Great wings; the sign doesn’t lie. And better waitstaff(get a table in Gavin’s section and go with his recommendations). I’ll be back, zero questions.

I came in for a quick bite and cocktail and nice environment. My only complaint is that it is smoking indoors so I chose a seat by the window just encase someone starting smoking. I had the Panama wings which had a nice flavor and they weren’t super spicy. First dining experience in Nashville has been a success! I didn’t give 5stars because I asked for all flat wings and my waiter had forgotten but he immediately corrected!

Consistently an excellent experience. They do permit smoking so beware. I find it helps to sit at the pub next to the principal entry. The large television consistently have the greatest matches on, which attracts a bunch. The bartenders are cool. Excellent beers on tap. 241s Sundays. Pub matches in the rear region too. The only downfall, is parking in the region. They’ve a little bunch encompassing the bldg, but good luck on road parking! Time is everything.

I enjoyed this place! Wish we had a bar like this in CT. It was very open and airy with lots of space to move around. The large group I was with played darts and shuffleboard. I drank dos perros all afternoon. Would check it out again.

Excellent choice in a new unknown area full of endless restaurants with amazing music. We basically chose this place because it lacked a line. We were not expecting fabulous but we were very pleased. Our server Mike was great. Attentive pleasant helpful. Such a change from our first dining experience in Nashville We started with wings again. Better then Caneys but not great. We noted to ourselves that wings aren’t for us in Nashville. No biggie. Once again I ordered the catfish. This time a basket with fries. Loved it! Again the batter was perfectly fried, no grease, seasoned perfectly. A++ My boyfriend had the brisket. He was waiting to have this since we arrived. Excellent. A sandwich on white bread, onions and peppers with cheese. Loved it A+++. We sat by the bar. Not too noisy or crazy. Our drinks were always full. Mike was the perfect asset to this establishment.

I am sorry I have come here for years and The service and food is sub par food is cold, server forget to give my card to keep my tab open in his apron for 30 minutes not secure or cool. Sent food back, cold. Received no plates or napkines with wings had to ask. Reheating wings a standard. Did not get my app. After I was half way done with my entrée I told them take it off my bill, response I got kitchen is backed up? Hello

We stopped in for a bushwhacker because it had been recommended to us. And it was delicious! Be warned though, it takes a minute to catch up with you, but, once it does, it hits heavy. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and we enjoyed sitting on the patio.

Really great food for what is primarily a bar(and great bar at that). Mojo menu has really awesome NOLA style cajun/creole food. Wings are some of the best around, Gumbo and Jambalya are both legit with good spice, the«Hot Brown» sandwich is my personal favorite which is grilled chicken sandwich in sub roll topped with crawfish étouffée and served with cajun potatoes. Even if not eating, really good spot away from the touristy honky tonks for drinks and entertainment. Great beer list, draft and bottle, bartenders have good recs for beers and pour strong cocktails, there’s abundant TVs for any games on, multiple dartboards, etc. Went to college in Nashville years ago, and having recently visited the city, it’s still best bar/restaurant in town.

Maybe this place could get 3 stars for the sheer fact that we could get a table on a Saturday night. However our table was cramped in a corner and I did see a dead cockroach close by. Our food came out quickly and our waitress was friendly, but the dead insect made me a bit wary of what to expect. There were a number of tv’s available to watch the football game, but the audio wasn’t on to play the broadcast. Rookie mistake during the playoffs… overall a very blah experience…

Really cool place with an awesome«dive vibe». The bartender Justin was amazing. This guy is a real character. I recently moved to Nashville and my best friend came up to visit for the weekend and wanted to explore the west end area, this place was literally right beside my hotel so we decided to check it out and enjoyed every minute! I had their chili nachos and it was probably some of the best chili I’ve had in a loooong time. The nachos are definitely a two person job!

We are from out of town and stepped in to have a beer. Let me tell you. This place is incredible. The chicken was perfect and had great flavor. Nachos were better then expected and the food took less then 10 minutes to get to us. Then at the end of it all. Nothing on the menu is more then $ 9. Will be back. Awesome job

The food here was very good. Ordered two different flavors of wings. Probably some of the best wings I’ve had in a very long time!!! My only reason for giving a 4 star is because the staff was not very concerned in keeping our beers full. Had to constantly wait for each drink.

One of the worst experiences all of us have had(party of 8). Ordered coffee four times before we received it, one of our party waited an additional 15 minutes for his sandwich, no silverware given after asking three times, no napkins given, no seconds on our mimosas when we ordered them. Had to ask twice for checks, still took 30 minutes. True survival skills were learned as 8 people shared 2 napkins. Would not recommend.

Excellent wings. They are broiled to perfection and not deep fried. Get the hot and super hot sauce on the side. Neither are very hot but both are very flavorful. Order a Bloody Mary as a compliment, spicy. The service is amazing, with attention to detail. Constant check-in’s but not annoying. They will put your favorite team on if you ask. Go Seahawks!

Sunday !!! Home football game against the Raiders! The Beer was 2 for 1 and the wings were great. Being from Chicago, I’m not used to smoking within the bar/establishment, and it was terribly smokey. Being a Yankee, I have forgotten the amount of people that smoke these days. Not the best atmosphere for my 7 year old simply for that reason. However, the fried food and beverages were good, while the wings were excellent. I can’t really fault the bar for the states regulations, but if this place was non smoking it would have gotten a perfect score.

Our food was fast and excellent, the cooks were polite and personable, and our food arrived even before the delightful Bushwacker!!! Delicious, flavorful, and not at all bar food. We are lucky to have a great server named Mae. Horrible experience at Chuy’s across the street! This was amazing and worth another trip to Nashvegas.

Didn’t stay here long enough to form a solid opinion, but for our time spent there it was great! We popped in for a quick late night dinner and drinks. And man when I say quick, they were QUICK! We ordered our food and less than 5 minutes later, it was on the table! I had the jambalaya which the server warned me was spicy… but I love spicy so it was right up my alley! It was so good! 2 heaping scoops with the perfect amount of spice, and put on top of some warm toast was really hitting the spot! My dining partners were happy with their quesadillas and chicken strips, and we all got Bushwackers to drink — that sure was an experience, haha! They did have an impressive beer list but we were in and out pretty quickly as we wanted to continue walking down Broadway. This place was a good first stop on our trek through Nashville!

Great spot for trying stouts and porters or any draft beers really. It’s hard to find a good place with a decent selection of dark beers and they are great about letting you try them all out. Never tried the food but great drinking spot for sure.

Posted this accidentally on the wrong restaurant initially. Good service. Way better food than you would probably expect. Plenty of TV’s to watch the game. Sauces on wings were flavorful and not overbearing. Gumbo was tasty and well spiced. Bartenders were engaged and very nice. If you want a super casual night with solid food and drinks, this is your place.

This is a near-perfect dive bar — a beer lover’s dream. Lotsa taps that change. Beer prices are the same as any dedicated beer place: expensive — you pay for the ability to drink a different beer each time. The food is interesting. It’s not great, but compared to most dives… it’s so great. The descriptions are better than the food, but I paid $ 7.99, for heaven’s sake. I’ve paid more for bad fast food. For that, I had an interesting burrito topped with seasoned crawfish. I also tried their wings. They were meh. Neither were seasoned perfectly, but that’s why hot sauce exists. There’s no air conditioning, service is slow but friendly, and a bug just walked by my table. I honestly can’t tell if it was a roach. It also seemed friendly, though. If I’m nearby again with friends, I’ll stop here maybe. Good vibes. I don’t regret the choice, even if I need to change shirts now. It’s hot in here.

Note: We did not eat here. This review is of the drinks and atmosphere only. Stopped in for«just a little while» at around 4:30 on a Friday afternoon in June, to wait for our next destination to open for the evening. Instead, we stayed for the next 2 hours! I had read on Unilocal about their Bushwacker beverage and really wanted to try it. The first door you walk through leads you to a bar and tables in partially glassed-in, partially screened-in patio. If you walk through the next set of doors, you’re presumably in the dining room, but we never found out for sure. Instead, we saw a bunch of people in the first bar area, chatting and having fun, so we decided to sit down at that bar. The bartender was very nice & personable — unfortunately, I cannot remember her name. My husband and I split the small Bushwacker & also split a beer(since I had read Unilocalers reports of its potency!). We ended up trying several beers while there. «Happy Hour» runs from 11am-7pm Monday-Friday. Even when it’s not Happy Hour pricing, almost all of the beers are only $ 4.75 each for a pint, the draft beers top out at $ 6.75 each. They have a huge number of beers on tap(I think around 75 of them), plus around 50 different types in bottles. An impressive selection for what seemed like a bit of a casual dive bar! This was one of our favorite spots during our trip. Very laid back. Seemed like it’s likely more of a college /locals spot during the school year(it’s located right on the edge of Vanderbilt’s campus). When we were there, it was ½ tourists, ½ locals. The next time we visit Nashville, we will certainly stop in here!

Wish we had noticed this place dinner on our trip. The place is huge with tons of great beer. The inside bar wraps all the way around, which is neat. We only had a couple beers, but the service was great and the bar was cold. What more can you ask for?

Broadway Brewhouse is a great Sunday place for BOGO beer and they generally have parking available which is helpful. It used to have some of the best bar food in Nashville, but it has gone down hill. I still come back for the beer selection and happy hour, but it is sad their food is no longer above par.

If you want the greatest beer selection in Nashville with the cheapest prices, then this is the place. It is cheap for a reason tho, on weekends it is crowded, there is no AC for the summer and no great heater for the winter. But don’t let this deter you! The beer wall is enough to make you start to salivate the moment you walk in there. 2 for 1s on Sunday’s, 2 for 1s on Thursday for women. 3 dart boards in the back, decent bar food on the menu. Weekdays can be better without the crowds, but anytime is great for me! One of my favorite establishments and the best of the Broadway brew houses for sure.

Ah, Broadway Brewhouse. One of the first places I tried when I moved to Nashville, nearly 10 years ago. Brewhouse has been good to me. They have several locations now, but this one, located at 19th and Broadway in Midtown, is the original. It’s changed a little bit over the years, but it’s mostly the same. And that’s a good thing. Quick positives: 69+ draft beers, bushwackers, roasted wings, best chili in Nashville, open air in the warm months, and great bartenders. Quick criticisms: small divey restrooms, can get packed on the weekends with college students, parking can be tricky(but you should probably Über it anyway). Brewhouse is a bar first, then restaurant. It’s ages 21+, and they do allow smoking. Regardless of where you sit, you’ll be able to see a TV. So it’s a great place to watch a game, especially on Sunday Funday for all day 2-for-1s. Sign up for their 69 Club, and try a beer from all 69 of their taps. Finish and get a t-shirt and your name on a plaque. Aside from beer, this place is known for their bushwackers. Imagine a Wendy’s Frosty that’s made almost entirely of alcohol, including 151, light rum, and chocolate and coffee liqueurs, and dairy. Available in 16oz. and 8oz. portions. Drink one, you’ll feel great. Drink two, you’ll be bushwacked. The food here is good overall, with a bar menu that relies heavily on flavors of New Orleans and the Southwest. There are, however, some pretty exceptional items. Their chicken wings are roasted, not fried, and come in several flavors. The panama sauce(jalapeño molasses) and mojo sauce(a fiery, sticky habanero) are my two favorite wing flavors, and both pack a punch of heat. If you like your wings on the crispy side, request them that way. Remember, these are roasted, and they are delicious. Served with celery and their housemade spicy ranch. Also worth a special mention is their chili, which is the very best in town, in my opinion. It usually has a nice kick in addition to its rich flavor, but if you’re a heat seeker like me, ask for a side of fresh jalapeños. The freshness and heat are a perfect addition. Finally, what would a review of Brewhouse be without a shoutout to the bartenders? I went through a heavy regular period where I knew everyone and everyone knew me. This was place was my Cheers, and it wouldn’t be as special to me without the wonderful bartenders.

I’m going to sail my vessel until the bushwhacker riverbanks dry. They don’t split bushwhackers three ways. Chips might be baked which is not a good thing for taste but possibly for the waste line. Cheese dip, salsa and multiple split bushwhackers(two claps not quite a coolinary cheers)

What a cool place! The best way I can describe it is that it’s a hole-in-the-wall bar but not really a hole-in-the-wall because it is pretty big! They have outdoor seating which is perfect in the summertime. Speaking of summertime, that is the perfect time of year to enjoy one of their famous Bushwackers. If you’ve never had a Bushwacker from here, think of a Wendy’s Frosty with coffee liquer. It’s pretty amazing. Broadway Brewhouse gives you that neighborhood bar feel because the atmosphere is fun and laid back. The crowd is always great and the bartenders rock.
