Small, but it has major staples if you don’t want to drive to the large market. From what I’ve experienced the produce holds up well. The vendor with milk is not a friendly person and was short with me when I was asking him questions. I just avoid him. The older couple selling honey are very knowledgeable about the benefits of pollen, stop and talk to them!

Sweet! Bellevue has a Farmer’s Market! In the midst of Bellevue, famous for it’s TGIO’Crapplebees and Kroger clientele, lands a chance to get hooked up on some local products. Started by the fine folks at Perl Catering/Café, the market is just getting started and getting bigger every week. I’ve been lucky enough to come out here the first two times, got myself some nice peaches from the Peach Truck, some beef and eggs from Walnut Hill Farm(you need to reserve the eggs in advance), some tasty cheese from Kenny’s Organic Cheeses, and some good-looking produce from Six Boots Grower’s Collective. The kiddos really enjoyed the lemonade(or lemolade as my son calls it) from Mary Alice’s Organic Lemonade! Most of the vendors have a credit option, but make sure you bring some cash anyway. Off to a great start and I hope the rest of the community supports this effort — thanks again for bringing more options to the ‘Vue!
