Food was just okay. Not worth the $ 9.99 + $ 3.99 if you eat crab legs. Will try another place next time and will not return.

I loved this place, and today was my 2nd visit. They have one of the largest Buffet’s I have ever seen which made the choices unlimited. I also love knowing this is a Small Family Owned Business. The people that work there are Friendly and the restaurant was exceptionally clean. NOW, let me tell you about the Won Ton Soup. It is the best I have ever had. I just want the soup part — not the Won Ton, and this broth is not the usual watered down chicken broth that you get at most Chinese places. I look forward to going back and trying all their other soups as well as some more of the food choices. I think it will take 20+ visits to try everything and I’m up to the task.

This place just recently changed ownership and is now dynasty buffet, so I gave it another try. I love it! It is now my favorite buffet. All the food was good, my absolute favorites being the creamy macaroni salad, the super tasty beef empanadas, the honey chicken, the crab rangoon which had a wonderful sweet cream cheese flavor, the tiny bite sized circular dessert thingies, and the cheesecake look alike cake(didnt have a label) that i topped with a bit of chocolate pudding. All this made for a delightfully sinful eat fest that I cant do often! If only I could double my metabolism! Lol. My least favorite items were the wonton soup and sushi, but they were still ok. The food and service here was much better than my last buffet disaster down the street. I definitely recommend and dont bring the calorie counter:)

Based on the price, they offer the most to me! The quality is really good, service is very good too! :)

The food here feels like they reused it from the day before… It is incredibly cheap for lunch but I rather pay a little bit more for better and fresher food. I’m sorry but I won’t be back again. 2013/#16

Okay Okay, I started my diet today with the Weight Watchers 360 point system and Yes I am eating out… and a buffet at that!!! Am I asking for punishment and pain??? Tony hadn’t had any lunch so he was starving, so we opted to try the Capital Asian Buffet near our home. On Fridays, the price is only $ 6.99 per person. And there is so much to choose from! They have fresh sushi, and a raw bar where you can have them cook it fresh for you !!! There are about 8 bars total and plenty of seating everywhere. The wait staff is friendly and courteous .and they speak English very well and they are so friendly!!! I opted to be healthy and grab my smartphone. The app helps me figure out the point system, so I can choose wisely. I choose Shrimp(non fried) in a jalapeño style sauce with fresh jalapenos, I took a scoop of rice and tong full of noodles. I choose some broccoli and carrots and cabbage and applied some spicy sauce… a total of 4 points… Awesome!!! I drank the unsweetened tea with lemon. Now Tony, on the other hand he tried several plate fulls of the wonderful food! It is the most clean buffet setting I have ever enjoyed. The food was wonderful and next Friday, the waitress said they would add more seafood including Crab Legs for the same price of $ 6.99 per person on Friday! That is an awesome deal!!! I would definitely eat here again! The food was terrific! Not only was the aroma inviting but the visual effect of the different dishes were more than appealing. It was very rough be there on a diet… but hey it worked! I got full, I enjoyed my meal, and stayed within my point system for my diet… so ITWAS A GREATCHOICE!!! and we will definitely eat here again!!!

I would call this place a solid«ok» place to grab some food. Going here was simply cheap and convenient to where we happened to be working the day we came. The food is decent, and as far as I know not likely to kill anyone; however the chicken feet were mildly off-putting(though excellent for pranking friends with — or scaring your kids!). While the selection was decent — there was Chinese food, sushi, soup, and some sad looking pizza and steak options as well — it would have been nice for more of the food to be labeled, or labeled with printed labels and not handwritten, as that was sometimes hard to read. I don’t know about you, but I happen to like knowing that I’m not eating, say… cat. I was also a bit confused as to the island in the buffet area that has a mountain of frozen shrimp and other things — surely no one eats frozen shrimp? Lackluster food aside, the waiters and staff are all very friendly and quick to refill your drinks/take your plates/get your checks. All in all though, I think you’re better off hitting up the Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet down the road.

Solidly slightly below average, but not terrible. Examples include fresh rice that was undercooked /crunchy, some food was ancient, tofu that was overcooked. Very few signs indicating what anything was, vegetarian options were noodles and rice and fruit and broccoli unless I missed something. It was not bad, but I’d rather go down the street to Hibachi Supreme Buffet. Service was good, but dinner was meh… I’d give it another chance if I lived closer to it, but I don’t.

The quality is poor and when we went it’s as if the food was left out and REUSED from the previous day. The grill is deceiving as it shows pictures of dishes that it seems they can grill for you but when I asked for one they laughed at me and said those pictures were not dishes offered. Would not go back again.

We visited Capital Asian Buffet for the first time on Wednesday, 8 August. We enjoyed the fried rice, spring rolls, stir-fried crabmeat and the sesame chicken. We did NOT enjoy the egg rolls(rather greasy and«old» — they were obviously left over from lunch), the barbecued pork ribs(stringy and cold) or the beef and vegetables(the beef was very chewy). The macaroons were also very nasty(they should remove them from the dessert buffet). In brief, our review is mixed. We might return if we had a Groupon or Living Social voucher. But we will not return for a meal at full price. We hope CA Buffet prospers in this location. South Nashville needs a good Chinese restaurant. Capital Asian could become a good restaurant with a few changes and upgrades.

I really enjoyed the WOK! It was exactly what I wanted! Everything that went into the dish was of my own choosing. I was like my own chef. Also, I am a very picky eater, so this was perfect for my diet. I also highly enjoyed the expansive salad bar. I will be back and with more of an empty stomach, so I can try more things!
