I’ve always had great experiences here. They are meticulous and take time with each customer. I’ve brought some very special family jewelry here for overnight repairs and was happy the results. I came here at first because I lived in the area — but now I don’t even live in West Nashville and still come.

It looks like there are a few 5 star reviews here but I had a much different experience. I bought a mint condition authentic Tiffany & Co. engagement ring on the used market and called around to get it resized. I was quoted roughly $ 200 for resizing and told by Scott that he was the absolute best in the state (if not the eastern coast) at this and that he was the only jeweler who would use actual platinum as opposed to white gold for the band increase in size for a seamless and unnoticeable fix.
I took the ring there, left it with him for a few days, and when I came back was told it was $ 400 for the resizing (which I was still alright with for a high quality job). The catch is that the ring looked really bad — the new platinum insert was not even with the rest of the ring, causing a wave like appearance to the whole band, and there were now several scratches in the band. At that point he told me that’s what any increase in size would look like and I had to expect it — much different than his original claim. He did tell me that he would cover any other alterations up to a ½ size and wrote that down on a business card.
I ended up needing to to do a slight alteration on the ring once I gave it to my fiancé and, not wanting to pay another $ 400 for another jeweler, took it back to him for the small alteration. He than told me there is no way he would ever cover a second alteration for the same price. I found his card with the memo and he reluctantly did a hurried & quick fix in about 10 minutes causing even more scratches and again telling us that’s what any jeweler would do and to live with it. I should have cut my losses after round one and gone somewhere else, live and learn…
Really poor customer service, bait and switch pricing, and either a false inflated ego of his own skill, or really poor expectation setting for customers — not sure which of those last two groups he falls into. Sounds like he may be great at watch repair but I would look else where for any jewelry alterations and sizing…

I have had wonderful service at Belle Meade Jewelry and Repair. Scott is a real professional who is both skilled and very friendly and fun to interact with. He has fixed my watch several times and has done it incredibly cheaply. (At times I have almost insisted he charge me more!) I am so glad to have an honest, trusted professional to work with whenever the need arises!

My experience at Belle Meade Jewelry & Repair was absolutely lovely. My fiancé and I entered the shop 15 minutes before closing, and expected to have to drop off my engagement ring for re-​sizing to pick up at a later date. To our surprise, Scott stopped what he was doing, explained the re-​sizing process that he uses with a laser, and offered to re-​size the ring on the spot. He stayed after closing time so that I could have my ring back that day to wear. Scott was professional, courteous, precise and really fun to talk to as well. He even presented my fiancé with a cigar to congratulate him on the engagement! We love Belle Meade Jewelry & Repair and will be back for all of our jewelry needs.

I had an antique ring repaired here and I was disappointed with the quality of the work. The ring looked worse when I got it back, the welds were not smooth and some of the filigree bracing was crooked. The cost of this non satisfactory repair was outrageous. I also received opinions of the repair from other jewelers and the comments were the same, which was «this is not quality work». I will be paying someone else to correct the mistakes.

All I can say is you get what you pay for. When it comes to fine jewelry and watches, I most certainly don’t want someone sending it off for weeks, nor do I want a kiosk at the mall handling my treasured items. I need to trust who is working on it and the owner is super nice, a master at his craft and can do it while you wait. This small business is truly a gem and even though you may have to wait, you will get the best work in town. No one else could touch my stuff, nor did they want to. 5 stars here. For those complaining about price, you have options, but I sure as heck don’t trust just anyone with my stuff!

Nice enough guy, but he doesn’t come in until Noon, so know this if you need to speak to him.
Had a watch battery replaced for $ 50. Did a good job, but if you’re looking for a deal on price, you’ll probably do better elsewhere.

Belle Mead Jewelry & Repair is a godsend! Two weeks ago, while I was out and about on a Saturday night, I accidentally cracked the face of a pretty nice watch that my father gave me for graduation! Big mistake! The hands on the watch stopped moving and I think there might have even been a little water damage. Fortunately, the people at Belle Mead Jewelry & Repair were able to help me out.
The service here was really good. I explained my situation to a nice lady named Pamela and she said it could be fixed. Sure enough it was repaired within a week. I was really pleased with the quality of the service and the professionalism in which the employees work. The watch looked just as it did the day that I received it. I think they even polished out some of the scratches on the arm band and on the sides of the chassis where there had been some dents.
The service was A+ all the way! Belle Mead Jewelry also sells rings and diamond jewelry that looked pretty high quality, but I am no expert!
