwartz back in 2004. I was concerned with my health and knew that I had some bowel issues. He diagnosed me with ulcerative colitis and prescribed me on a regimen to get my system back on track. Dr. Schwartz is a very friendly person and you can tell that he really does care about his patients.
It’s been 11 years since I was diagnosed. I am fortunate enough that I’m in the 10^th percentile and do not need but two pills a day to keep my UC in remission. Since my UC isn’t that severe now, I see a different specialist for my yearly check ups. I do see Dr. Schwartz every two years though because he does my colonoscopies.
I really cannot say enough good things about Dr. Schwartz. I first met him back in 2004 when I was 19 and I thought I had colon cancer (WebMD isn’t your friend). He was kind enough to explain my condition and alleveate my fears. I would recommend him to anyone who has bowel issues that needs an amazing doctor.

I have never seen a doctor who cares more about his patients and their well-​being. He is extremely committed to ensuring his patients are educated about their disease.
