Like the other clothing stores that decorate Gallatin, City Fashion specializes in colorful urban apparel. It’s not my style overall, but sometimes adventuring into a store off your regular route you find one gem item that no one else will have. Unfortunately, this is very unlikely at City Fashion as the women’s section is about a quarter of a store that is already on the small size. It’s a lot of cheap and shiny numbers with rhinestones and words like«Angel» printed on them. If I get the inkling to go to one of these stores again I’m more likely to go to 615 where at least I have more options. Also, it was weird walking in because neither of the people working verbally acknowledged me.

There’s a handful of clothing stores like this along Gallatin Pike – urban apparel(lots of plaid pants and flamboyant colored shirts) in mostly XL and larger sizes. See my review of 615 Ave. While this style of clothing isn’t exactly the type I wear, if it’s your scene, then City Fashion could be your new spot. They have a really wide selection of vibrant polos as well as school uniforms, but what really impressed me were the shoes. They have some really crazy faux patent leather kicks with all sorts of designs on them. As I mentioned before, they don’t really have many clothes in sizes smaller than XL, but their selection of girls’ apparel seems much more standard(as far as sizes go). Prices at City Fashion are pretty good – polos and button-ups cost as little as $ 10. They also sell some pretty slicks suits and ties, though I didn’t catch their prices. The staff was nice enough, though they seemed to think it was strange that a guy in a size small second hand t-shirt reading«Spring Break Daytona ’88» was in their store.
