I took my bestfriend here for dinner tonight in celebration of her birthday. We had an appetizer which was the devil eggs and bacon that I loved very much. Brendan our waiter was very helpful when I asked about the meatloaf dinner and with his help I can say I made the right decision. He was very nice and fun. Make sure you ask for him to serve you(black rim glasses). Brendan yes I can keep a secret but I want everyone to know how awesome you are :-)

We just stopped for a drink before dinner elsewhere. What a nice bar. The bartender was super friendly and patient. Her wine suggestions were great! The atmosphere is very comfortable and the noise level quite acceptable for basic conversation. Lighting is soft. They even have table lamps at the bar– a real treat for those of us who are«blind.» Service was without delay. Bar seating very easy on the back and the view around not distracting. Again, noise level very low and you can even hear the background music. I cannot attest to the food but if is equal to the wine GOFORIT!

I’ve only been for brunch but I keep coming back. The millionaires bacon is a must. The chicken and waffles are great and the shrimp and grits are amazing. Don’t forget the mimosas! There’s always plenty of parking and great service.

Deviled eggs and bacon with maple syrup coating– Great! Ground sirloin meatloaf– Best Ever! Seared Ahi Tuna had a nice smoky flavor. Get the sides suggested. I didn’t and was disappointed. My pairings simply didn’t work. Next time, make room for dessert! Nice upscale atmosphere without upscale price.

I came in town from Atlanta and wanted a good spot for lunch. Thank God someone recommended Bricktops because I got the crab cake salad(which is not on the menu but you can still ask for it) and it’s THEBEST salad I’ve had in as long as I can remember. The dressing, the crab cake, the beautiful ripe tomatoes(in November, mind you), and the crisp mangos were perfectly paired. I even asked if the dressing was available to buy. It was SOGOOD! Highly recommend this salad!

Positives: First — sit at the bar. The bartenders Rock(especially on Thursday nights, Friday nights and Sunday nights) Second — Quality of service is amazing because they make sure you’re attended too but they aren’t constantly at your table annoying you(like some other places your server won’t go away !) Their signature deviled eggs and millionaires bacon is as good as everyone says they are — yum ! The entire menu is delicious and they have a gluten free me is if you need one. And they are very accommodating ! If anything goes wrong and you feel the need to complain or simply let your server /bar tender know — ITWILL get taken care of. Whether they completely remake you another meal to taking it off the bill all together. Go after 6pm. Patio area a great! Negative: the food is sort of expensive And It should have 3 $$$ but, oh well. It’s worth it.

What a wonderful meal! The Prime rib was perfect! Service perfect! Atmosphere perfect! My son had the baby back ribs– again. Perfect! Sorry this is redundant, but he assures me this is typical. Only wish we had room for dessert.

The food and portions were outstanding, but the service was terrible. The waiter included an 18% tip onto our bill without our permission. We had a party of 4 and planned to tip 20%, but the service was average at best and we felt the tip was added based on the manager and waiter stereotyping us and believing that we would not tip based on our skin color. I spoke to the manager to ask why the tip was automatically included on a party of four and she seemed extremely nervous, couldn’t stop stuttering long enough to give an explanation, but she knew that I was offended and felt racially profiled. I will never eat at Bricktop’s again.

Loved this first(and definitely not the last) experience at Bricktop’s on Westend. Great dinner with my two eldest daughters. We started with ice water w/lemon all around, and ordered the deviled eggs and millionaires bacon appetizer., along with a bottle of Klinker Brick Zinfandel from Lodi, CA. Our server could not have been more friendly. The app. was delicious even though the bacon was sticky like hardened molasses. The wine was reasonable priced, full bodied and fruity. A nice sized loaf of fresh bead w/butter arrived before our entrees. Dishes were delicious. One daughters French dip was stuff with a generous amount of roast beef. The other’s steak and fries served with herb butter was delicious too. My Prime Meatloaf looked like s giant meatball. Served with spinach upon request, rather than the whipped potatoes noted on the menu. It was seasoned nicely and extra filling. Even though we couldn’t finish, we ordered dessert anyway. A giant cookie with ice cram on top. Great atmosphere on this nice and warm November night. The bar was bustling, and looked robe a popular place to come hang out. Will definitely be back!

Bricktops is a laid back fancy kind of place. The atmosphere is nice, but not pretentious. The food is delicious and the service was quick. We met friends for lunch here during the work week. It seemed busy with work luncheons. I’d recommend getting a reservation. We had a reservation and they seated us almost immediately. I ordered the Tokyo roll and lobster bisque. Both were delicious! We also ordered an appetizer of deviled eggs with«millionaire bacon.» Let me just say, this bacon is amazing! I know the WHO put bacon in the cancer causing category, but this bacon is worth the risk! I recommend giving this restaurant a try and they have ample parking out back!

Bricktop’s is the perfect place for a business lunch. It’s moderately upscale with nice décor, and very pleasant staff. The menu is familiar so you don’t have to worry if it will be to everyone’s taste. The downside to all of this is that the place is a little boring. The food is extremely fresh and tastes good. My favorites are the Palm Beach salad and the Crab Cake.

This place never disappoints. It has a great bar in addition to the dining area. There seems to be a steady crowd here. The Ahi Tuna burger is a great choice for lunch. It is fresh and comes with a tangy sauce. I hope to come back and try their dinner service.

I have not had a bad meal at this restaurant. It is «indeed» my favorite restaurant in Nashville. It’s a bit pricey, but I am worth it. Their Smoked Salmon appetizer is to die for, and could actually be your entrée. Their salads are delicious, both the Chicken Tender Salad and Cobb Salads are very good and filling and the presentation is very interesting. My favorite seafood dish is their Grilled Rainbow Trout with Butter sauce(yummy). But I can’t leave out the fact that they have a great Happy Hour from 4 – 6, sushi is discounted almost half price, martini’s are $ 3 off. They have the best«Lemon Drops» in town. I missed Houston’s since they first left, but Bricktops has done an excellent job preventing me from driving to Memphis and Atlanta to eat at Houston’s to get a delicious meal in a very nice atmosphere.

There’s a Bricktop’s where I’m from(Miami, FL) and so I didn’t have high expectations for dinner. Our team made reservations for us all(19 in total) since we were in town for a work meeting. Let me just say that I was pleasantly surprised! Maybe it helped that I came in with no expectations… any-who! We started at the bar and ordered some drinks and appetizers. Loved the spinach and artichoke dip as well as the goat cheese flatbread. My drink was very strong(Old Fashioned) but no complaints here. When our table was ready they moved our tab over so the transition was very simple. Dinner was amazing. Our waiter was extremely helpful and definitely gave me great recommendations. I had the Florida Grouper with sautéed kale and spinach. It was simply delicious and fresh. The table then decided to share a few desserts — key lime pie(my choice), bread pudding and the cookie deep dish a la mode. It was the perfect ending(and so was the lemon drop). I would definitely come back here.

Grabbing lunch with in-and-out-of town friends… good thing we got there at 11:30 – 15 minutes later and it was packed!!! I got the grilled salmon Caesar salad but with Champagne Vinaigrette instead of the Caesar dressing and it was very good. One of our party had to wait for her meal due to a mistake in the kitchen… a slight inconvenience since we were on lunch break from work. The other meals: French Dip – very good; Chicken Tenders – okay, nothing special; sushi– very good.

Went tonight for a work dinner and the food was simply fantastic! Service was great, Quinn our server was adorable and very attentive. We started with with the spinach dip and goat cheese Flatbread– delish! I had the meatloaf with whipped potatoes and a side of sautéed spinach and kale– excellent! Co workers had the prime rib and trout all were happy. Dessert skillet cookie and key lime pie were great finishes.

Bricktop’s is a safe choice without having to go to a casual chain. There’s something for most eaters, so it’s a popular choice for business and group dinners. My group enjoyed the upscale ambiance and drinks. The spinach dip was a good starter. As the dinner crowd grew, our area was a bit on the loud side, so we had to repeat some orders, but items came pretty quick. Our server was OK, but a little behind on our large group spanning three tables and should have had more assistance. My food was OK. I had trout and the beurre blanc was a bit excessive and quite salty, but I wiped off the excess. I’ll choose something else next time. I got a side of sautéed kale and spinach which was a nice alternative to starches. Several of the colleagues in my group enjoyed the large«entrée salads» and a few even had leftovers. The prices are on par with the upscale ambiance — most entrées are $ 20 – 30. Competition in that price range is steep, so it’s hard to give more than two stars.

Only in Tennessee does somebody pair up candied bacon with deviled eggs. Not that either of these things is bad, but how they ended up in the same dish I will never guess. This strange matching sets the tone for this restaurant. The portion sizes here are small(when they say«crab cake» they mean«A crab cake»), and despite that you will pay more for any menu item than you would at a place that actually makes them better, and for a smaller portion size. Sushi rolls are a good few bucks more than what you’d pay at an actual sushi place. The sides are good — not great, but good. Meatloaf seemed nice but there were again complaints that it wasn’t much. The food isn’t *bad*, it’s just *normal*. This is the problem; at this price point I expect a more creative and satisfying experience in general, and that was just absent.

Wow, this place is outstanding. Perfect execution, everything cooked to perfection. The service is great. We picked this place at random while traveling and we are pleasantly surprised. I certainly will make my way here again.
